How We Met
I went out to Greenhill to see a cat and adopt it that was on tv that looked just like a cate that had renal failure that I had to have put down and while waiting for Greenhill to open a little boy was holding this cute black and white kitten, I seen the kitten and we put her into my cat carrier then the little boy got my sister, liter-mate and mom put her into the carrier to, Mom didn't see the third kitten or our mom. We left Greenhill for a new life with mom.

Friday 11/2/2012 RAINBOW SCOOP ~
From the cloud of the Angel Sherman…Surprise campaign today for beautiful little ANGEL MINNOW #211385! This precious furbaby was just starting to enjoy life when a fire broke out at the family home that took the lives of all the animals on a cold January day. This precious angel would have had a wonderful life to look forward to since she was adopted by a family that thinks black kitties are overlooked too often. Sadly for us she heard the calls of the angels at the tender age of 8 months & flew up to the clouds to take her place among them. We’d like to ask all of you to help us honor this precious furbaby’s memory today so please pounce by & paw a vote onto ANGEL MINNOW’S #211385 cloud on Friday November 2nd so that her star can burst into happy brilliance tomorrow night as she’s awarded a shiny new badge.

From the cloud of the Angel Sherman…SURPRISE CAMPAIGN FOR ANGEL TIGER #34768! This precious angel has been a quiet member of our community for over 5 years but doesn’t have any badges on her page & very few visitors. She was adopted shortly after her mother had crossed the rainbow bridge when she was just a young kitten. She lived for many years in her happy furever home until the angels called her home on August 1st of this year. She & her family are not ‘regular’ bloggers but they’ve been seen congratulating winners recently so we’d like them to know their efforts to be part of the community have not gone unnoticed. From the cloud of the NICE Angels…Beautiful Nala #144744 was the first cat to ever grace the home of the ARL Alumni but it would never have happened without the begging of young son Erik & the presence of a cat at his babysitter’s house. Nala #144744 made such an impression on mom that soon the house was filled with purrs of love from other furry furbabies & their lives without felines became a distant memory. As many of you know Nala #144744 became an angel at 12:34pm on August 29th, 2012 but some of you may not know that her beloved master Erik was away at Marine boot camp when it happened. When he called mom to tell her the good news about completing it & heading home, he naturally asked about his special cat. Mom shared the heartbreaking news with him but he doesn’t know that she’d asked us earlier to do something special for him by doing an ACOTD campaign for his beloved kitty when he got here. We’re asking everyone to please run, pounce or fly to paw a vote to ANGEL NALA #144744 on Friday October 5th. It will not only honor her memory but will also honor the service to our country of Erik, one of our newest Marines!

From Duckies Desk: ANGEL WEMBLY #72038 has been a CC member for 4 years and 10 months yet doesn’t have the honor of a shiny badge on his page. ANGEL WEMBLY #72038 is a very handsome Himalayan that was given to his mom by her boss after she lost her 17 year old Persian. We know that he brought a ray of sunshine back into her broken heart so that makes him very special in our eyes. ~Surprise Angel Campaign for ANGEL DUSTY #230326~
From Duckies Desk: ANGEL DUSTY #230326 was born to another cat in the house and he made sure he wrapped his paws tightly around his pawents hearts so that they’d never give him up. He never meowed even once his entire life, even though he’d often try. When he opened his mouth only an occasional squeak would come out and that was only if he was annoyed about something. This ‘handicap’ made him very special and adorable to his furless family so they kept him in their happy home until he crossed the bridge on 5/11/2012. He’s been a member of the CC community since March 2012 and has close to 300 votes, yet something is missing from his page that all kitties yearn for at least once. ~Surprise Angel Campaign ~ ANGEL SNEAKERS #18344~
From Duckies Desk: Precious and beloved SNEAKERS #18344 became an angel sometime in August 2006, but we’re unsure of the exact date. This sweet kitty made an impression on his entire neighborhood when he was on earth and was ruler of the area. He brought home presents for his family ranging from snakes and mice to squirrels and rabbits. People from blocks away referred to his furever mom as "Sneaker's Mom". His unexpected arrival helped fill a small part of the void put there by her youngest daughter’s death yet he didn’t ask for much in return. We’re inclined to believe he was sent by the angels to help mend her broken heart with his soft purrs of love. In honor of this special angel we’re asking that the entire community run by to paw an ACOTD vote to ANGEL SNEAKERS #18344 on Friday August 24th so that his mom will know we’re still thinking about both of them even though 6 long years have passed.

