Hi Princess and the Jersey Gang,
I asked Mom to go ahead and try to meow for me. Last week was such a roller coaster of a week, one that started on a huge high and ended on the lowest of lows. I am so very happy that my sweet Maggie enjoyed her surprise Birthday Pawty, then on her Birthday she and I ate ourselves silly and played with all her new toys, a marvelous day. On Tuesday she was not feeling so well so we lounged around and snuggled then the next day, what a glorious surprise, I was named the COTD!! I am so happy that my Maggie got to share that with me, she was so happy and proud of me. By the way, thank you for making it happen and for all the goodies you left for me. Then Thursday we got the devastating call from Mom Pat. I immediately went to Maggie's house and stayed with her and Mom Pat, I was not leaving my darling's side during her last hours. It was so hard to put forth a brave front for her. I have been heart broken and crying since. It seems unreal that she is not physically here any more. Though she comes down to visit with her angel dust which enables me to spend time with her over the bridge. It is so wonderful how all our angel friends are there taking such good care of her. Thank you for all your prayers, thoughts and kind words to both me and especially Mom Pat. That is my sweet Maggie in the picture with me on my page. I hope you are having a sunny, warm day. No baseball news that is worthy. Mariners keep signing veteran players inviting them to spring training. Hopefully one of them will gave the offense some help.
It is overcast and 35 degrees out with wind of 17 mph. The forecast is 30% of snow. I have been out for my walk this morning early. It is still too cold to stay out on the patio. I have been looking for something new to do. I am bored. The Mexican dinner was great and Mom is putting a picture of the food on my page this morning.
My coat chances color to match the area in which I live. When we were traveling in the southwest, my coat was a light color. However, here in Idaho my coat has turned darker as to match the dark color of the area. That is why my coloring is different in my pictures. The pictures of me in the tree were taken when I was about5 or 6 months old. Thanks for the comment on the Seahawks. No one gave them a chance. They play Chicago next week and they beat them earlier in the session. Games need to be played. Not expecting much from the Mariners this year. They have been signing veterns pass their prim. Although it would take only one to preform and they would do better than last year.
Sorry to hear about Dallas Green's granddaughter.
We awoke this morning to a thin covering of snow everywhere. The last couple of mornings we have had a beautiful sunrise. The sun rises around 8:00AM now. My pawrents left and went out for breakfast. I wear my walking jacket when we go for my walks. I have been out every day. There is a small dog who wants to play with me. I am not sure about that and I usually just glare at him. Mom hasn’t been feeling very well as her bladder infection has been acting up. We watch the Seahawks beat the Saints. It was a surprise as no one expected them to win. Tonight is the big bowl game and my folks are rooting for Oregon to win. While my pawrents were out this morning they were treated to the sight of small flock of cedar waxwings. We now have our wireless network back. Yes, there must be at least 3 stories on the Internet. I guess he wants to pitch in the NL. Mariners have been signing a bunch of low level players; if only one can hit it should help the team. They have no money to pay any one. We are between storms right now. The sun is out and it is in the high 40s and most of the snow is gone. Another storm is forecast for later this week. The snow is gone from the lower elevations of the mountains to east. It seemed forever this morning before I got my walk and time outside. My pawrents were gone most of yesterday and I didn’t get outside. It rain heavily rain most of the day and I didn’t even want to go out on the patio. Mom did some more decorating outside our door. It is all done in silver and looks out of place with all the red & green decorations. Mom registered for level400 today and glanced at the classes. It sounds interesting. Yes, I have been following the Lee story. I hope he signs with the rangers. I like their style attack. The Mariners had a great Memorial for Dave Niehaus yesterday.
