Hi Koko,All
How are you all,so good to hear from you.Tell mom not to worry about blogging,we so understand.Hope that dad will feel beter soon and hope that mom is doing ok,we think of you all.Thats so good that you have been taking care of mom and laying on her tume,sure makes our moms feel lots better to be next to them doesn't it.Been a cooler day for us,mr.sun was in,out,rain on the way for tonight.Got to go out to explore,checked out all my usual places,nothing much going on out but those worms crawling all over,when I see one of those worms crawling toward me,I run the other way!Went under all mousey bushes,in the tall grass,I just love doing that,never know what might be hiding in there I can pounce on,ate grass,then we saw the groundhogs out,they saw us and off they went,they sure are growing fast.Saw lots of birds,almost wacked another bee,but mom stopped me,ole bee was buzzing all around my head.Then we went to sit fo a few minutes so mom could rest,she is having lots of pain today,but her tummy is feeling a little better for her,yaaa,she said, so I just sat and looked all around while mom rested,played stick with mom,she gets a small tree branch with leaves on it and drags it back,forth on the ground,I love chasing it,thats fun,got tired of that and lay down and watched a robin getting worms out of the grass,I said hi birdie are you going to sing me a song,ole birdie flew off,hehe!Then mom got up,I know when she stands up its time to go in,I went right in today.Made my rounds through the house,all ok,made sure my toys,mr.innertube were laying on my paper bag,Wicket got on the bag last night and moved all my toys,he got a wack for that!Went to rest with mom after eating my treats on the bed,I heard mom muttering last night about all the treats she lay down on in the bed,then she got up and stepped on some in the floor and crunched them all over,hehe,well gotta have those treats.Now I'm laying on my toy rug lookng out the door,Baby,Wicket looking out the window,Missy,Cindell napping,so pretty quiet right now,pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels.

How has your day been.Not been out of the 30's here all day,sunny but cold and hard winds all day long.Mom did get me out for just a few minutes by the side of the house,I ate some grass,then a big ole puff of wind came and I wanted right back in,to windy out ther for me.Missy ate a little grass and she wanted back in also.I came in,ate my treats,made all my rounds checking out all my toys,looked out the windows and found my other missing marble behind the table,rolled him around for a few minutes.Mom has not felt good today and has had to lay down lots to rest,so each time she lay down I went right with her and lay beside her to watch over her,mom said I had been really good and so has Gang,we have all been laying with mom except Cindell,she stays on her towel on the counter,mom said we sure made her feel better being there with her,and I did take mr. innertube in to visit her,that sure makes mom smile big at me,hehe.She is feeling a little better right now,so been a quiet day here for us all,I'm laying on the table now looking around,well I just got up and eating more treats,they sure sure yummy to my little tummy,hehe!Missy sitting besdie mom,Wicket,Cindell,Baby napping.Bet moms garden will do realy great,there is nothing no better that home grown veggies mom said.So sorry that dad has an infection,we hope hat he will feel better really soon,thinking of him,good to hear from you,pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels.

How are you today.Has been a cloudy gloomy day here for us,so muddy out there.Mom did get me,Missy out for a few minutes.I explored some,ate lots of grass and just looked around while Missy lay on moms lap.I looked for another mousey under my mousey bush but there was nothing there today,guess they were all napping.Then mom said we had to come in,it was a little to chilly out there for us,I hissed but I came in,mom carries Missy in.Came in,checked out all my toys,boxes,bags and mr.innertube all ok and in place,ate treats,no racing through the house today yet,carried mr.innertube to visit mom when she rested,now I'm napping in the cat tunnel with my head hanging out,hehe,Gang are all also napping,its so gloomy out looks almost like night time.Hope dad is doing ok after his surgery and that the new meds will help mom.Hope Aunty will feel better,keeping everyone in our thoughts,prayers,pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels

