Ya today I was a lazy boy...Just sleeping all day long! I have to go to the vet tomorrow, I hate the vet. Mom made those Cat Fancy covers off the website here (I think it is under "fun & games") and saved them to her desktop. Then she just added them like a normal photo. You should try it. It was fun making the covers.

A huge thank you to all of you who voted for me for COTD! The response was overwhelming! It was great to meet many of you for the first time. I love how many new friends I have made! It pays to be popular! You have all made my day! Thank you for all of the handsome comments too....they made me blush! I am a shy guy, but secretly revel in compliments! Also thank you for saying how cute the freckle on my nose is. I have always been shy about that, but now I know that it is a-okay! Mom made Mac N Cheese for lunch to celebrate, and rumour has it that I will be getting a taste of the whipped cream off dad's birthday cake too! PLUS we are getting Fancy Feast for supper! Talk about a celebration! I don't think mom and dad had this much fantastic food at their wedding! It is party central in our household!

After a rough and tough couple of weeks in our house with our canine friend crossing the Bridge and our little human brother having a health scare, we need to have something exciting and happy happen! It is our dad's birthday on April 8, and what better way to celebrate than with a shiny COTD badge for his favourite feline! Dad chose me and my brother Oliver as wedding presents for mom in 2005. Dad was a bona-fide dog person, but instantly fell in love with Gibson's adorable kitten antics. On the move from the shelter to our new home, Gibby became very sick. Dad bottle fed him around the clock until he was good as new. Dad & Gibby have been best buds ever since. Please help us make April 8 an extra special day in our household! Here is just a quick cut & paste letter to say "hi" from us! Mom has been SO busy lately that she has been limiting our computer time. Can we ask all of you wonderful kitties to keep mom's human kitten in your prayers? Yesterday when mom was at the local Community Health Centre, the nurse there pulled her aside after noticing that her human kitten was doing something strange with his eyes. The nurse explained that he was showing some symptoms of having fluid on the brain. Mom is taking him to the doctor tomorrow but is very worried about him. Please keep our mom, dad & their human kitten in your prayers. He is a special little guy that even we love!

Sorry I haven't really had too much time to write lately. Dad is home for a few days after being away for a few month, so mom has been busy going out with dad. We haven't had too much time on the computer because of it. Hopefully we will get back into a routine soon!
How have you been? What have you been up to? Mom went to a cat show yesterday and bought us come catnip and honeysuckle toys. They are really cool. We haven't even fought over them too much. She got us a mat for the rocking chair too. She says it will help keep our fur off of everything!
Gotta run - mom is off to bed so she is making me get off the computer!

Hope you are enjoying a great day today! It is almost the weekend and that always means extra treats in our house! Mom is going to a cat show tomorrow, so we KNOW that she will be bringing home lots of treats for us. We are really excited though because dad will be home for the weekend and he always gives us way too many treats (too many according to mom, but we think he gives just the right amount!)! He will be gone again soon, but it will be nice to see him even for a little bit. He and Grandpa are babysitting mom's kitten and us tomorrow, so we should be able to get into LOTS of mischief. PITA is Pain In The Arm, or something else. The egg fest is over, the kits are napping, dad is pooped, the house is messy, the new kitty hasnt returned after a few feedings and back to the routine. Taz helped a workman today inspecting the new windows. He said later is she always underfoot like that? ALWAYS. We have lots of shedding going on and the dust mop is busy. Zippi has about 3 miles riding on it and Taz has killed it many times. The cabinet is restocked. All is normal at the kitty rancho and a voteCome visit me, Ole Gray, Zippi, Taz & Missy.

Happy Easter Rascalina,
Thank you for visiting! I wouldn't let you pet me until you died. I wouldn't want to lose your friendship! Mom and I stayed up until 3:00 a.m. blogging and watching movies, we just crawled out of bed at 11:00 a.m.! Mom wishes she could stay up late like that all the time and not have to go to dumb work. Not much longer now, 14 months and 13 days to go. I think Mom plans to cook red beans and rice today. She would do a ham but forgot to take it out of the freezer. The Easter Bunny brought me all kinds of treats and some gormet dry food and a few pouches of wet food that is different from what I usually eat. I am sure it is not that good for my tummy to always have so much different stuff but I DEMAND variety!!! Mom and I plan to work on some more thank you blogs as we are so far behind from last week's COTD but we hope everyone knows how appreciative we are and what an honor it is and was to have so many sweet, wonderful firneds that voted and/or dropped by with a happy congratulations!!! May the love of Jesus shine upon you with the warmth of a sunny day!
