How We Met
Someone threw him in a garbage dumpster behind where I previously worked. A co-worker discovered him and I brought him home to later find out that he's blind.

Crossed the Bridge 5/17/2010 @ 1:35 PM
He was deeply loved and will be missed. He crossed after suffering with chronic illness. Rusty was brave until the end and an inspiration to all he touched.

pulls up to the Rainbow Bridge, and 3 footmen disembark. Two of them blow a fanfare on their horns while a third unrolls a red carpet. the helmemts come off to reveal zoe monique, cyndee, kuzi, kiska, vika, mallow, q.lola, ammie, dasher, talley, and thunderfoot all the Hairballz rainbow riders.
on the back of the bikes are flags representing their two lost honorary members, doodlebug and yum yum
they all pull up with a bunch of happy birthday balloons filled with treats, and some premium catnip they dig out of their saddlebags .