~Surprise Angel Campaign~ ANGEL OSCAR #234290~
From Duckies Desk: ANGEL OSCAR #234290 is a very quiet cat on CC and rarely gets visitors, but that doesn’t make him any less special in our eyes. This precious angel was born at the home of the grandparents of his young profile owner after his mom was abandoned at their house. He was the only kitten in the litter that grandma kept so we know he had some special magnetism that made her choose him over the other 3 fursibs. Grandma had him for a long time before the grand kids started yowling that they wanted a cat of their own. Grandma was a sweet lady so she graciously let the family take him to their home. After a while he got homesick so the family returned him to grandma’s house. He was happy to be back in familiar surroundings but one day he was out and got hit by a car. He wasn’t called to the angels that day, but perhaps the shock to his system was too much for this sweet kitty to contend with because a few months later he crossed the bridge. Please take a minute out of your busy day Friday to stop over and paw an ACOTD vote to ANGEL OSCAR #234290 and let him know that he’s not forgotten. ~Surprise Angel Campaign August 10th~
From Duckies Desk: Hear ye, hear ye…we’ve found another angel that’s been a member of our community for almost 2 years and still doesn’t have that first elusive badge. We’ve gathered all of the angels together and are sending our loudest meows across the community as we fly over asking all of you to stop by to visit ANGEL KOKOMO #187218 Friday so he can earn his own day in the spotlight. This handsome Siamese kitty celebrated his 15th birthday on September 9, 2011 and was called to the angels one week later on September 16. ~AUGUST 3rd SURPRISE ANGEL CAMPAIGN~
From Duckies Desk………….We found a precious angel that has been a member of CC for 5 years and 10 months that still has hasn’t gotten his first badge. ANGEL RAJAH #3097, whose name means King in Hindu, had many health issues during his life. Though he suffered with chronic U.T.I., diabetes, asthma, and arthritis, this sweet kitty never let them keep him down for long so that he could continue his dominant rule over the other kitty sibs and dog in the house. RAJAH #3097 finally lost his battle with illness on January 30, 2008. He fought like a trooper but things were too hard this time and he went to sleep peacefully in his mom’s arms wrapped in his favorite fleece blanket.
Please help us honor the memory of valiant ANGEL RAJAH #3097 on Friday August 3rd by pouncing to his page and giving his vote button a good whack so that we’ll be able to see his star become the most brilliant in the heavens tomorrow night as he celebrates finally earning that first ACOTD badge.

Their future Mom caught Sweetie Pie first. Darling Girl took a few more days, and her Mom was so worried because she knew she was pregnant. Darling Girl had her kittens a few days later. We love doing surprise campaigns for our precious CC angels and today we’ve found one that is very quiet yet remains actively involved with daily activities across the channel. ANGEL MEI-LI #41771 was brought to her new forever home from a pet shop a long time ago. Her parents had stopped to ‘just look’ at the sweet fur babies but after seeing them they started thinking they needed a fur baby in their lives. While they were looking around and deciding which one would be best for them, the mom felt someone pat her arm. When she turned around to look who was trying to capture her attention she saw a beautiful Siamese girl and knew this was the perfect choice. MEI-LI #41771 lived a happy life with her family until that fateful day on April 28, 1998 when she was called to the heavens. Though she’s been gone 14 years now this precious kitty still holds a special place in her family’s hearts. She received her last COTD badge on 3/8/08 so we think she’d really appreciate another one after waiting so long. ~Surprise angel campaign for ANGEL BUDDY #99013~