It was foggy this morning when I woke my Mom up for my breakfast. It rain most of the night; there is still large piles of the white stuff called snow still around. I went out on the patio for awhile and then played with the bug chaser. Mom was crocheting on the scarf for her niece for Christmas. Later my Dad and I went for our walk and when we return there were strange objects in the hallway and a strange person at our door. I hiss all the way into the apartment. The weather is still cold out and there is about 2inches of snow in the colder areas. It freezes at night, but warms up during the day so that it melts. I have been outside every day; but I am ready to come back inside. I have been bored and looking for new things to explore. I started across computer disk. It upset Mom and I got moved off at once. I thought it would neat to knock all the little bottles off. We knock a few items off. Another storm is due in tomorrow with rain or snow.

The sad tropic this morning is Boise State lost last night. I enjoy your poem, interesting use of the original story. So glad Felix H won the Cy Young Award. The last I knew he has a long term contract with the Mariners. My secretary’s bladder infection flared up and my pawrents spent some time going for new medicine for her. She is better today so it seems to be working. I want to go outside until I get there. I stand on my Dad’s shoes it has been so cold out. This morning I touch noses with a dog that lives on this floor. We wanted to play with each other; but my Dad went the other way. Outside this morning was a lot of that white stuff coming down. After we got back inside and I had my rub down and food; I checked the patio out and that white stuff called snow is still falling. Mom brought turkey home from their Thanksgiving. I have had some every day. I know the turkey is in the refrigerator so I am right there to reminder her that I need some. The tomato plant is inside. Yes, I saw Roy Holiday got the Cy Young and Felix Hermandix got it for AL. I thought it was interesting that Sabbithia only got 3 votes. Was it a vote against the Yankees? Felix earned the award; but usually they don't give it anyone unless he has wins. He was ahead in so many of his games and the bull pen lost it or got the win.
Weather is still unstable with a cold front due to arrive next bringing snow to the valley. Mom has been having upset stomach so she has been taking it easy. Yes, I saw where the Yankees made a the move to sign Lee, he has stop there World Series chances the last 2 years. Dave Niehaus, the voice of Seattle mariners pass away. He will be miss.
Friday night my pawrents left and didn’t come back until later, Mom was playing pinochle and my Dad attend the football party. Boise State won again. Saturday morning it was 25 out and when we went for my walk it was still 30 out. We walk around the vacant lot; but I was ready to come inside. That afternoon my pawrents went to Mom’s brother house for a dinner. They came home after dark and were surprise to all the Christmas lights out. This morning I had to wait until late for my walk; it was raining but I still want to stay out. Mom had the towel ready and she dried me off as I really needed it. We picked 4 ripe tomatoes from our plant. I was surprise to see my video on CC already as my secretary didn’t get it loaded until late Friday. I don’t care for treats and meow my displeasure. I react the same way to catnip. I will gladly let anyone have my treats. Thanks for all the comments. Hi Princess & Family,
Now is the time to for Baseball awards. This morning we awoke to a nice sunrise. It wasn’t raining at the time. I got busy and convince my Dad to go out early. It started to rain so we came back inside. Now it is raining fairly well. My secretary has been busy for the last 2 days and I didn’t get to blog my friends. Friday a stranger woman came. She smelled of dogs and I decided to be friends with her. I showed her all my things and even climbed the tree as fast as I can. For some reason my pawrents wouldn’t let me grab her legs so I could marked her as a friend. She did a complete medical history on both of them. Yesterday my pawrents were gone most of the morning shopping and I didn’t get my walk until late. We went around the sidewalk and stopped by the chairs. I saw ducks in the drainage ditch and didn’t want to leave. Tomorrow there is a meeting to explain the changes in their medical insurance so I might not be in CC. The tomato plant is still alive and is now setting beside my tree. Mom and I went to Cat College this morning and took the first test. It was confusing with all the scientific names. Agree about the Yankees. did you notice Fox was so sure that the Yankees would be there that they used Yankee players in their ads. Hope Lee doesn't sign with them. No one else can afford him.
Out in my vacant lot the grass is starting to grow and it is about 2 inches and wet in the morning. I don’t like to get my feet wet so I tip toe around the area. My Dad sits his chair down and I lick my paws dried before I investigate the area. The sun is out this morning. Last evening there was an extremely gorgeous sunset. Mom tried to get a picture; but it won’t be as nice. Mom got a letter from her HMO that they were sending a Nurse Practitioner for an in home visit. She will be coming tomorrow. Mom has been spending some time at Cat College. She got careless and miss one question in October quiz.

