Good Morning, Friends! Would you like a great and easy Human Recipe this morning? Well, I was just out strolling in the royal gardens (please see my main picture made by royal photographer, Boo Kitty (Thanks so much Boo!)) and I thought you all deserved a really great recipe today! I hope you enjoy it as much as my Mom and Dad do! They always have it for the Super Bowl Party! Mom says she should make it more often!
TORTILLA ROLL UPS
16 oz. softened cream cheese
Sm. 2-oz can green chilies
Sm. can chopped black olives
Sm. jar pimentos
6 sliced green onions
8 oz. chopped ham
6 burrito-sized flour tortillas
Mix all ingredients together except tortillas. Spread mixture over the tortillas. Roll up and wrap in Saran Wrap. Refrigerate overnight. Slice in 1/2 inch slices to serve.

Cliffy is doing great, and his return to the Foundation was cancelled today. Daddy is SOOOOOO happy, and can't wait to get out and go walking with his new boy! Thanks to everyone who said prayers for Cliffy and Daddy because what else could have made such a difference in this big boy, seemingly overnight? Miracles happen and we received ours thanks to friends like each and every one of you!

A good and happy morning to all our dear friends! Nothing much has changed here except Momma's hip is really giving her fits now on top of Daddy's problems. She is going to try to do a little blogging as the day goes on, so you all know we honestly care and are trying. Daddy's doctor doesn't get in till 10:30am our time today! Geesh! He has BETTER hours than the bankers! We will call right away and try to get Daddy in on an emergency basis. Tomorrow Momma goes to see her doctor at the Veterans Hospital, but the recipe will still be posted here on my page, and also on the CMR page. Thanks so much for hanging in there with my catpaign and voting for me. I guess this was a bad month to run for Queen, just at the time, who would have known all this was going to happen? Boy, when we do it up...we do it up good, huh? Please keep Momma and Daddy and his new Guide Dog, Cliffy, in your prayers. Cliffy is also having some problems adjusting so a little prayer his way sure wouldn't hurt either! Thanks dear friends. We love you! Here is your recipe:
MACKEREL CAT MUNCHIES
1/2 cup canned mackerel, drained
1 cup whole-grain bread crumbs
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon brewer's yeast, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium-size bowl, mash the mackerel with a fork into tiny pieces. Combine it with the remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop mixture by 1/4 teaspoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Cool to room temperature and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Good evening dearest Tigger!! How are you?
Autumn has finally arrived to Buenos Aires. And although Mr.Sun keeps on shining above,it´s now getting colder,specially at night.
My girl Pucca and I have been having lots of fun chasing the leaves in our back garden. They fall down from the trees and then, they´re moved by the wind!! That´s always lots of fun!!
We have been also napping a lot in our parents´ bed. I like sleeping under the blankets every time I can!!(he,he!!). When Mom sees me; I just start to purr very load. I know she loves my purring song!!

Terry's gums were badly infected & her teeth were not in very good shape either. She is now toothless, but the vet says Terry will be much happier & healthier now as a result..Terry got home last night ..She won't be able to eat any dry food for awhile, but I'm sure she'll adjust once she's fully recovered..Some type of skin mass was found in her mouth or throat and it was sent out for biopsy. I'm praying that it's benign..

PRAYERS..LING LING 128471 went to the Rainbow bridge last Sat, Feb 20, 2010. They are sad, & their Mama is devastated, but we all feel that she is at peace and no longer in pain. She had a congenital kidney disease, and left us much too soon.
YUKKI 163415 has her big girl surgery at the SPCA TODAY , just like her Mom TIPPI did about a month ago.Her little babies are growing up so quickly!! AUSSIE KITS Mum 4624 said she has to go to see her Breathing Specialist Wed & then that Doc. will get her an apptment to have a biopsy done asap, when that has been done mum will know exactly what is going on with the Cancer and what can be done to hopefully get rid of it
DADCAT SCOTT 42912 IS IN THE HOSP, WITH A REALLY HIGH BP; DRS. CAN'T SEEM TO BRING IT DOWN BUT THEY ADMITTED HIM IN THE WEE HOURS THIS MORNING (LIKE 2:30 AM) & MOMCAT CAROL IS THERE HOLDING HIS PAW - ER - HAND; SHE IS WAITING FOR THE DR TO ARRIVE BEFORE VENTURING HOME TO GET WHAT SHE HOPES WILL BE A DECENT NIGHT'S REST
TERRY #100035 is going to have dental surgery today. The Vet won't know extent of the work to be done until the blood work & x-rays are taken. It's day surgery, in by 7:30AM and pickup at 6PM