How has your day been.It was cloudy but is now pouring rain here and cold.Mom did get me,Missy out for a few minutes this morning,I ate some grasss,explored and looked around,while Missy lay on moms lap,then the wind started blowing and mom said we had to come in,ole wind.Then I have been looking out the windows,tok a run through the house,turned over the scratcher boxes,played with mr.innertube,mom gave me anoher bag to play in,I love those bags,then I heard a noise and looked and Wicket was in MY box,I raced through the house and jumped in right on top of him,and wacked him a good one,he sure got out of my box,hehe,mom just shook her head at us,and said boys play nice now,or ole pinching stick might come out!Then when mom went to rest,I brought her mr.innertube to visit her,then I hopped up to lay down with mom,when I lay with mom I lay beside her arm and lay my head on her shoulder,Missy was on moms tummy and Wicket was playing and bit Missy right on the tail,well Missy wacked him a good one that time,mom said guys are you going to let me rest today,hehe!Last night after mom went to bed and everything was quiet,she wondered why I had not come to bed,well,I wanted to play and I went racing all through the house playing with my straws and rolling all the balls across the hardwood floors,and they sure make a racket,mom said Spongie,its bed time what are you doing in there,oh nothing mom,just making up for not running much the last 2 days,and keeping you and Gang awake for awhile,hehe,mom just sighed and covered up her head,I played awhile longer and made noise,mom said Spongie get to bed,I ran,hopped up on the bed and gave mom a kitty kiss right on the nose,she said one of these days Spngie you will bite the end of my nose off,hehe!All was quiet and then all of a sudden someone let out a really loud meow ,scared the fur off us all,thought the ole night monster had got us,mom got up and got into the living room where Baby was sleeping on the condo and Wicket and snuck up on her and knocked her off,well he sure got a scolding from mom,so I'm not the only one who gets into trouble here,hehe! Tell mom we said hi and hope she is doing ok,Pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels.

How are you today.Was a sunny day here for awhile then got all cloudy and cool out there,but mom did get me,Missy out for a little while to sit in the fresh air and look around,I explored and ate some grass while Missy lay on moms lap.I love getting to go out and see whats going on.Then it got all cloudy and we had to come in.I made all my rounds through the house to make sure all my toys,boxs,papers were all in place,they were all ok,and mr.innertube toy was fast asleep on his paper bag,hehe.Another quiet day here,I did not race through the house,just moved the condo around a little bit,some days I'm quiet,others a racing,wacking kitty racing all through the house mom said,hehe.Mom has not felt good today and has had to rest lots,so we all have been really good for her while she rested I carried mr.innertube toy and lay him right beside mom,that makes her laugh when I do that,she always says thank you very much Spongie for bringing mr.innertube to visit me.Now we are all nappping,Missy never lets mom out of her sight now and stays right with mom ever since she had to stay at the vet when she was sick,where mom goes Missy is right there with her now.Yes our yard is full of the mole hills,you can hardly walk through the grass.We hope that dads suegery goes well for him,we will keep him in our thoughts,prayers,Pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels

Sure good to hear from you all.Hope that mom is doing better now.We still don't get to blog like we used to before mom had the surgeries,she is still having so many health problems now,but we do try and get to blog some.It was a cold morning here but mr.sun came out and it did warm up a little.Mom took me,Missy outside for awhile,I explored,ate grass,and tried to dig out a mole,he sure was working under the ground,but I just could not get far enough down to get him out ole mole,I sure would have liked to have gave it a Spongie wack!Missy just loves getting to go out and lay in moms lap in the sun,but I did get scolded while we were out,I wanted to sit in the place Missy was sitting and she would not move so I wacked her and bit her on the tail,and you know what,Missy wacked me right back on my littel head, and then hissed at me!Mom was laughing so hard she was crying at the look on my face,I sure pouted awhile about all that,I turned my back and would not even look at mom or Missy after that!Then mom moved all our toys to clean around them and I had mine just where I wanted them,now they are all moved,when I take another race through the house I will put them all back where I want them,hehe.Mom had ole pinching stick out so I did not move them today,but grabbed mr.innertube toy and carried him beside moms bed so she would not get ole pibcher on him,hehe!hehe!Now I'm laying on the cat tree,loooking out the window and eating treats,Gang are just wandering all through the house,but Wicket did get in MY box and I sure did put him out,pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels Thanks for the cupcakes,they were great!