Today’s precious angel has had his paws full lately with welcoming new angels to the clouds, celebrating his birthday on 6/10, and also keeping his mom, kitty brothers and canine brother safe as they move from New York to Texas. ANGEL BUDDY #99013 came into the lives of his family on September 6, 2007. He was the sweetest boy and dearly loved his new brother Sylvester and also quickly became fast friends with Jinx. He left this earth on 8/22/08 after having a sudden seizure so he never had the privilege of meeting his other 2 brothers, who were adopted from the Cat Coalition a month after he became an angel, but we know he’s protecting them just as he does the rest of his loving family. We will never know what happened or why God called ANGEL BUDDY #99013 home at such a young age but we are comforted with the knowledge that all he knew in his short life was love, playing and cuddling. From Duckies’ Desk: Have you met Angel Lily, # 3472? This beautiful rag doll has been a member of CC for 5 years, 8 months and has nearly 600 votes, but has no badge on her page. She’s apparently a very quiet kitty that has eluded our radar in the past because the account is recently active and we’d like to let her know she’s not been forgotten. When she was earthbound this beautiful girl loved to chase anything that flew. Butterflies, birds and houseflies were just a few of the flying ‘pests’ that she’d pounce after in her zestful pursuits of fun. She also took great pleasure in her fluffy cat teaser and her crunchy balls, which she also loved to fetch for her mom. She enjoyed the life of a spoiled rotten kitty. She had her own room with windows that was also decorated with posters of cats and other animals, a cozy bed and blanket, and lots of her own toys. Not only that but she also got to eat Fancy Feast every day and romp in the family’s back yard. Not too bad of a life for a kitty and one we’re sure she appreciated. We don’t know when LILY #3472 became an angel but we pray her crossing was a peaceful one and that the memories she created with her family will be held dear to them for eternity. From Duckies’ Desk: This Friday is a “Special Day” and we are asking everyone to remember an Angel on this day. Please go by and visit an Angel kitty on Friday. From Duckies’ Desk: Have you met Smoke’s Angels, # 226582? Smoke’s Angels is a page dedicated to the loving memory of a group of Kitties that have touched the lives of a loving and caring family for many, many years. All Of these kitties are angels now and all but one of them found this loving family. Although this touching story did not start with Smoke he knew all the kitty's that will eventually be on this page. He reigned supreme in the family’s house for 18 years. Most of these Angels have crossed the bridge In the last 10 years and it has been very difficult to say goodbye to so many babies in such a short time. All now reside in the family’s Kitty Cemetery. Although this page is dedicated to the memory of several Angels it is named in memory of Smoke. Smoke came to his forever family in 1989, missing an eye and had a terrible ripped leg, they think a large bird had gotten hold of him but somehow he got away. Smoke bonded with his family instantly and found a deep love that would span 18 years. Smoke’s family miss him dearly and Smoke still loves his special family very much. ~SURPRISE ANGEL CAMPAIGN~
From Duckie’s Desk : We’ve found a very quiet CC angel that we’d like all of you to meet today. ANGEL CHARLIE #228603 made an impact on the lives of the family that came to his rescue (more than once) during his short stay on earth. ANGEL CHARLIE’S #228603 life was not blessed until he met the compassionate family that took him in when he was neglected by the other humans that found him in a back alley beside his already an angel mom cat. For the short time that he was an indoor cat he played happily and rejoiced that he’d finally found some happiness in his life. All too suddenly it was discovered that he was a very sick kitty that never had a chance because of being malnourished since he was born. The loving family that cared for him made the heart wrenching decision to let him cross the bridge so that his life of suffering would finally end and peace would welcome him. We think the community will agree wholeheartedly that this handsome angel deserves to earn his first badge after all he went through in his earthly life. We feel it would be an honor for his faithful caretaker family to see his star twinkling brighter than all the rest Friday night so let’s all pull together and make a special moment for them to cherish as much as they did him. ~SURPRISE ANGEL CAMPAIGN~
From Duckie’s Desk : ANGEL PEANUT #193834 has been a member of CC for a year and 5 months but is very quiet and had gone virtually unnoticed until we ran across his page searching for a deserving angel to honor. ANGEL PEANUT #193834 was found not neutered and starving after being dumped by someone when he was 4-6 years old. He was accepted into the home of a very caring family that took him to the vet for care and made sure he was loved and appreciated from that day forward. ANGEL PEANUT #193834 was a good cat that adored his grandpa and they shared a special bond until GP passed away. This sweet boy will always hold a special place in his mom’s heart because he was so sweet and adoring to her dad. He enjoyed a good life on earth once he was rescued from the streets, but was diagnosed with cancer late in 2010 after his family noticed he’d quit eating. He joined his special human friend on November 30, 2010, so we can picture him purring contentedly on the lap that he loved the most and we’d like to show our respect for that special bond by helping him get his first badge. ~SURPRISE ANGEL CAMPAIGN~
