Nicknames: Formerly known as Clawdette, Molly,Molly Moo The Claw, Mama-mama, How many names can one kitty have?? She came in pregnant and had 5 pure white kits. She was spayed by the rescue and most of the kits have homes.

Education: She has transformed from a fearful stray to a very affectionate and loving housecat. For almost 2 years she had a job as a therapy cat and was living with an elderly friend, who was bedridden, but didn't want to be without a cat. She is back with us now, because her job is done. Mom is happy, because Molly is back for keeps. Honored COTD 6/04/09 as Clawdette, same cat and page#, we wanted to honor the name mom Edna gave her, because Edna was one of the original founders of our group, a group literally founded by a group of caring ladies sitting around a kitchen table.
My favorite tricks and treats are: Stare at mom until she finds us a treat. Take charge of the house! and Yogurt or real chicken, anything mom is having!
Where I hang out: In any sunny spot-- she loves windows.
My favorite grubs: Fancy Feast! The following are mom's favorites, because they're healthy!-- California Naturals, Wellness canned.
My pet peeves: Barney picks on her--gives the evil eye and pounces, when he is bored. Now you will have to behave Barney-- she is your forever sister! Molly has shown she can handle the boys and regain control of the household in less than a week!
What I love about my owners: She loves me so much. I came in with an injured eye and attacked her when she tried to help me, but she was so patient, she did not give up.
My cat hobbies: Sleep in mom's lap or on the bed. Sit in large sunny windows.

How We Met
She was a foster cat, found pregnant and with an injured eye in a bad neighborhood, under a drug dealer's porch. Our group is no- kill, so she was staying with us until she found the perfect forever home. Newsflash! Molly Moo/Clawdette was asked to serve as a therapy cat for a friend of mom's and founder of their rescue group. The lady has now had to go to a nursing home. She was bedridden for the most part, but had caregivers, who also welcomed the idea of a cat in her home. She wanted a cat to spend time on her bed and Molly Moo/Clawdette was perfect for the job to give purr therapy. She loves being a therapy cat and mom would also like to do some of this work with her. Her first job will be to visit her old friend Edna in the nursing home. Please keep Edna and Molly Moo in your prayers that this new transition will be smooth for both of them.
Now I see I never completed the update of Molly's life. Edna passed over the Bridge last Fall and Molly is home with us permanently. Lots of love all around!

Hi Molly Jean!
I hope your dear mom had a nice Mother's Day weekend! Ours went too fast, and Sunday the family drove a couple hours to Dad's Mom's to speend the day with her. Mom got to see biggest brother and his doggie, too; he came up to visit with the family. It was a nice day but a lot of driving. Mom was pooped when she got home.

Sounds like your mom had a pretty nice Mom's Day and ate lots of good food. My Mom tells me that some foods she eats doesn't agree with her either, but she'll suffer the consequences just to eat the yummy food she likes. tee hee. Silly Mom's, huh.
It rained pretty hard yesterday and this morning but the sun has come out now. Purrhaps your dear mom would let you come over and play with me sometime soon as I have a huge new cat stand.

Hi Molly & Fursibs
It is another cold day here. Burr. We are in the 50's and the sun is mostly behind the clouds, but it comes out sometimes. It is supposed to warm back up later in the week and we cna't wait.
Mom let us go outside, but we didn't stay out long, we came back in the house, we like it just a bit warmer. It is also kinda windy and we do not like that either.
Mom took the bus out today and went to Joann-Fabrics as they are having a 50% off Sumnmer sale and she bought some flowers to wrap around the sides and top of the trellis and also got some birdies to sit on it...mom did take a picture of it and will post it when she empties her memory card.
Mom has a head cold from the changing weather. She is taking cold pills for it, she sneezes a lot. I cuddle with her at night to keep her warm so she will get better faster.