.LONGEST CAT..LEO..This orange & white Maine Coon from Chicago weighs 35 Lbs & is 48 in long Leo's owner says she has to watch him carefully while she's cooking because he is so big he will stand up, put his paws on kitchen counter, & try to play by swatting the food onto the floor.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, Mommy is finally feeling better, she even went out today to see a movie just to get out of the house, she saw "Shutter Island" and said it was pretty good. She is still very tired , but feels the worst is over and is ready to be well again. I also am doing very well with my Sub Q Fluids and I feel great!!!!!!! We Are Back Dear Furrfriend!!
Hello precious Tigger!! It is wonderful to meet you.
These are your friends Simba and Pucca blogging for you tonight. We are sorry because we could not help you with the votes for your friend Annie; but our pawrents were having their summer vacations.
They were supposed to be back last Monday but they decided to stay in Mendoza during 2 more days. Momma told us that they wanted to visit the Atuel Canyon before they left and they could only do that on Sunday 21st. The Atuel Canyon is an oasis located at the southern region of Mendoza. It was about 230km far from the Hotel where our pawrents were staying and it took them the entire day to visit it.
Mommy said the place was absolutely awesome and that the landscapes took her breath away. Mom has put some of the photos she took at the end of my page;she still has lots of photos to download on her computer.
We have been very good kitties while Mom and Dad were having vacations. Although we had strong storms in Buenos Aires and floods too. Luckily we were safe at home. The water reached the living room and the kitchen but there were no damages. Dad´s parents were taking care of us and they cleaned up everything straight away.
Mom and Dad have spent all day long spoiling us!! Specially Mommy!! She missed us a lot and she has been kissing and hugging us all the time!! (he,he!!)
But it´s wonderful to be back,dear furrfriend!! And we´re very happy to have our pawrents home again!!
We hope you have a purrfect and blessed night. Here we´re sending you lots of purrs and kitty kisses and also a bunch of hugs.

Sweet Tigger,
Happy Friday to you all. It has been a wonderful week here weather-wise -- 70s/40s with lots of sunshine. A change in forecast is coming here, though -- starting tonight. We are expecting rain this weekend with a drop in temperature down to the low 60s/40s. Mom is not really thrilled about this for 2 reasons: (1) She has been battling some kind of upper respiratory infection/flu/virus -- she doesn't know exactly what it is, all she knows is that since late last Sunday night she has felt pretty awful with a congested cough, congested nose and sinuses, joint aches, headache, and at times a very low grade temperature - no more than 99.3 so far, but down to low 97s. It has gotten worse rather than better as the days passed, but mom has continued to work and take care of us through it. She's pulled all the stops out to try to get this thing better - aspirin, decongestants, antihistamines, herbal rememdies. (2) Mom and Aunt Linda have a busy weekend planned which mom is going to try to persevere through - she just wishes the weather would cooperate. Besides this being their regular shopping weekend (every 2 weeks), they are going to the Animal Fair in Tucson Saturday - Shelby, our dog, gets to go, too! Sunday they are signed up to volunteer at the Petsmart Walk from 11A to 3P. Shelby can't go to this because they are volunteering. Heads up from Mom - Target stores have both the new Harry Potter Movie and last year's Star Trek movie DVDs on sale for $9.00 through tomorrow - so, if you haven't purchased them yet, what are you waiting for?!
Would you believe most of us kitties are sleeping - again! Tigger, me (Sweetie Pie), White Knight and Garfield are asleep on the bed. Punkie is asleep under mom's 'puter desk, and Audrey is asleep under the bed. Mom plans on giving us a wet food treat shortly -- see how quickly we can wake up then!!