Watch Out for Witches & Goblins
The Rangers are not out of the WS yet. It was still dark at 8:00 AM today. It was raining out. Last night I asked Dad to take me when he went walking. He surprise by taking me. We walk around the sidewalk to some chairs. This morning we went out early and I had another walk this morning onto the vacant lat. It has been raining since we return. Not a lot is happening here and all is quiet. Dad finally got the TV antenna working. It is sitting beside the TV now. I like to jump up on that side. We shall see what happens. The Gaints got to Lee last night. I don't think I would want to sign him a long term contract at his age. The Yankees can't handle him. It is overcast and very windy out. Dad said it was too cold out for a walk now and would wait until later in the day. I am not very happy about it; it is very cold out. The Halloween party was fun. A lot of people were dress up. The best costume was a clown. We had candy, popcorn balls, glazed doughnuts, caramel apples and apple cider. Someone had decorated the room & tables with Halloween designs. It has been long time but my Dad said it was not too cold to try a walk. The tomato plant spent the night inside and Mom picked a ripe tomato. Yes, the tomato is still alive, not doing much. It is a container plant and I move inside during our frost. too bad about the Philly losing. I am rooting for the Rangers.
It is has been raining for a couple days. I got a walk yesterday and time to explore before the rain started. I have checked out the patio several times today; but it still raining. Mom says it is suppose to rain for 2 more days. The higher elevations are getting snow. For those who are wondering, there are several Katos on CC. Kato#80777 is one of my first friends. It is Mom who needs prayers, although my Mom didn’t feel too well yesterday. One my profile picture the name is the witching Hour and the small circles contain spiders. My Dad’s computer wasn’t working this morning, he finally figured out a restore point and got the computer going again. Mom used a new mixed and made chocolate cupcakes for coffee tomorrow. The apartment smells nice. I helped with making them. I got my foot stepped on by being too close to Mom. I have been on CC for over 2 years now. Mom thought it was tomorrow. The Philly are not out yet. Good luck on the final games.
A bright sunny fall day, the trees are all turning color and there are a lot of red trees that line the streets. It is still dry and this weekend there were 3 fires near Boise. All are at least contained if not out. It just seems like a long wait until my Dad is ready to go on our walk. This morning was very birdy with 3 raven flying around a several ducks. I managed to slip my harness off; but my Dad was quit to catch me so I didn’t get very far. The pot luck last night was great for food and chatting with others folks. We were all on the patio checking out the tomato plant that has a lot of green balls on it. The balls have grown and some are starting to turn. The plant has a nice case of white fly; but the flies are too tiny to catch. I haven't seen many games; but one more before the World Series. Mariners named Eric wWdge as their manager. They have a good core time; but someone needs to teach them to lay together and forget their different cultures.
A sunny day but it is on the cool side. The man that fixes things was here this morning. He likes me; but I am not sure about him so I stay pretty far away. My Dad took his walk before we went out. I did go and I sure wish we could stay out there all day and not the short time we do. I left messages for all the other cats and dogs that check out the place. I been out on the patio helping Dad with the TV antenna. Tonight is the pot luck and Mom is fixing a fruit salad to take along with a sandwich for her to eat. Hi Princess & Family,
So far none of the games have been on our TV. I hope fox picks up the next round so I can see them. We had a frost warming last night. I am not sure how cold it got; but at 9:00AM it was 36 degrees. My Dad went for his walk first and then put a heavy coat on before we went outside. I had a lot of fun covering all the new scents and leaving my own. The tomato plant was put in the storage last night and brought out this morning. It is full of green round balls. It is suppose to reach 60 degrees today. The patio door is shut and I am lying in the sun. I usually don’t like the sun; but it feels good this morning. My Dad has gone to get a haircut.

