COTD THUR 6/10 VOTE FOR RHUBARB 148388
>^..^< Please give a COTD VOTE of support on Thursday, June 10th to a sweet 8 year old kitty named Rhubarb #148388.
Rhubarb’s future Mommy saw her featured on the local TV news one Saturday morning. She was up for adoption from the SPCA. Her Mommy knew right then and there that she needed to bring Rhubarb home to join her family.
We heard that one of Rhubarbs favorite foods is ham and often she has her tail swirled around her dad as he opens the fridge door. Knowing that it is one of her favorites her Dad usually gives her a bite or three of ham but sometimes she has to use her chirps and tail swirls to “purr-suade” Dad to hand over his favorite. Currently Rhubarb is working on having her brother Spencer get the the ham for her. She thinks Spencer is purrsome and really appreciates his efforts.

Eagle came to his temporary home along with his half-sister for show and has since found a new, permanent home. While he was with his CC family, he would hang out on the cat trees gazing at the birds and chippies, lay around and play. He loves Royal Canin food and freeze dried chicken. >^..^<*~ Please give a COTD VOTE of support THURS., NOV. 19, to BeBop #121104, a Little Man that loves with his eyes! BeBop was born at Newcastle shelter. His real life began the day he was adopted. On 11/7/08, BeBop was visited by his soon-to-be parents, looking for 2 female kittens. Dad spotted BeBop, held him in his arms; it was love at first sight! Mom spotted Izzy who had just arrived, and she climbed right on top of mom’s shoulder. At last, BeBop & Izzy met their parents!
When BeBop & Izzy got home, it was amazing! BeBop had never seen carpet, the best thing ever invented for a kitty! He scurried from one end of the living room to the other, loving every minute! At first, BeBop didn’t like Izzy much, & she didn’t like him, but mom was patient. She held them both in her arms & told them “you 2 are going to have to get along so no more hissing.” After a few minutes, she put us down & no more hissing. In fact, BeBop & Izzy are like true devoted siblings now! They have their very own huge bedroom. Their parents got kitten supplies: A BIG covered litter box (mom had to put a box in front of it because BeBop was too little to reach it); a soft, furry bed for BeBop & Izzy to share; the yummiest canned cat food; & toys. The first night BeBop & Izzy slept together in the bed, & they’ve been best friends since. BeBop’s secret ~ he thinks he’s in love with Izzy. Since they’re not really brother & sister, that’s okay. On going to the Vet, they were surprised to find BeBop was a boy! After only 3 days, the love of this family was so tremendous, it didn’t matter. BeBop didn’t have the best start, & had to go back to the vet 4 times for medicine.
BeBop’s best toy was the “GALAXY”. Mom & Dad got 4 pop cartons & 1 box, cut 4 square holes in the big box & 1 in the top, taping the 4 pop cartons to it. Izzy being adventurous, checked it out first. When it was safe, BeBop started playing too. Every morning, mom would have her coffee in the dining room & the kittens put on the “Izzy and BeBop Show”, running in & out of the GALAXY, having a great time. BeBop is a Toyger, ~ his paw pads are furry, which makes great for sliding on floors! Now his favorite toys are the bird feather ones. A month ago came this HUGE box. BeBop helped mom put it together, along with Izzy. It didn’t take long for BeBop to realize it was a Cat Tree. Boy is it fun! BeBop claims the top condo as his & sleeps in the hammock sometimes. As a kitten BeBop meowed yet now when he opens his mouth, no sound comes out except sometimes a tiny “...ow”! However, his loving eyes speak for him.