a very happy mother's day today! janet is working, then once things are done when she's home, will be outback down on all 4's weeding trying to get through as much as she can before it starts to get to warm mid to later on this week as bugs will be out and she wants to sit out without them bugging her....says bug spray just won't work when black flies, gnats, noseums and mosquitoes are coming through the spray. sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

We had yet another pawsome day today. It was in the 70's and we got to outside when mom got up. There was a breezy wind, but not high winds, and lots and lots of sunshine.
Mom weeded her yard today and pulled everyone she could find and then she sprayed them so they won't grow back. Mom said if flowers grew as fast as weeds, her flowers would be in full bloom by now...MOL.
Mom is BBQing everynight now and we get to eat some too, our faves are pork chops and chicken, so mom usually makes a little extra for us...grilled food is the best.
Mom lets us stay outside til 8:30 or so then she brings us in and feeds us and we all go to sleep after that, me & Jesse sleep on moms bed with her.'

TGIF meows from the NICE Crew
Woohoo...Friday has finally arrived. Why am I so excited? Simple because Dad & the kids are home on the weekends so that means more Patchy attention time...MOL! I'm famous, or perhaps infamous, for jumping up on any available lap & kneading as hard as I can. I love showing them how much I love them...even if they do get a few minor puncture wounds...MOL!
Today is another sunny but warm day with some light winds blowing into the windows which mom opened up earlier. Outside girl Sassee is being very grumpy about anyone sitting in the master bedroom window & keeps climbing up to try smacking us. Mom has scolded her several times so hopefully she'll soon realize that we're not going to come out into her 'kingdom' & try to cause problems. Mom says it's the feral in her coming out again. Hmmm...let me whack at her mom. I hate that she hissed at me anyway so let me teach her a paw lesson she won't soon forget because I'm quite a bit bigger than she is. Darn...mom said no so I guess I'll have to be content hissing at her through the screen...SIGH!
Q Trixie is getting ticked off at her & has been chasing Fluffers around the house to work off her frustrations. The thing is that Fluffers is loving it...MOL! Zaboo is laying in the target window right now as if he's daring her to come back because he's even upset with her...& that takes quite a bit because he's so laid-back. Luckily Joseph ran interference & convinced Sassee to get away from the window but even he can't control her sassy catitude. Mom definitely named her right...MOL!
Well I've got to get pouncing because mom is trying to catch up some laundry & still needs to clean up all the dog fur in the family room where Sammie is shedding.
We're back into our 'normal' routine now so will be doing daily voting ONLY on Saturday & Sunday. Have a pawsome weekend & I'll meow at you again next week.

good morning!
it's clearing out finally after a cloudy start and it did cool off a bit more than expected for a while before warm-ing back up that afternoon. no rain at all, all stayed well to the north or west and south of new england. we're staying high and dry through the end of next week as janet saw the weather channel and now a few local stations are echoing the samething. janet walked pepper just after 5 this morning the big block, then went to the dr's for 8:15 to have 3 warts frozen off and is hoping that they'll dis-appear, not likley two of them stubborn! Sounds hectic. Are you excited though? We had some crazy days here too. I had my 5th birthday Sunday, Chloe was COTD on Monday & I was featured on FB's CC page yesterday. Kind of a laidback day today. Mom had an early doc appt. She had to do a 6 month blood workup because of her MS Treatment. It was a cuddle afternoon. We're leaving you today with a votey. It's wonderful to hear from you! How exciting a trip to Norway for mom! That must be so fun and exciting to plan the trip.
I have sad news from our family. ... our best doggie furriend Eddie crossed the Bridge yesterday. Mom and sis were puddles all day and couldn't go to work or school. Mom is still having some leaky eyes today. Her heart is broken. She will try to get me to hockey if she can feel up to it. I may just stop in to say hi.

