Quiet day here today. They did cut the bushes at the condo (much needed & for 1st time this year)! Meowmy slept late, till 9am, so we got breakfast late. We always have dry crunchie food to stay us when she is off-line of the normal 7am schedule. Lil Grey & Midnight both got seperate walks this afternoon in the stroller. I watched out the window with only mild interest. Purrs & Vote, JujuCome visit me, Midnight.

Momcat has been busy, she bought a new sewing machine & has been playing with it & sewing up a storm, mostly just hemming some slacks that she was given by her friend who lost his wife in May. They were a bit long for her. Sunday, momcat noticed that her right calf was a slight bit swollen, swelling was was gone on Monday, but she then noticed a blood clot in a vein in the leg at 1pm, so she drove herself off to hospital emergency. 6 hours later, including one ultrasound test, they said she is fine, but it's better to be safe than sorry & Dr agreed that it's something you don't mess with. Edema they call it. Do NOT worry, mom is fine, just a real long boring afternoon. She finished up her sewing projects & has been waiting for the rain to stop cause No One has gotten a stroller walk since Saturday. All 3 of us insisted that she go on CC to blog for us, as she has been a bit negligent of our needs. Gee, isn't negligence a crime! LOL in this case. Early Sunday morning Pappoose decided it was time for mom to wake up so she meowed and mom told her go to sleep and Pappoose meowed again wanting food. Mom didn't want to get up at 4:45 AM so mom threw the red mousie and Pappoose went for it then she started racing from the front room through the kitchen into the computer room and back to the front room. Mom couldn't help but laugh and I (Rhoamin) just had to see what was going on. All of a sudden there was this cat scream on the monitor and we all scattered while mom rushed to slip on her shoes to check out who it was. There it went again while mom was outside. Mom seen it was this tom cat and Sissee. Mom called Sissee and she came and mom picked her up to make sure she was ok. Just loose fur was all mom seen. Mom told dad that tom cat is not a loud here anymore. It was about 85 for the high on Sunday which was more bearable and they're calling for a chance of rain on Tuesday. Mom Frontlined all of us inside kitties and also Carly the dog on Sunday. Mom did a little more flower planting after her and dad fixed the plastic on the outside of the cattery. Mom also posted a few new pictures at the bottom of my (Rhoamin) page on Sunday, too. On the local news they said that it was 28 years ago on Sunday that Mount St. Helens erupted. In case you don't know, Mount St. Helens is in Washington and there were 57 humans that died with 230 miles of forest land that was swallowed up by it. Just think of all the poor helpless animals that did not make it. Please say a prayer for all of the ones who are in the natural disasters and for the sick whether they are the furry or the non-furry kind. Here is your Knight Gang vote for you. So nice to meet you. Your a nice looking boy, similar to my sister, Midnight. Hope you are having a wonderful day. We had a lot of rain last week. Today was grey, but it did not rain. Sat, we got an afternoon of sunny & warm, but short lived. Momcat's friend, in Litchfield CT hospital is doing better today and she starts therapy on Monday. (She had a mid-size stroke). Mom is supporting her husband, friend, with phone calls and comradere & conversation/connection. These friends have been our momcat's for over 30 years and very dear to her. I've been very lazy today. Momcat promises that she will take me out in the kitty walker on Monday, unless it is raining. Neat programs on Discovery channel tonight, all about Eqypt. If you eventually find the name of the aussie cat, great, if not don't sweat it. It is a shame that CC search does not work. We keep a notebook of CC site #'s, updated once in a while, so we can go into internet explorer line & type in the apid=# to GO TO a specific kitty. It was Midnights day to blog, but she said that I can get on tonight with momcat. Momcat is awaiting news about a friend who was taken to hospital with a stroke this morning. Her husband has not called back yet, but we understand, but it has mommie anxious & she needed a CC break to help clear her mind as TV was just not 'cutting it' & pacing also did not help.