I guess the Rangers anyone but the Yankees. the Playoff are not on our TV.
It cleared up yesterday afternoon, than rain last night. Now it is overcast and on the cool side. I spent a good portion of yesterday afternoon on the patio watching for gophers so Shakira & I could chase them later. I had my time outside with my Dad. He sat in his chair and I check all the bushes and the area out. I didn’t smell the black cat; but another tabby was by. I left a good message to him that this was my territory. There are few insects out to chase. I watch the roads as the cars go by many of them going too fast. My friend with the white poodle was by to say hi to both of us.
Our tomato plant is looking good and setting on lots of little tomatoes. Mom may try to bring it inside on froze warnings. My Dad is waiting to go to the birthday party for cake & ice cream. Mom doesn’t go as she can’t eat the cake. She has one lesson to finish for this month Cat College. The project is a little hard to do as I am the boss of the place. THANKS FOR THE COTD, PRINCESS AND FAMILY!
THE STORY OF JEZEBEL AND HER KITTENS, continued--
Mom first met Jezebel in the summer of 2009. She was just a tiny thing, maybe 6 or 7 months old and very frightened at first of Mom. Actually, Momma thought that she had been dumped, just like at lot of my roommates. She started putting food out for this kitty, who is a very pretty (we’re told) Lynx Point Siamese mix. Pretty soon the kitty was coming to Mom whenever she would go outside, and Mom would spend an hour or so every evening out on the porch, giving Jezzy lots of love and attention, and food of course. I was a nice day to relax. I was laying on top of the recliner and kicking mom in the head. What can I say, it was in my way. hehe. Spunky has been running around messing up the rugs and throwing her toys everywhere. Angel is waiting for Tom and Smokey is sleeping on a chair. I have my slave, oh I mean mom cleaning our litter boxes. I hope I get to bed before mom gets there, I don't want her on MY side of the bed. She still doesn't understand the way it works. Well I sat by mom and watch some mews this morning before she went to work. Well let me tell you, I so did not want her to go to work and I followed her to the door. She told me she had to pay mortgage. Who is this mortgage and why is he getting MY money. AHHHH, mom's money. MOL I like the pretty things and the best food and don't think this mortgage character should be getting MY, I mean, mom's money, but off she went. Of course when mom came home Spunky was waiting for her at the door. We all took turns sitting on mom's lap. We needed mom. I took my turn first of course. After Spunky chased me away Smokey came to mom. Angel later laid by mom on the couch and now Spunky is close to mom. Do you think mom really needs to get any sleep tonight? I mean, can't she just keep petting us all night long? Angel Sassy went and had Chili with some furriends today and says she might go moonbeam sliding tonight. That sounds like fun. Please continue to pray for the sick kitties and their humans.

The Mariners sent another underachiever to the Jays. He has been hurt more than he pitched. When he was good you couldn't hit.
Was everyone Christmas good or bad? I spent part of both days alone. I got a walk both days. Christmas Day Mom followed with a black object and tried to keep in front of us. Yesterday morning I told her needed a walk. I noticed that MY Mom had a strange cat on her lap and loving it. I decided to leave and went into Dad. I couldn’t believe she would do that to me. (He saw himself in the Webcam; in the video you can see it in his eyes when he saw himself. I tried watch your videos last night and my computer wouldn't load. Same thing this morning. Google is taken over our ISP and there are some problems. Sorry to hear about all your Mom's problems. It is easy to say "in time it will change"
The weather is still cold out even for me. I went out on my patio where the sun is shining. I stay out for awhile and not asking to go outside. The forecast is no break in the cold until Sat or Sunday when a new storm will arrive bringing snow. I am looking for things to do. Just knock some objects off the table. My pawrents just got back from the store & library. We are missing the storm that is hitting the mid section of the country. Sorry to hear that your Mom has been ill. glad she is feeling better now.