I'm back, did you miss me??? We had no heat all weekend so mom stayed in her room with the oil heater and her electric blanket watching TV.
Our gas was off since late FRI night we guess. It was on FRI during the day, but we woke up on Caturday and it was cold in here, mom coulodn't figure out why...she checked everything and all the gas appliances would not work, so mom had no cooking gas either...she had to eat cereal and sandwiches all weekend.
DTE came this morning and figured out the trouble...the meter went bad, they said they installed it mover 20 years ago and it just quit working, so they took the old one off and put a new one on and now we have gas again...the man had to come up and light all moms pilot lights again, too.
Yesterday mom had to go back to the ER cause she is still blocked up..they gave her an emama and made her stay there until she went, so she was there for a ong time...did not get home until after 8pm, so mom was not in the mood to take us to hockey after all that mess.
It was cold all weekend, wouldn't you know caue we had no gas, it was only in the 30's with rain and dampness and no sun. Today it is 70* and sunny, but it is very windy out...we are in and out as we feel like going...mom left her back door open for us.

well it looks like spring has finally sprung here in georgia, right along with the storms they are callin for tomorrow. what a busy streak momma has had. with me as queen and now the dealership selling lots of cars and momma too busy to get with car deals to get lunch break and really tired by time she gets home. i have missed blogging and glad to be back visiting my friends.
gma has made an appointment with her doctor to see what she needs to do or change for her condition
momma bought bell pepper, jalapeno pepper and onion plants yesterday as well as a new catnip plant and some spicy galore basil and squash and cucumbers. will go for mater plants this weekend
momma got some little pills and nose spray from her doctor for her allergy and feels much better for now. just hope it holds. pollen is bad here now

Hi Molly Jean & Fursibs
I am doing pawsome today. Mom has TV on and I was snuggling with her on the couch, but now she is on her computer.
It is raining outside today. Mom opened the back door for us to see, so now we don't want to go outside. We do not want to get wet. I hate when that happens.
Yesterday was a nicer day, it got to 59* and it was partly sunny, but it was very very windy and mom was afraid our power was gonna go out. We got to go out and that wind messed up my fur.
Mom got us some new catfood, it is Friskies Good Mornings. We liked it, but we don't usually do breakfast, we eat dry all day and wet for dinner, mom just wanted to see if we would eat it.
I'm off to take a much needed rainy day nap. Have a pawsome afternoon!

