My dad would get freaked out too. Never go near the road. Dad feeds and cares for a colony of ferals where he works, a couple of weeks ago one of the kitties he had managed to catch and have treated at the vets, was hit and killed by a car. Dad found him, and brought him home and buried him by the little creek in our backyard. Dad is pretty macho (a retired Air Force Pilot) and he doesn't like for anyone to see him cry, but I heard him several times over the weekend. It is so dangerous for kitties to be anywhere near a street. Please be careful. Boy I got in so much trouble yesterday. Dad put me outside by the bird feeder to I could hunt for the mice that live under the feeder. When him and mom weren't looking, I decided to go out in the road. Mom FREAKED and scolded me. I guess the party is over now. It's all better since she calmed down. I don't know why she freaked....I was just going hunting....Come visit me, Woody.

Isn't there an oldies song about you? Pawsing by with a vote and a request. Today is my big day ! I'm hoping everyone stops by to help me get my COTD award tomorrow. I was such a delight to my family that they miss me everyday. There was always fun to be had whether it was playing floor hockey with ice cubes or chasing those gheckos on the lanai. I usually caught them and kept our patio ghecko-free. That's not the case now, as Poochi was only a spectator in that sport and there are many gheckos running freely now. When I woke up, there was a do-to list for me, so I was busy all the time. when I got sick in November, my family was devastated. Poochi still spends time on the patio, caterwalling for me. He doesn't always know it, but I watch over him and miss him lots, even tho' I've made many furriends here at the Rainbow Bridge. Mom still gets a lump in her throat and tears in her eyes when she thinks of me, but I left her with many happy memories and took with me lots of love. She gets comfort from a song she found at www.spiritlyrics.com It seems to convey for her where I am and everything is okay. I was a feral cat as well. i also had kittens that turned feral sadly mommy chouldnt save them but i was saved, and have a wounderful home and im so happy you have found a great home as well.Come visit me, Lexie.
