Hello! Today I am feeling much much better. My cough turns out to be just an allergic reaction to something in the air. Air... do we love it or hate it? Mol! Nothing much going on here. Mom is preparing lunch for herself and us. It's really cold here in Nebraska. Here, there are harsh winters and hot, steamy summers. Except I like living here in the crouded "big city" part of Nebraska because if your heater or AC gets broke, there always someone to fix it! Teehee. Well, have a happy Satuday! Sammy. Hello! Welcome to SSS, the news about us! We are EXTREAMLY sorry we haven't gotten back to you in 2 whole weeks! It's just been way too busy around here. SOPHIE: We got a couple new toys! We got a circle thing with a scratching post in the middle, and then on the sides there is a dip where a little green ball that lights up goes round and around. It's so fun! Then, we got this scratching thing with a spring at the top that holds a green fuzz ball and sttached to it are a bunch of little mice toys. We also got a whole bag of catnip and some spray catnip! Plus, we got Feline Greenies Dental Treats. We are some spoiled kitties! I hope I didn't brag too much! Hehe! Have a good Sunday! Hugs and a vote, Sophie. SQUERKY: Aww man! Sophie took all the good stories to tell. They're really fun toys! I wish I could go outside though. To feel the lush green grass on my paws and the outdoorsy smell. Ahhhh... I can smell it now. I think that catnip is getting to me. Just 5 more hours 'till the wet food.... you can do it Squerky. I hope I'm not turning into another Sophie. We saw what happened with her when she tried wet food! Well, second verse same as the first, have a good Sunday! Here's a vote! SAMMY: Not much to say today. It is cool this morning. Mom took us out & had to go back in & get a sweater tee-hee. We thought it felt good. Hi! I know it's pesky to get all those "Vote Someone For C.O.T.D" things because I myself delete those. But this is different. Sammy is my brother and my idol. He is there for me through thick and thin. From the move accross the state to getting Sophie in the family, he was there. He is a purebreed cat and isn't very popular since he isn't a former shelter cat. We always spend every evening giving each other a good groom. But it wasn't always like that. I remember when I finnaly found a home and was in the house, it was pretty stressful. Especialy when Sammy started spitting and hissing his head off. Hehehe! After a couple weeks of scratches and some very stressful moments, we had our first grooming session. After that moment, I knew I was safe at home. We have spent years and years with each other so we definantly had some fights. When Sophie came to the house, he acted the same way. Although Sophie hasen't completely adjusted yet, she has her nice moments with Sammy. Sammy is a very friendly cat and loves attention. Of coarce he is a talker, but not as much is me! MOL! Sammy would love to be Cat Of The Day, and I would love him being C.O.T.D too. So please go by his page and pass along a vote on August 1st so he can win C.O.T.D on August 2nd. We got to go out early this morning & the rabbit was out there.We sat & watched it & it watched us & then it moved & then the chase was on tee-hee.We didn't catch it but we did chase it out of our yard tee-hee.It was fun. We would have liked to keep chasing it but we stoped at our side walk cause we get time out if we get out of our yard so we were good cause Mom watches us like a hawk,I don't think she trust us maybe because a couple of times we went next door but she gave us time out so we learn our lesson. Brina & I have been playing chasing each other through the house & I ran & jumped on the back of the glider rocker & knocked it over & then Brina was runing & knocked over a table with a plant on it. We been giving Mom lots of loving & I think it helped her feel better tee-hee. This morning she got up & stepped where one of us had throw up on the living room carpet. We both feel ok so Mom thinks it was the hair balls causing it. Mom thinks it was me that did it cause I was couging & sneezing yesterday. I'm not telling & either is Brina tee-hee. Thank you so much for all your Prayers & votes while Mom was away & we couldn't blog you back. My Mom cousin passed away in Missouri & when her other Aunt heard about it she had a stroke & 2 days latter passed away in Ark. We feel so sorry for my Mom Aunt Jackie cause she lost a son & a sister in just a few days.She needs Prayers. Our Dad's Aunt is still frail and undergoing more tests. Her doctor still suspects cancer but has not found the source. We thank all of you who have offered prayers and support on her behalf.