How nice to hear from you. I don't know if we have met before, but we want to thank you for your kind words & prayers for mom. You sure are a pretty girl!! Back on CC – finally!! MOL & HKL!! Mom claims to have issues, but doesn’t she realize that if she can’t fulfill her secretarial obligations, then she should hire a temp?? Some moms, but what are we to do??!! Aunt Eileen came over last night & we watched Dancing With the Stars & no, mom & I didn’t make it on the show!! Mom tried to get me to dance to YMCA, but I would have none of it & stayed under the dining room table!! Mom is sooooo excited about next month with all the CC cat moms are going to get together – AQ Gracie’s mom, Aunt Debi; Gus & Olivia’s mom – Aunt Susie; Lady Dolly’s mom, Aunt Nada & K Mike’s mom, Aunt Teresa!! Everyone is driving to a central place to meet for lunch!! I only get to see Aunt Debi & Aunt Susie, but that’s OK, as long as mom brings me back a snack!! MOL!! Mom starts her new Bible study on the 17th with Pastor Prince’s book, “Unmerited Favor.” A couple from church will be leading it & mom is still praying for her & Aunt Eileen to be able to go to Los Angeles in November to see him speak. We will be having a cat show on April 20 & 21 & dad has no choice, mom told him that they are going!! I said OK, just so they don’t bring any furs home with them!! My Sam is still MIA, but that’s OK, I understand. I had a wonderful b’day & want to thank you for the good wishes & goodies. I got most of them, but mom got some too!! We have put up pics in my gallery of our Angels, since mom deleted their pages. Just tooooo much for her OA paws. She sees the orthopedic surgeon at the end of the month to see about those paws of hers. Purrhaps there will be shots (YIKES!! Glad it is her & not me) or PT, but we have our meds to take the edge of the paw pain & shoulder/neck/arm pain, & then of course my purr therapy helps!! The massage therapist is helping, but it takes time. Now if our computer would just cooperate!! Have a wonderful weekend. God bless. Well, Molly, I guess your Mom has to be the
one to decide what happens with Zeus. We know as well as you do that he is very special to her, but for now if she thinks that he needs to go to adoption events, then he will go. We do know that he will probably never like going and will never show well to potential adopters though. Yes, Rescues and shelters that are at the cat shows put some of the kitties in the cat show also. It's always nice to find out that they had to drop out of the show because they are adopted. They get a round of applause.
Day 4
Thank you for all your support and pushing my votey button. It really means a lot that you come by my page.
A household pet is defined as any cat not eligible to be entered in another class at the show. Yes, we have had purebreds in the household pet category they either had a disqualifying trait or no papers, etc. A registered purebred may be shown in one of three catagories: Kitten class (at least 4 months of age but under 8 months of age), Championship Class (8months of age or older and unaltered) and Premiership Class (8months of age or older and spayed/neutered)
Most cat shows are non-vetted and all entries must be free of disease, fungus and parasites and strongly recommended to be inoculated for protection against Feline Enteritis, Rhinotracheitis, Calici Viruses, and tested for FeLV.
I didn’t get any rosettes my first show. It is common for that but there are a few kitties that get rosettes their first show. I had just had my big girl surgery and was a little over 4 months old but hey my sisters never have been in any shows. Mom said she is very proud of me and I’m the best kitty in the show. She tells me that after every ring I go in. I am one lucky little kitty. Mom knows I was real nervous but I let every judge hold me and do whatever they did to me. Ok sometimes it wasn’t comfy. MOL
I hope some of you are getting excited and maybe a few might want to try a show. Everyone says always let you try up to 3 shows before calling it quits. My furriend Scooby Doo’s dad told someone to take her kitty into the bathroom and hold them on the sink like a judge would and tilt the head back to look in the eyes and teeth to help get use to that. He also puts on his swim suit and gets in the tub with all his kitties. They have 3 they show to help with baths and they get use to the water. Ok, I like to bath alone. MOL

So did Zeus' adoption plans with that man fall thru? That is very sad. It sounded so promising. He is a very handsome fellow. We hope he finds the purrfect home that he deserves. April is not one of Mom's favorite months as she is not a fan of those showers! Usually when April starts Mom is out in the garden turning over the soil and removing the rocks and getting ready to plant. Not this year. Leaving a vote. Peace & love. Have a purrfect evening. resources here
are at the senior center uptown, the jones library as they have help certain times of the day per each week and then usually they have somebody on the phone here for the state or fed. taxes. janet and her parents take everything to a cpa over in hadley and let them handle the mess. mom's appt. at the orthopedic went well and she's already starting gentle exercises as well as keeping it out of a sling for a few periods each day and all night and janet's car is back so she might go to northampton to see about getting another pair of birkkies to replace her old ones which are now down to the cork bases and not good! sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

Hi Molly & Fursibs
Well, mom is still feeling pretty ill. She is in her kitty jammies, but she said she will probably get dressed and go to the ER later if you tummy troubles persist. She was awake all night last night with pain and only a few hours sleep. I guess it's good mom is not working right now.
We are a bit chilly today, it is 44* according to the Weather Channel, but mom's laptop weather says it is 37*...so who do you believe?
Them Wings are doing well. They beat Phoenix last night 3/2. Kelsee is so happy. Anaheim and Phoenix both thought playing them was gonna be a 'walk in the park' according to the announcer, but he said the Wings sure proved them wrong and now they realized they are a team to be reconed with.
Yesterday mom was so disappointed...she turned on TV wanting and expecting to see "MacGyver" on Cloo for the Monday marathon, but instead of him they were airing "Psych"...mom hates that show and thinks it is so retarted. Why show that?
Oh no, what did that UPS man bring mom?? We watched with anticipation as she opened the large box <we knew it was gonna be ours>, and then she started taking parts out of the box and then --are you ready for this? Mom got another floor monster, this one isn't as loud and it is really nice. It is a Eureka Upright that has a Hepa Filter and a hose and all kinds of attachments to clean floors, curtains and furniture and NO bags...mom kinda likes that idea. She has to replace the filetr every 6 months and the belt when it wears out.
Well, mom ended up NOT going to the ER. She got lost downtown and gave up and caught another bus home. people are not too nice and mom doesn't trust very many men...one offered to drive her to the Medical center, but mom was very leery, so she just said no....she is gonna wait and see if she can get a ride with a friend so she doesn't have to go alone.