Hi Koko,
Stopping in today with my Sunday blog and vote! What's mew with you? The mews here is that Samson tried to jump Growlie...twice! Mom got on to him,and picked Growlie up and took him to a safe spot,where she then took the oppurnity to examine his fur. The new food seems to be helping him,as new fur is growing back in his,er,bald spots! Mom finally gave in,and is giving us the yummy new food too,yah!......The enclosure kitties managed to knock over their three tower condo that dad made,and smashed a litter box in the process. Mom was just glad no one was injured! She got a new litter box,and threw the smashed one out today. She also did some cleaning in the enclosure,as well as painting today. Mom asked dad if he would make two cat boxes to hang up high in the enclosure. She got the idea from the Catswall design boxes. Dad said he would add it to his 'honey-do list',haha!....The inside cats are doing good! Ellie still loves mom's room,and Gypsy dad's! Gypsy is the only one who hisses at Allie Cat,who is a complete little love bug kitty! ......Oh,and mom told Dad that she needed to save some money and take ME to the vet~YIKES~mom still thinks I am too overweight,and the other outside cats are not,and we all eat the same thing. She wants to make sure nothing else is going on with me. Well,I dread the day I have to go,whenever it may be,'cause when mom gets a notion in her head,she usually follows through. I'll be claw biting untill then! Well,enough till next week!~Purrs and Hugs,Bart

I am so sorry it has been awhile since I visited,but it has been very hectic around here now with mom's daughter and g'daughter living with us due to her job loss and illness! She is doing better now,and is out job hunting,so HOPEFULLY she will find one soon so things can get back to normal around here,and I can visit my fur-friends regular again!! ANDY AND ELLIE'S MORNING ADVENTURE!

A great big roach across the ceiling did come,
and up the curtain Andy did run!

A mid-air swipe and down it fell;
hit the floor running pell mell!

Andy and Ellie are on it in a flash,
but behind the waste can the roach did dash!

Round and round the cats did run,
chasing the roach and having SO much fun!

Under the rug it tried to escape,
little did it know that was a mistake!

Four taloned paws under the rug did search,
and the 'poor' little roach went plumb berserk!

A valiant run it made for the door,
but a quick paw-swipe pinned it flat to the floor!

A leap,a toss,a flip in the air...
~then CRUNCH!
It's ended-right then and there!

It is lovely to hear form you and so sorry for not getting back to you and Mom Angela sooner.
I am so sorry that your poor mom is having soom much pain, as if she did not have enough to put up with. Please tell her that me and mum will continue to remember her in our prayers and wish her better days.
It is good to hear that you are helping Bruno as he my not be as luck as you and may does not have such a loving home.
How lovely that you found our Kerry Gold and yes they are hppy Irish cows who give their milk to make it. Mums best friend is married to one of the Kerry farmers who send their milk for the butter so mum know some of thoe animals. If your mum Like chees and gets the chance she should try some of our Irish cheese ,especially the "Wexford Cheddar"it come in red and white and we love it. Grandpas family has one of the main herds for that cheese. We know that it is available in Europe but not sure about the US. If your mum should ever want to try it get back to us and perhaps we could find some way to get you some ,not sure how but we could try at least.
Please give your dear mum Angela a great big hug form us and also give each other lots of loving purrs.