Sweet little Ditto #153054 was a gift to his Mom Joanne just over nine months ago, to help her through the very hard time of her beloved Frisky crossing the Rainbow Bridge.
Ditto’s claims to fame are jumping up on the draperies and tearing them down – well, he is a kitteh, after all! More importantly, however, is that he helped to heal his Mom’s broken heart. Ditto’s motto is: “Never waste a good lap.”
Now, Ditto has been beset by very serious medical problems, including hyperthyroidism, and now fluid around the heart. Right now he is on new medications to try and give him a little more time to spend with his Mom and kitteh brother Eddie. As of today, since beginning the new meds, Ditto’s health has not changed; and the vet said as long as it does not worsen, to keep him on the meds for at least another week. If he worsens, then a very difficult decision will need to be made, so his Mom is anxious and worried for her Ditto.
Won’t you please stop by Ditto’s page #153054 and leave a votey towards a COTD Badge on Saturday, Feb. 20? We know this support from you wonderful CC kittehs will help cheer his Mom, who loves Ditto so very much.

Good day to all...
well I am back to catch up on some blogs my friends. So much goin' on around and all 'til I just don't know which way is which. We have had some of the coldest and worst weather in years. So cold, and snow just about every weekend or so. Mommie has been very distraught over the whole thing. She is anemic so it hurts her whole body when it is so cold. No new roof yet either. One thing because of the weather, and then too Poppie's brother-in-law said the way we were gonna have it done would not support heavy weight good, like alot of snow or rain. So the bro'-in-law will do it and put up posts. Some one will have fun crawling under the front and back porch to dig a 2 foot hole and carry cement to pout in it too for the posts. Well, Poppie celebrated his 45th purr-day on the 11th with a nice get together and all. Valentines day was very nice too. Me and my ferrety friend got some treats, Mommie got a nice dinner out and Poppie got a nice gift as well. I am doing well these days. I lay in front of the heater to stay warm and toasty. Mommie even got me a special blankie to lay on in front of it too. Well, gotta get off of here because Momie has to go to the store and by the pharmacy too to pick up some meds. Hope you all have a great week.

Kittzi Knight showed up with her baby Sylvr Tuff, estimated to be about 3 months of age. Kittzi let Sylvr know this was where they would live from now on! As the months passed by, Sylvr Tuff Knight & her cat mom Kittzi, not only settled into the Knight routine, they learned to love playtime with Mom Lillian, developing enough trust to let Lillian take them both for their big girl surgeries.
Sylvr Tuff Knight is the youngest member of the Knight outdoor all Girl Power Crew (GPC) & true to her being a kitten, loves to play! Knight Mom Lillian plays toss, pounce & fetch with Sylvr Tuff #160205 at least twice a day, even in the rain. Knight Mom tosses a toy & Sylvr pounces, Mom fetches & the game continues!! MOL!! Sylvr now comes to the patio everyday where Mom Lillian keeps a small green basket of toys on the ground where they stay dry. Sylvr will paw at the toys, snatching one by one out, throwing them up in the air, ready to pounce on them when they fall to the ground. Sylvr loves to play! Sylvr’s fur mama, Kittzi sometimes watches & when Mom Lillian isn't outside to play, Ktitzi will play with Sylvr on the patio, showing her how to climb all over the kitty tree condos! As you can see, the entire Knight Family knows how to have kitty fun! It is such a pleasure to do something nice like a COTD catpaign for such a wonderful CC family of amazing rescue cats! We all know the daily prayer blogs & list kept by Rhoamin Knight, not to mention the love & concern the Knights have provided to cats on CC going back to the “early days” of the CC community.
