Wow Smokie!
What an amazing story of survival! I bet you're glad to be indoors after THAT ordeal, huh? My boys survived thier first few weeks of life outside but once they found me, they never looked back. Life outside has it's perks but it's ultimately quite dangerous and no place for little kitties! We Torties can be a feisty lot as you well know; it's good that you made up and can be friends again. Cold Montana
Hi, Smokie. It does get very cold here sometimes. Mom says we live in the sun-belt of the Arctic. We're not sure what that means but it sounds funny! She says we don't get as cold as North Dakota or Minnesota, though.Come visit me, Lynx & Taymet.

Wild Kitties---A New Game
We've taught Mom a new game! If she spins one of the teasers really fast, especially near obstacles, we play Wild Kitty. The object is to jump and run and chase in circles as high and fast as you can until you collapse or catch the toy. Then it starts all over again.Come visit me, Lynx & Taymet.

Goodness! What a scary story - this must be why mom never lets us go outside - things like this can happen. So glad you found your way home, got rid of the little orange bugs (They don't sound fun.) and are wtih your family again. Aren't families great? I was living in the woods when I adopted my mom and got her to take me home. My little brother was in a cage somewhere mom said and she felt he needed a home so I got stuck with him. At first I wasn't so fond, but as you can see from the photos we get along 95% of the time now. Happy New Year! Come visit anytime.