Dearest sweet KOKO Im so pleased to hear from you and greatly relieved about your mum. Thank god she is home with her loving family furry or otherwise. Me mum mum and the grandparents have been thinking of her nad wondering how she was we keek her in our prayers as she is a very brave and special lady just as you are an extra special cat.
It is strange how things go with this time bleeding being her proble where previously it had been clots. Mum know how it goes as there have been so many health issues in our home over the year but none as scary as your poor mums. Im so very sorry tha she will need further surgery in a few months is been a very long hard road for her but I guess the surgeons know when it is safer to stop and go back later rather than taking even greater risks.
We wish you every blessing as you care for each other and hope mums "scarmbled egg" feeling passe soon.
I read that you are like me in that you prefer to drink form a glass, why not. I hope you are a good cat at taking your meds Im used to mine now and whenI went on a lot more med last July I was so please to get home from hoepital and one of the older nurses Suzanne whispered in my ear that it was easier on me to just take them off the hand. That way everyone thinks Im so good and they give me lots of treats. We ar no fools are we dear KOKO
It 47 here today whic is mild for the time of year but its due to get much colder at the end of the week.
Mum says we can expect anyting anytime up to St patricks day which can be one extreme or the other. I guess Im lucky to have my fur coat!
We also send support to your dad as he helps mum and all of you at what must be a stress full time in your home.

Hi Koko,
Meet pretty Eleanor,a dilute calico that Dad found at a busy intersection,along with her two brothers on 7/14/10. Dad originally planned to find homes for them,or see if our local shelter could take them. So mom got in touch with the shelter,and the lady said she had room for them and that her kittens were moving fast. So,it was all settled...or so mom thought! A few days later,Dad told mom that he wanted to keep,not one,but ALL THREE of the kittens! Mom just smiled,and e-mailed the shelter with the change of plans! Dad named her Eleanor because he thought it was pretty,but we call her Ellie,Ellie Mae,or my personal fave-Miss Nosey! Thats right,Ellie has to be where the action is and has to know what is going on in her home at all times! Why,she is even not afraid of that floor monster! She supervises all cleaning,and is even there when mom scoops the litter pans and will sit in the pan to watch! Ellie also has to be with mom in the mornings as she gets ready for work. She will 'tap' on the shower curtain when she thinks mom has been in long enough! Then she will sit on the toilet and 'talk' to mom as she does hair and make-up! Mom swears she is giving her advice,mol! Miss Ellie repeats this same procedure for dad when he get's up. Mom said Ellie reminds her of a momma getting her kids off to school! Ellie gets along well with all us kitties here and is pretty laid back. She also 'adopted' little Andy,and just like a mama,patiently lets him practice his wrestling skills on her-(4th pic)-Ellie also appreciates a really good 'cat nap',no matter where. This busy girl needs them! We all love her very much,and are so happy that Dad had a change of heart and decided to keep her and her brothers!!

'Morning Koko,
I hope the New Year brings health and happiness to you all-with plenty of catnip and treats too!..... Today I am going to introduce you to brother Levi! He is a handsome long-haired multi-colored kitty. He was found on 9/28/09 all alone,at two week old,in a wooden pallet at a recycling center. As the pallet came from where mom works,the lady called mom, and she stopped by after work and picked him up. Mom had to bottle feed him,and of course,big brother Dixon quickly stepped in and took over the potty stimulating and cleaning! As the kitten got older,there seemed to be an issue with his eyes,and mom and dad were not sure if he could see,as the little fellow kept running into everything! Because of this,they decided he would NOT be up for adoption. Turned out his eyes are fine-he just does not like bright lights,and as a result mom can't get a good picture of his beautiful aqua eyes! Mom called the kitten 'Spud' for a long time,as that is what popped into her head at the time. Dad wanted him to have a Bible name,so mom made a list,showed it to dad and he picked LEVI! Better than Spud,huh? That is now his 'nickname'. Levi has never outgrown his need to suckle and will nurse on anyone's hand that will let him. He is not choosy! He is a jealous boy,and will get mad at mom if there is another kitty in her lap when he wants to be there! The only exception to that is Dixon. Those two will pile up together in mom's lap,as they bonded early on and still are to this day! Levi is always welcome in the house,but prefers to spend his days out in the cat enclosure,where he reigns as Top Cat!!...NOTE: Mom used to have some really good baby pics,but a computer virus ate them!~Hope you enjoyed meeting,spoiled,handsome,babyish Levi!

