HILLS TD dental dry food and GO wet food made in BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA...We were on the Innova wet and dry food but switched when we heard the Natural pet food company had been bought out in May by Proctor and Gamble and were worried they may try to cheapen the ingredients of the food.....MAY 12TH NOW WEIGHS 18.6 LBS
My pet peeves: trys to play bite with owner he goes nuts

Smoke’s Angels is a page dedicated to the loving memory of a group of Kitties that have touched the lives of a loving and caring family for many, many years. All Of these kitties are angels now and all but one of them found this loving family. Although this touching story did not start with Smoke he knew all the kitty's that will eventually be on this page. He reigned supreme in the family’s house for 18 years. Most of these Angels have crossed the bridge In the last 10 years and it has been very difficult to say goodbye to so many babies in such a short time. All now reside in the family’s Kitty Cemetery. Although this page is dedicated to the memory of several Angels it is named in memory of Smoke. Smoke came to his forever family in 1989, missing an eye and had a terrible ripped leg, they think a large bird had gotten hold of him but somehow he got away. Smoke bonded with his family instantly and found a deep love that would span 18 years. Smoke’s family miss him dearly and Smoke still loves his special family very much. Surprise ACOTD for ANGEL JAKE #142474 ~
~
From Duckie’s Desk: ANGEL JAKE #142474 is a very quiet angel on CC these days but is remembered as the sweetest cat in the world by his loving family. He was the icing on the cake of life for them when they saw his handsome face in the pet store, and they happily added him to their multi-cat household without a second thought. JAKE #142474 became ill near the end of 2009 and received his first COTD badge on 12/26/09, thanks to the outpouring of love for him as he celebrated his birthday the day before. He was scheduled for surgery the following day to find out why he was so sick, so while the family waited and hoped, all of CC prayed for him and his family. Apparently the angels needed a special boy like SWEET JAKE #142474 to join their ranks though because the diagnoses came back as terminal lymphatic cancer. His family and friends were devastated by the news and knowing they couldn’t let him suffer any longer, the family made the very difficult decision to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge on 12/29/09. ANGEL JAKE #142474 is now spreading his benevolence down on all of us and we’d like to honor him Saturday by helping him get an ACOTD badge to adorn his cloud so he knows he’s not forgotten just because he became an angel. SURPRISE ANGEL CAMPAIGN for 4/20~
From Duckies’ Desk: ~Have you met ANGEL ANGEL #133708? She is a kitty without a badge on her page so we’d like to surprise her with a special campaign Friday & need your help to complete this secret mission! This sweet kitty was trying to find a safe place in a neighborhood with her 3 kittens but was having problems with people chasing her away. Her soon-to-be furever mom saw this & started putting food by her garage every day to show her that not all people were unfriendly to cats. ANGEL #133708 got so used to the idea that she went inside the garage & discovered that loving humans did exist & she’d found the purrfect one. She was taken to the vet for shots & spaying so she knew in her little kitty heart that this home was hers to call her own. ANGEL #133708 joined CC in April 2009 & was called to the heavens at the end of November 2011. She’s still missed by her sweet mom, her adopted older sibling Giovanni, as well as doggie sibs Aussie & Rowdy from DC. Please help us honor this beautiful angel by pawing a vote her way on Friday April 20 so she’ll know she’s not forgotten by her CC family & friends.

