ATTENTION ALL MHL HOCKEY PLAYERS!!
This message is only being posted on one or two pages in each family so I can get it out to more kitties! Please pass the word on to the rest of your family as needed.
On Friday July 6th, at 7:30 pm EST (4:30 pm PST) we will hold our annual MHL Hockey Awards Ceremony! We will be enjoying an excellent catered meal in the newly completed Catvention Center at the White Squirrel Campground, page #189629. The menu for the evening will be posted on that page before the event. Following the dinner, the Awards Ceremony will commence at about 8 pm EST (5 pm PST) hosted by our very own Commish, Casey! Don't worry if you can't make it early for the meal, food will be served whenever you arrive. We will have live blogging that night for as long as you want or are able to stay.
On Saturday and Sunday we will have a large number of events and activities available for your enjoyment! Take part in our golf an fishing tourneys, water and small sports, individual games, etc. See the Park page for a list of things you can get involved in! If you wish you can blog with your friends at a time you arrange, or just log in to let us know you are there and participate silently. The Squirrel Box Resturant is open 24/7 for any time you are hungry. The menu is posted on the right side of the page.
Lodging is available for your use if you want to spend the whole weekend. Check the page for details. Anything you need is available at the campground! Just check with the staff in the Country Store.
This weekend event is for all MHL players, their families, friends, and pawrents! Bring everyone and have the best time you can have in the great outdoors! We will have special things to do and chaperones and sitters for the little ones, so bring your babies!
If you want, we can live blog again here on Sunday night, the 8th, and take a short break from hockey to just enjoy each other and get caught up on all the mews we have to share.
One final thing: PLEASE DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS PAGE when you are here. We don't want to interfere with any catpaign or special day that is on the calender!

Greetings from the MHL Executive Committee!
Congratulations! Your NHL player has been selected to participate in the 2012 ALL STAR GAME . The NHL draft of which team you will play on is Thursday Jan. 26. The NHL Skills competition is Saturday Jan 28 and the NHL ALL STAR game is Sunday Jan. 29th.
The MHL game day and skills competition will be announced after discussion with the executive committee. We may be able to play it that Sunday.

Anticipation - it's half the fun

Never too early to plan and prepare. Scare up the fun with your crafty sewing skills. Design, create, stitch with love, wear with pride and laugh with glee once done. Everyone wants to look their best behind a realistic-looking mask. Visit the party stores before they are sold out.
Ringing doorbells is a game of chance. Will they have the best candy or not? Will neighbors give the kitties a thrill with their decked out yard full of skeletons, ghosts or tombstones, just to show-off their spine-tingling home? Will you hear the scariest howling out of haunted attractions?
Eventually back home after walking sidewalks, climbing hills or up and down many stairs, going around the block after block, and crossing all those streets. Time to count and separate candy galore; could almost open up a candy store.

#1513 - BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES ROO!
We're so sorry we missed your big day yesterday, but we always say "Better late than never, MOL!". We baked a big platter of tuna fish cuppie cakes for you and Robby to share with all your family! Hope you sweet boys had a big day yesterday!
FLU SHOT DAY
Mom got her flu shot and pneumonia shot yesterday morning around 8:30. Before she got home, she had a splitting headache. Off to bed she went taking us kitties with her. She opened a can of soup for dinner last night and went straight back to bed. She said thank goodness she's back to normal this morning! The shots never slow our Dad down, he says he can never tell he's had a shot. Mom said it may give her a headache for a day, but that's a thousand times better than getting the flu.
Kitties, be sure to pester *your* Mom or Dad to get their flu and preumonia shots. We want our pawrents to be healthy for a long, long time and this is one way for them to do that.