I'm with you - I like steak too! In fact, I like any kind of "people meat." Spring Hill is in the foot of FL on the West side of the state. I hope your Mom can visit them someday. Did you have good "cookie" smells in your home yesterday?

Mom read us a bedtime story last night and there were some funny names in the story. Get this - reindeer named Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner/Donder, Blitzen, and Rudolph - AND - they ALL fly! Can you believe this? Being the smart Birman that I am, I'm alittle skeptical to tell you the truth.

Please remind Mom after C-mas when your Mom's surgery is. OK?

Are you kitties behaving around or under that Christmas Tree? Yes, presents do weigh down that tree skirt. Yes, now I see you're blind in one eye so that could by why you're sensitive on one side. You're a good kitty walking along side your Mom while being outside. When is your Mom's surgery? I thought it was after Christmas. What's your Mom's name? We like to pray for people using their name.

Yes, we are baking Mom's favorite cookies - they are Powdered Sugar/nut cookies. Yummy!

Did you get your Christmas tree yet? No I don't have a Christmas sweater - do you? I have a walking jacket that I wear when I go outside on the leash. Oh dear, please keep us posted on your Mom's surgery in January. Bless her heart for feeding those 2 strays, Mine feeds ferals up in Michigan and it breaks her heart to see them. Cute story about the 2 b/w cats. There's one female up in MI and she's b/w so Mom named her Mookie (like a cow) and she's feed this Mama cat for 6 years. She's one tough kitty to endure those MI winters.

Bart says-meet my brother Smudge,AKA-Stump Butt! Today I will introduce you to Smudge. Many of you already know him,as he used to have his own page here on CC.For those of you who don't-he is a Manx,like me,and is solid black-except for a 'smudge' of white on his chest. Mom 1st saw him on Pet-finder one week-end when she was bored,and 'just looking'! HA! One look and she was smitten! Smudge was in a foster home,but up for adoption through Claws & Paws,Inc. here in Marion Co. Ga.,where we live. Dad gave the O.K.,and Smudge joined our family on 7/24/07. He was born on 4/26/07. Smudge was his shelter name,and mom liked it,and as it suits him,kept it. He is an outside/inside cat,per his choice! As you can see from his pictures,he is a handsome fellow who likes to sit on his butt like a human. He is an avid 'talker' and can say 'mama'! He's a toilet tissue,paper towel shredder,cabinet door opener kind of cat! He once helped the inside kitties escape by opening the sun-room door! He is an awesome jumper,and leaps from the roof of the house straight to the ground! Smudge loves one-on-one attention from mom and dad,and has a deep rumbling purr! HOWEVER,he does not liked his butt touched,and will bite the hand that tries!! Mom thinks it is because his tailbone ends up on his back,giving him a 'cowlick'! She hopes this does not give him problems as he gets older. Smudge does not get along with the rest of us kitties,with the exception of Charlie. He especially does not seem to like orange cats,and gave Chester grief when he was alive.This past year,he tore a chunk out of little Opie's nose,which resulted in a vet visit for Opie. They are now kept separate at all times,and Smudge is on Homeopet Anxiety Drops w/TFLN. It seems to be helping with his aggression. Mom says Smudge really should have been an only kitty,as he is happiest when he is alone with us-and Charlie,of course!

Is it beginning to look alot like Christmas in your home? Don't you just love the glow and warmth of this time of year? No tree for us this year as my parents will go to Atlanta.
