Success At the Lake!
Today was just perfect! Sunny , 76,calm lake and lots of fish Whole family got up early and we caught 4 fish 3 of them were 4 lb salmons and then we caught a monster king salmon 14 lbs! It was a fighter! I'm giving it to my Mittens! Funny thing is we caught a lamprey eel as well! PURRFECT FOSTER PARENTS
ANGELS ON EARTH. We were talking with a lady from a feral rescue group the other day and our conversation turned to the need for more foster families for kitties. The CC community is fortunate to have many of these wonderful foster families, or Angels on Earth. These are the caring Moms and Dads who take the orphan and homeless kitties into their homes and nurture them until they can find their very own furrever home. In many of these cases, the temporary foster has become a permanent family member (A good example is Sasha Lentz #56701)! A true Angel on Earth is Angel Kitty Baby's #18265 Mom. Baby's Mom has a foster mama kitty and her 3 precious kittens posted on her page. This little family is being given a better chance for a happy life because Baby's Mom is socializing them and teaching them to trust. Another Angel on Earth is Stuart Cottonbelly's #18880 Mom. They too take in the orphaned and homeless and keep them until they can find a furrever home. We applaud the Georgia Gang's two Angels on Earth, Mom & Dad #29045. They have several fosters right now, some of them requiring medical care. The Maine Gang's Angel on Earth Mom #40145 takes in special needs fosters requiring a lot of time and attention. Speck-a-cat's Angel on Earth Mom #71199 takes in homeless ferals and gives them a home. These are but a few of the Earth Angels on the CC. We know there are literally dozens who have taken in the sick, unwanted, homeless, abandoned, not physically perfect, lost, and given them a chance to have a happy life. To those of you who have always said "there's room for one more", may the Angels bless you. (Ole Gray #20257 says "thank you, Dad!). It is rainy and cool here today 40's The derby went well Didn't win big prizes Caught 3 salmon and 2 rainbow trout this week-end Lake was kind of rough i'm still going up and down with the waves! The largest salmon we caught was 9.5 lbs and 8.5 lbs for the trout We may have got 5th place for the trout and 12th place for the salmon Top winning salmon was 15.8 lbs and top trout was 11 lbs. Hope you can all catch some catnaps today since it is a nappy kinda day !Rainbow trout and perch samples for everyone with a vote ! Hi ! It is only 41 here today cold and rainy and I have been snoozing alot I was up at 5:30 >Mom wouldn't let me out today I have to rest up for my hockey game tonight! I think all the driving and fresh air tired me out! Check out my daredevil antics on the hammock and the laketrout on the grass beside me! Overcast here May get some rain. Played a great hockey game last night Even scored one goal! Thanks to all who came to the arena to watch. Lots of fun! Last night I don't know what happened to me .I was out on my leash and this man came walking up the hill towards me and I went wild and knocked over the bench.He was on his own property mom said but I didn't like him !When mom went to pick me up I was so tense that i scratched her I ran under the bed when I came in the house for an hour. Then I woke mom up at 440 to be fed She got up of course and then cut her finger on the cat food can To make matters worse she was just about to shut the dryer door when she sees a bunch of orange on the wet clothes Me! Had another nice day here Was bird and squirrel watching . Then I went a few feet too far and landed in a berry bush with thorns on the branches Luckily I escaped unharmed but mom has scratches from the thorns on her arm. I guess it was a full moon Sunday Mom came running downstairs about 3 am after hearing a smash of dishes to the floor and there I was looking sheepish I was only running to the window by the sink because i heard a noise outside. Luckily only one plate broke and I didn't get into too much trouble. Supposed to rain today so I'm out for half hour this am before it comes. got up to 76 yesterday, nice breeze and sunny I was out squirrel chipmunk and bird watching and chasing leaves It tires me out so I don't wake up mom at 5 am . Any of you kitties going in the boston kittyathon today? I am training with mom for a marathon in the fall only i can't keep up to her. I can only go 5 mins at a time. It was 81 here sat and 76 today Really mice! Was at my cottage .Was out side on my leash alot Dad caught a lake trout and 2 salmon . I had a taste! Yummy! Had a campfire Did alot of bird and squirrel watching. Saw the big lake! Went to Grampa's bird-ay pawty I saw a yippy dog that looked like a squirrel. Iam tired lots of driving Saw my first big long choo choo train. It Was loud! Leaving you a vote and a taste of salmon . Nice and sunny here 77! I was outside on my leash squirrel hunting Saw a few and wouldn't let them come the tree! Loved being COTD! lots of extra treats and cuddles treated like a king! Daddy got home a t 9 pm last night with 36 yellow perch and I only got a taste! I watched him skin and clean them and the funny thing was some were still alive and jumping on the table See my new fish pics. looks like a nice day here hope your rain stops soon. Daddy still isn't home yet from fishing. Yep my birthday is apr 9th and i'll be 2 I've lived with my owner for a year now. I just had my yearly vaccines at the vet and I weighed 15 lbs It was 11 Celcius here so I got to go outside for 20 mins on my tie out leash It was sunny Must be warm in tennessee!