From Duckies’ Desk: Have you met Angels Buster and Louie, #210737? Once or maybe twice in someone's lifetime a cat will come along who not only steals your heart but holds onto it forever. This was the case of Buster and Louie and describes the bond that these two lucky kitties had with their forever family. Louie was found half crawling in the middle of the street. His eyes were so infected they were swollen shut, and his nose was so blocked he had to struggle to breathe. He was given antibiotics for his respiratory infection and antibiotic drops in his eyes. He slowly got better but his eyes were so infected his family was afraid he might lose his sight. He was lucky, though. His eyes got better but his left eye was always a little weepy.
Buster’s mama was abandoned in the neighborhood while she was pregnant, and had her kittens under a neighbor's house. She moved the babies to their forever family’s yard and behind the barn of another neighbor. Buster’s future family had already begun to feed his momma and she was starting to trust them. Buster had found his home!
Louie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on April 28, 2011, and Buster crossed on March 16, 2011. Angels Buster and Louie would love to send their family a special gift on Saturday, April 14th. From Duckie’s Desk: Have you met Angel Markus, #219297? Markus crossed the Beautiful Rainbow Bridge on November 14th, 2011. Since that time Angel Markus has taken a very active part in welcoming Kitties across the Rainbow Bridge and showing them the great love that he experienced in his lifetime. Markus was dropped off at an animal shelter and being a perfectly healthy kitty he was taken in by a loving family who fell in love with this beautiful young male cat. Markus was a very happy cat and he felt his forever families love every day. Markus was very playful and had a life filled with everything a kitty could ever want! Markus developed an intestine problem that would take his life at the age of 11 years. Angel Markus said goodbye to his family in November of 2011. BooBoo would sit on her Mommy and Daddy’s shoulder and purr loudly to show her love to her new forever family. His future mom went to the Wisconsin Humane Society and saw a cat. that resembled his future dad's cat "Bill". Iago was the name given to him there. It is pronounced YA-Go. It means "James" in Spanish. His mom added the "Diago" because it rhymed and added more character!. Iago was a special Kitty and loved by his family very much. He said goodbye to his family on October 29th of this year and made his journey across the Rainbow Bridge. Angel Iago is a very happy Kitty and very popular. We wanted to do a SPECIAL Catpaign for ZIPPI #22431 in the Memory & Honor of his human dad, Jim. We called him "Uncle Jim". So many friends to Jim and his beloved babies Ole Gray ; Missy, Zippi and Taz would agree this would be an honor to vote ZIPPI #25453 for her COTD on 11/30/2010 and receive his Badge on December 1st ~~ TWO years ago in the passing of Jim. ZIPPI was born in a litter of 6 Hemmingway kitties and the only one that didn't have double paws (polydactyl) Jim her at a shelter and she screamed at him and crawled all over him when he took her out of her jail cage.She is the only gray tiger. ZIPPI was born on Feb. 25, 2007. We believe, but do not know for sure, that ZIPPI is the only one of Jim's four kitties who remained with Jim's daughter.
Jim loved so many things, like his "Frosty Beverage" or always going to the "Cabinet"; the "Sunshine Gang" had wonderful and funny stories to tell most everyday. Then "Uncle Jim" decided to call them "As The Rancho Turns".
When Uncle Jim passed away on 12/01/2009, he left behind his four kitties. Lillian Knight had contacted his daughter and asked her if she was going to keep them together with her and she told Lillian she would, but that didn't happen. So many of us CC friends were very upset about that. Lillian tried to get an update on all the kitties but Jim's friend hasn't returned mom's email.

This 1 year old black beauty got her name because of her eerily spooky meow & the infamous tales from the city of Salem. When this cutie was small she was very afraid of heights & would scratch like a wildcat when anyone picked her up. On the ground she was the most loving furbaby ever imagined so we're glad she finally overcame her fear so she can enjoy the wonders of new heights. SPOOKY SALEM #216537 sometimes gets teased by her siblings because she loves to roll over on her back & get belly rubs like a dog, but she ignores them & keeps on rolling. You can often find her perched on a chair or windowsill watching the outside world with curious eyes & wondering how she could bring some of that fun inside. From Duckie’s Desk: Have you met Angel PK, #62764? Angel PK and his sister Gabby were rescued from a group of 30-40 cats and kittens. PK was always an active kitten but he did develop some health problems later in life, including a heart murmur. One day the vet told his Mom that PK might only have about six months to live, because of a condition known as CRF. PK surprised everyone by living another two years because of the wonderful care and love given him by his forever family. When PK felt he could go on no longer he said his goodbyes to his family knowing he would see them again one day. They share a very strong bond which is that of having a very loving forever family. Angel Pierre was with his family for only six short months before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. A year after losing Pierre, my parents gave into my pleading for another cat. Dad knew of a woman who had taken in a mother and small kittens, abandoned in the snows of an Ontario winter. Just as the kittens were old enough to be without her, the mother had been killed on the road and the woman was looking for homes for the kittens. The rest was history.
