Hi Kitty & Family
I have been at the Rainbow Bridge for nearly a week now. What a glorious place this is--the other Angels have made me feel welcome and I'm told I look quite stunning with my silver wings. I know Mom is still feeling a great sadness that I left so suddenly--I'd like to leave this poem for her--
Weep not for me though I am gone into that gentle night.
Grieve if you will, but not for long upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace, my soul's at rest
There is no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed.
For all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not,
The fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts,
In your memory I live on.
Remember not my fight for breath
Remember not the strife.
Please do not dwell upon my death,
But celebrate my life.

SHERMAN #35766 ~ FROM SHERMAN'S MOMMA: "Sad day!It is a sad day for us! Sherman #35766 has joined the other kitties over the rainbow bridge. We found him in his bed this morning. Momcat says it looks like he just went to sleep so our prayers for a kind passing were granted! He will definitely be missed around here but never forgotten! He'll finally get to meet his daddy. Mom even opened the bedroom window for us to go out into the cattery. It was a fairly quiet day with relaxation. Now this morning, Sunday, we woke up to yet more snow on the ground than yesterday and it finally stopped snowing at 7 AM PDT. What happened to SPRING???? We thought when they said "April Showers Brings May Flowers" that they meant Rain not Snow!!!! Mom says if we want out in the cattery today then we will be there with the window closed as it's too cold. Guess that means we aren't going out!!!! BUMMER!!!!
