Education: Scarlett has achieved very much in her 4 years of life. She came into my life on 4/19/08. She belonged to my friend's stepmother who passed just over a year ago. After her passing, her husband could not care for Scarlett. He let her live outside for a year on his farm with no means of catching prey (she is declawed) and no upkeep. When she came to me, she looked huge and fluffy, but really, she was skin and bones, covered in layers of horribly matted fur. I brought Scarlett to the vet for an exam and got her shots and shaved. She feels SO much better and loves her new home. She is slowly beginning to gain some weight.

Yes, she shares her space with Taffie, Chai Chai, Louise, Murphy, Mitzy, Tina, Maggie Mae, Mya, Sly, Meisha, Bo, Ginny, Sweet Pea and Angel! Jaz was returned to the shelter for anxiety issues, including urine marking. She can often be found during the day in the cat tree or in a basket on her favorite blanket. Tell me about what's happening at your home. You're the lucky one to hear me vent! Every Fri or Sat. morning I being disturbed from my cuteness sleep by the landscapers! They have these big LOUD mowers and come right up to the condo! Then a few minutes later out comes the LOUD buzz of a weedwacker! How can a cat nap through all of that? Huh, I'm going to complain to management! THE "SCOOP"- VOTE ANGEL CANUCK #52906 TODAY!
From Duckie’s Desk: Memorial Day weekend at the beautiful Rainbow Bridge! The Angel Kitties took a well deserved holiday to pay tribute to the many fallen heroes of days gone by and to pray for our many servicemen who are protecting our loved ones around the world today. This was also a great time to enjoy a cookout and campfire that was attended by all Angels. Fishing, games and story-telling about family members was the order of the day that began with a grand breakfast and entertainment lasting well into the night. This was an exciting day at the beautiful Rainbow Bridge......... CEREMONY FROM SUNDAY EVENING!!This is such a special night for us Angels as we have gathered here at the top of Sunshine Mountain for some Angel friendship! Angels have been swimming, Rainbow sliding, and just kicking back sharing stories of loved ones & waiting for dark! We have a clear view of our loved ones, our sick friends and families in need! We each have a pouch of Angel dust to sprinkle into the gentle breeze! We are bowing our heads and clasping paws in unity as we send our prayers down- We are praying for EBBONNY #10703 to overcome the illness that has struck her body and for comfort for her Mom- prayers for Gabby #59885 who is not well and a special prayer for JAY JAY #78486 who has cancer!We pray for Angel Thing Two 27463 who's Mom is not well, but caring for her own Mom and a special prayer for her daughter who has recently had another surgery! We send well wishes to the Dad's of Angel Bandit #4765, Smokie #33353, & Inky Paws 28086 who are all recovering from surgery! Our friend Nipper who had to have teeth removed!! And for our newest Angel , BOOTSIE (SPONGEBOB # 72539) who crossed over yesterday!!And any other we have not mentioned! We give our thanks to the many who unselfishly gave their lives, for the freedom we enjoy today!! God Bless you all! And now Angels, let's pick up our Angel dust and blow it into the wind along with our many healing kisses and hugs~~~~~~here it~~~comes~~~!!!! Did you feel it below?? Look to the heavens and see us all twinkling and shining just for you!!! He takes morning strolls all around the campgrounds and loves to meet strangers. Woody is not scared of any dogs ~ he will stare them down! Please support WOODY #62009, a fluffy 4 yr. old tuxedo fella from Rainier, Oregon, with a COTD catpaign vote on Wednesday, May 14th! Among Woody's many other talents ~ he can turn on his Mom's touch lamp with his paw, he knows how to sit & box with his Dad for fun, and he has his parents trained to give him loving and then pour water so Woody can drink from the stream! Dear SCARLETT, ANGEL JUICE & ANGEL BOBBI! OMG! It is with total shock that I got on CC today to find little me, Fidel, in the COTD window of honor! I am humbled & grateful for your continued support & furiendship! My family & I were so moved by my selection as Mr. May, CC's COTM, we did not even imagine winning another special COTD honor. Mom scooped me up today and gave me tons of kitty kisses & tasty chicken treats to celebrate!! I am practically speechless! All I can meow is "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" while Che & Tonantzin shake their maracas! I quickly threw on my pizza chef hat and got busy in the kitchen.