Hi Molly & Fursibs
How are you this fine Monday? We are alright. just keeping momma company is all. Mom stayed in her jammies all day cause she did not feel like getting dressed and she had no place to go anyway.
It's been a mixture of wet snow and freezing rain all day today. Supposed to be cold and nasty all week long. Tomorrow mom has to take Jesse to the Vet for his distemper shot. I don't think he knows it yet. I was on the couch with mom when snhe called the Vet for the appt.
We changed all our profile pix and avatars for the Easter Season now. Working on the Avatars is kinda hard, but we took out time and we each did our own and we think they look kinda nice...what do you think?
I went and put up the schedule for WED night already. I am hosting again. I can do that as long as KCK has no game, it would kinda hard for me with us playing, maybe after I get more experience I can do it. Plus there's only 4 games, so it will be easier for me.

I have my paws crossed for Zeus: I hope and pray things will work out for the best for him. Hope it's a great forever home for him; if not, I think mom would sense it. Our rescue group here actually contacts the adopter's vet; does your group do that? They are very, very strict. When the pawrents adopted my little dog, it was the hardest test they have ever had to pass and they had to go through two interviews and wait 3 weeks to hear whether they were approved.

good morning!
janet walked early on and started blogging right before she left on her walk, then once home she had breakfast as well as struggling to get email/fb done which she has and has found a lot of friends from the survivor group again and has told them she's not going to rejoin, but wanted all to be her friend again as they were super special for her! well it's clouded over and only near 40 again today as it was clear as a bell when janet walked and saw the sun come up from middle street halfway home and it was so pretty! now nat's at work till 1 and master will be going out as janet's going to precook the meal for tomorrow so it just has to be warmed up as well as making soda bread. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

I am so glad to hear your mom is feeling healthier and I hope she keeps feeling good! I just know things will work out for the best for Zeus and if this man has the right home situation, it could be a good opportunity for him. K. Barney today but we saw your message on the CMR, and we read about your Mom wanting to paint but not being able to open windows. Tell your Mom that she can buy paint that has no VOCs (Volatile organic compounds) and you don't need to have the windows open with it. Mom won't buy any other kind now! Don't buy one that says "low VOCs", get one with NO VOCs. Mom only buys Dutch Boy now, and she doesn't have any problem with headaches or breathing when she paints now. I wanted to come around and meet you Molly and say 'hi'. King Barney said we were every so alike, and yep, he right, we are!! I just love your life story, and what a wonderful thing you did being a therapy kitty to all those people who needed love and company - I am so proud of you.
I'm happy you are now at home furever though and you have a fantastic family.
Gosh, the white stuff is coming down like bileo here in the UK today, looks like we're in for at least 6 inches. How's the weather with you Molly?

Happy Groundhog Day
Just dropping by with a vote for all three of our friends, just leaving the blog here.
Mom & Grandma are getting ready to watch the Super Bowl and cheer on our local guys, the 49'ers. . They're not huge football fans but will watch this one. They're more into baseball and noticing that the pitchers and catchers will be reporting in a few days. How time flies! Doesn't see like it's over four months since baseball season ended! Mom subscribes to XM Satellite Radio during the Baseball Season so we can follow the Dodgers, her team. She never did like the Giants, something to do with a school girl crush on Sandy Koufax ( a handsome devil!) and several incidents of rude treatment from the Giants services in the past.
