How We Met
Kittyman, a.k.a Krusty (orange tabby in the pictures below), the cat I had for 12 years, died a year ago and I wanted to get two kitties. I picked them both up at PetSmart during their fall adoption.

13 year old Charlie #72389, our special COTD candidate for Wed. August 20th, lives the life of leisure in his senior kitty years! However, it wasn't always the cat's meow for Charlie. In his own meow, this is Charlie’s Story: "I honestly thought I was going to die! There I was, alone, abandoned by the other people who professed to love me and only 1 year old. I was scared, hungry, and in the dark! I was left in a closed box on a stair well in the apartment building where I once lived. I couldn’t get out of the box and I didn’t think anyone would hear me! But, then he came… The first thing I heard was his friendly, gentle voice, then I saw a face that matched the voice. I knew at that moment, that I had found my forever family! At first it was just Daddy, the dog, and me. Then Dad married my mom and I had more family to love me! Now, it was Dad, Mom, big sister, doggie Nero, and Silver and Homer (who are now angel kitties). Can you believe my luck! Out of all the people who could have taken that box, fate chose Dad to rescue me. It’s been 12 years since then, the happiest years of my life! I am a roast beef addict! My mom goes to the supermarket and buys extra roast beef for me every week. I also like to sunbathe daily. I also like to be held and cuddled and snuggled and I don’t mind if they sing to me, either! for you today!!! Im just running around the site visiting. Today we bought a large kitty condo cage for my oldest sibling. Hes 16 and not doing too well with the litter box anymore.So he gets to have a new special place for when mommy cant watch him. Im so glad you came to visit me!!! Im a snowshoe and my coloring while unusual is the perfect markings for a snowshoe to have. some arent as lucky as i am to have that. some only have the white feet.