From Duckies Desk- Have you met ANGEL LACY #75646 was a champion mouser on earth and still enjoys chasing the ones that scamper around the clouds! Her mom rescued her from a life of kittens and fleas after finding her in a woodpile and bringing her inside. She was fixed and put up for adoption but the one family that was interested quickly returned her because of what they considered aggressive behavior. ANGEL LACY #75646 was actually only a biter when she was scared or stressed so her mom worked with her and showed loving patience as this beautiful girl adjusted to the noises and activity that happen inside a house. ANGEL LACY #75646 wrapped her furry paws around her mom’s heart and lived with her until she became an angel on 12/2/08. She got her first badge on 3/28/09 but doesn’t go visiting very often so we’d like to help her earn another one with help from all of you. ~Surprise ACOTD for ANGEL JAKE #142474 ~
From Duckie’s Desk: ANGEL JAKE #142474 is a very quiet angel on CC these days but is remembered as the sweetest cat in the world by his loving family. He was the icing on the cake of life for them when they saw his handsome face in the pet store, and they happily added him to their multi-cat household without a second thought. JAKE #142474 became ill near the end of 2009 and received his first COTD badge on 12/26/09, thanks to the outpouring of love for him as he celebrated his birthday the day before. He was scheduled for surgery the following day to find out why he was so sick, so while the family waited and hoped, all of CC prayed for him and his family. Apparently the angels needed a special boy like SWEET JAKE #142474 to join their ranks though because the diagnoses came back as terminal lymphatic cancer. His family and friends were devastated by the news and knowing they couldn’t let him suffer any longer, the family made the very difficult decision to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge on 12/29/09. ANGEL JAKE #142474 is now spreading his benevolence down on all of us and we’d like to honor him Saturday by helping him get an ACOTD badge to adorn his cloud so he knows he’s not forgotten just because he became an angel. SURPRISE ANGEL CAMPAIGN for 4/20~
From Duckies’ Desk: ~Have you met ANGEL ANGEL #133708? She is a kitty without a badge on her page so we’d like to surprise her with a special campaign Friday and need your help to complete this secret mission! This sweet kitty was trying to find a safe place in a neighborhood with her 3 kittens but was having problems with people chasing her away. Her soon-to-be furever mom saw this and started putting food by her garage every day to show her that not all people were unfriendly to cats. ANGEL #133708 got so used to the idea that she went inside the garage and discovered that loving humans did exist and she’d found the purrfect one. She was taken to the vet for shots and spaying so she knew in her little kitty heart that this home was hers to call her own. ANGEL #133708 joined CC in April 2009 and was called to the heavens at the end of November 2011. She’s still missed by her sweet mom, her adopted older sibling Giovanni, as well as doggie sibs Aussie and Rowdy from DC. From Duckies’ Desk: Have you met Angels Buster and Louie, #210737? Once or maybe twice in someone's lifetime a cat will come along who not only steals your heart but holds onto it forever. This was the case of Buster and Louie and describes the bond that these two lucky kitties had with their forever family.
Louie was found half crawling in the middle of the street. His eyes were so infected they were swollen shut, and his nose was so blocked he had to struggle to breathe. He was given antibiotics for his respiratory infection and antibiotic drops in his eyes. He slowly got better but his eyes were so infected his family was afraid he might lose his sight. He was lucky, though. His eyes got better but his left eye was always a little weepy.
Buster’s mama was abandoned in the neighborhood while she was pregnant, and had her kittens under a neighbor's house. She moved the babies to their forever family’s yard and behind the barn of another neighbor. Buster’s future family had already begun to feed his momma and she was starting to trust them. Buster had found his home!