The weather continues the same freezing at night and warm during the afternoon. No moisture in sight for around a week. I started asking my Dad for a walk early this morning. I asked nicely. When he went out several times without my feeling were hurt. I misbehave by scattering his papers around. I didn’t even want to go out on the my patio, I was so disappointed. When I had given up all hope, my Mom put her coat on and we went for a walk. I wanted to find out my neighbor’s Christmas decorations; my Mom said. Downstairs we stopped for awhile and my Mom talk with someone. I checked out the lawn. After she left we went across to my vacant lot. I cover a couple of cats smells, decided I didn’t want to go one way. We continue on and I smell the cat close by. I told my Mom lets not go in that direction. She picked me up and carried me for awhile. The other cat disappeared. My walk continued along the sidewalk with Mom dragging me along. We stopped at the road as a UPS truck was going out. I got picked up again and carried to the door. I fraught going up to the 3rd floor and o n the 2nd floor a lady was walking down it. Mom wouldn’t let me go and greet her. Finally, she picked up and carried me the rest of the way. I am now out on my patio looking for that cat.

Hi Princess & Victoria,
My Mom hasn't been able to watch to much of ALC series. She will be watching tonight. She has been busy helping Jethro and so please for him. His Mom is so excited.
I was so excited last night when my pawrents finally arrive home. I thought they were never come back. I race around the apartment, ate, used my litter box and run out onto the patio. My Mom did a few things and then went to bed. I slept all day so I was up most of the night. Once I wrote my Mom up to get attention. This morning I ran around the apartment; out onto the patio because it is going to be a nice day. I see no sign of that storm Mom said was coming. My Mom told me about their trip. First they stop at the hospital for Mom’s blood work, next drove about 60 miles and had a buffet breakfast. As they dropped down to lower elevation the cottonwood trees appear with their yellow leaves. Upon reaching the river the trees’ and bushes’ leaves changed from rust, orange, red colors. The fall colors were at their peak, one of the ospreys was present below Anderson Ranch Dam. The jaunt continued along the shoreline of the dam. At Fall Creek, my folks turned toward Pine. At various times along the draws yellow cottonwood trees add color. By this time it was late, after a discussion it was decided to head for Spring Creek Reservoir. There they were delighted to find 11 trumpeter swans. Next a stop at Fairfield for drinks and they headed for fort Running Bear. Talking with friend they found tree limbs down all over. The last storm brought 14 inches of wet, heavy snow which did a lot of damage. All the snow had melted which explain why there was more water in the reservoirs. Pictures will be in on Facebook. My pawrents enjoy the trip; however my Mom was very tired. Too bad the Phillies lost Pedro's excellent game. Didn't get to watch much of the Yankees & Angel's game as it was my Mom pinochle night. She won on game and lost the other. It is early in the morning for us to be up. My condolences to Sheba and Brina who’s Grandma pass away yesterday. My Mom says a Pacific storm is headed our way. It should arrive by Monday. My Mom got up early to help write my blogs and my Dad follow and is anxious to be on his way. So my pawrents have decided to go see the fall colors, today. I will be alone most of the day so I must get out my blog now. My folks hope to drive the south fork of the Boise River and then drive to Fairfield. If lucky they will find the Trumpeter swans that live in the area. Congratulations on the Phillies win last night. It was nice that Raul got the winning hit.
Not much is happening now. It is quiet here and the weather is chilly this morning; however it will be nice this afternoon. The fall drives should be lovely and my folks are thinking about taking a drive someday soon. My Mom would like to see my friend Jethro137839 received his COTD badge and is helping run a catpaign for him Saturday Oct 17, please remember to vote for him tomorrow. ethro first started out in a shelter, waiting to find his forever home. Suddenly, his day came to go to a loving home and live out his life. He knew when his mommy picked him out when he was a kitten, he knew that she was the one. From then on, Jethro has been spoiled and living life in the fab lane! Now, he is coming of age but his family is still loving him. His favorite toy is a stick made for his 16th birthday, with a feather on the end. Playing with Jethro is a great way to bound with him. He still warms up to people and loves attention. He especially loves the attention he's getting for COTD!Thanks for your support in voting me COTD!
