Hi Jake! Thanks for your note! The little box I'm squeezed into in that picture used to be "just a box" and it was waiting to be broken down for the recycling. I decided that it looked like a perfect fit, and tried it on. It was! I just love boxes! Because I like to sit in it so much, and Momcat thought I looked so cute in it, she didn't put it in the big "blue box" (I don't get to sit in it...off limits to kitties). I saved it's life! What a hero. Everybody can sit or lie down in the petting box, but only me, Patchouli, can sit in the noodle box! I hope Momcat never squashes it.

Some claws!
Hey Jake! You have the biggest white claws! Do you use them often? I have big white claws too, but I let Momcat trim them with the cat nail clippers so I don't get stuck in the cat tree or scratching post. It doesn't hurt to have them trimmed. I sit on Momcat's lap and purr while she does it. My step-sister Wicca needs somebody to hold her so that Momcat can trim her claws. They look just as big as yours. She's black like you, but has really long fur. We used to live with a cat who looked just like you. His name was Guinness. He moved away when Momcat's son Matt moved out. We all hope you're doing well and having fun with your "sister" Mariah. Come see us sometime...

Jake, me mum just LOVED the joke about alley cats! TOOOOooo funny! She sends jokes like that to her brother who has a HOUSEFUL of felines and ADORES kitty funnies! Hi Jake! My person was from Michigan too...Luzerne. She sure misses it there and tells me it is prettier than Minnesota...at least where we live. She is sick of nothing to look at but corn or bean fields and flat land for miles. She visited Michigan a few months ago, but I had to stay home because I drive her nuts when we are in the car together. Want to hear a joke? Why don't cats play poker in the jungle? Too many cheetahs!!