Louie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on April 28, 2011, and Buster crossed on March 16, 2011. Angels Buster and Louie would love to send their family a special gift on Saturday, April 14th. From Duckie’s Desk: Have you met Angel Markus, #219297? Markus crossed the Beautiful Rainbow Bridge on November 14th, 2011. Since that time Angel Markus has taken a very active part in welcoming Kitties across the Rainbow Bridge and showing them the great love that he experienced in his lifetime. Markus was dropped off at an animal shelter and being a perfectly healthy kitty he was taken in by a loving family who fell in love with this beautiful young male cat. Markus was a very happy cat and he felt his forever families love every day. Markus was very playful and had a life filled with everything a kitty could ever want! Markus developed an intestine problem that would take his life at the age of 11 years. Angel Markus said goodbye to his family in November of 2011. From Duckie’s Desk: ANGEL MISS FRAIDY #134734 was called to the heavens early in February of this year but is such a quiet kitty on CC that very few people were even aware that she crossed. ANGEL MISS FRAIDY #134734 lived with her forever family since she was rescued from a local shelter in Tucson, AZ. She was so tiny and precious that her cat loving family couldn’t resist her golden eyes and tender mews when they met her. She was 8 weeks old and a mere 1.8lbs when she was adopted, but this tiny girl thrived because of the kindheartedness her family had to offer. Lots of love, gentle care, and a very contented family life kept ANGEL MISS FRAIDY #134734 on this earth until the age of 13, when she passed away in her sleep at her family home. She is survived by mom Shirley and dad Jeff as well as kitty sibs, Sienna, Winslow, Alexi, Lucy, Shadow, Cheyenne, Angel and Max. You can read how much she’s missed by her family by the blog that was put on her page the day after she crossed. Please take time to read it, for it will touch your heart and bring tears to your eyes when you realize the loss they still feel to this day. Please help us honor the memory of beautiful ANGEL MISS FRAIDY #134734 by going by to paw her vote Friday, March 30th, so that she can earn her very first badge posthumously on her page. From Duckies’ Desk: This 19 year old beauty of an angel received her 1st badge in May 2010. Since she and her family are so actively voting for others each day we think it’s high time that we acknowledged one of them so we’re doing a SURPRISE ANGEL CAMPAIGN for her. In her younger years ANGEL PAW PAW #173249 was a tail chasing tornado that made herself so dizzy at times that she fell over. That didn’t stop her though. A couple of minutes of sitting and she was ready to go again. Even as an angel this happy girl continues to spin her way into our hearts with her sweet purrsonality and compassion for others. Spring is Officially Here at the Beautiful Rainbow Bridge! The warm weather is here and the trees and flowers are all in full bloom! From Duckies’ Desk: We’ve found a beautiful angel that’s been a member of CC since May 2010 to present to you today. ANGEL JASMINE #179456 is patiently waiting in the wings for that first COTD badge to adorn her page. Let’s pull together and see if we can make it happen because ANGEL JASMINE #179456 and her sib are often seen going by to offer their congratulations when others win their badges. This angel gets her name from the lovely tropical plants and shrubs that are native to Eurasia and many other places across the globe, including the US. Angel KayCee #144698 is a beautiful Siamese angel that is very good about helping others earn their special badges on CC. What you may not know is that her doggie brother, Takoda (DC#12316), is often running on DC which means many of you may have met this family and never realized they were related. ANGEL KAYCEE #144698 was a very playful cat when she was on earth. She often played with balls, bowls and pipe cleaners before heading to her beloved dad’s lap for a gentle pet before falling asleep. She was also a fish-aholic that would consume any kind of fish that was presented to her….or that she could snatch off of the table. Rainbow Bridge Scoop * 3/2/12
From Duckie’s Desk: On Wednesday, February 29th, 2012, a large group of Rainbow Bridge Angel Kitties were on hand to welcome our newest Angel across the Beautiful Rainbow Bridge. Snowflake #211879 crossed the Rainbow Bridge peacefully Tuesday night. She had her dinner and played for a while with Andy, Milo, and Jason before going to sleep. Angels Duckie, Kay, Larry and Rambo escorted her across the Rainbow Bridge early Wednesday morning. Her family is heartbroken. Snowflake was only one year old.

From Duckie’s Desk: Have you met Angel Mittens, #193887? Mittens was found in a box of kittens at a garage sale. This beautiful orange ball of fur grabbed hold of her future forever Mom’s heart and never turned loose. Mittens was always a playful kitty and loved to chase a laser pointer and chase the family miniature schnauzer. Mittens formed a special bond with her family and was a very happy kitty. From Duckies Desk: Wow! The New Year is in full swing. The Mouse Hockey League is wide open with games being played on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday with many kitties attending each night. Voting is also continuing for the 2011-2012 class of the MHL-HOF! The Mouse Hockey League All-Star Game is only one week away. This will be an exciting game with the “Best of the Best” competing.
