Nice to meet both of you. We are friends of Daisy, Boomer and Dude Kitty's Momcat. Via Daisy's catster site, the Fabulous Miss D and her Momcat sent us an inquiring message: they are concerned about you and especially Momcat's recovery. They send lots of purrs and prayers. Hello Rusty and Mom!!!
Although we will begin partying at 7:00 PM, at 8:00 PM we will observe 15 minutes of silence for all those who have crossed The Rainbow Bridge and those who are sick or hurt, including our dear parents. We have invited the dogs on Dog Channel to join us during this 15 minutes. They have indicated there are many of them with problems, also. After a prayer, we will be releasing white doves in their honor. We ask that you not blog during this time (8:00 PM to 8:15 PM). Before and after that, blog all you want. Not much going on here today, now that mama's son had graduated she is a lot calmer. When she gets home from work, she gives us our soft food, cleans our "boxes", makes sure we have fresh water, then it's time to play and cuddle! We have to get her to find all our mousies. We like to hid them, then can't seem to remeber, or should I say reach them. Have a meowy day! Hello... Momma printed out copies of all my blogs since Saturday morning. She promised me extra time blogging over the next few days. We played together so much today. I think she was trying to make up for leaving me. I really suffered being left alone with my two sisters, Grandma, Grandpa and especially Aunt Donna. I suffered through belly rubs, kitty kisses, brushing, being hand fed, played with and entertained. I know you feel sorry for me. Sometimes it's tough being a kitty. LOL!!! I was so happy to see my Momcat that when I heard the garage door close I ran down the stairs and jumped into her arms. I know I was suppose to ignore Momcat and give her the quilt trip but I was just TOO excited. Momma was trying to hold me, her pocketbook & suitcase. The look on her face was pretty funny. My parents had a wonderful time in Las Vegas. They flew 3 hours by helicopter to the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, followed the Colorado River along the Grand Canyon Western Rim and landed at the Hualapai Nation. They went out on the new Skywalk that opened two months ago. The Skywalk is a glass walkway that suspends more than 4,000 feet above the Grand Canyon's floor and extends 70 feet from the Canyon's Rim. VERY COOL!!! They saw the Beatles Show "LOVE" and really enjoyed it. Swimming, walking the strip and seeing the sights kept them busy. Momma said it was 100 degrees everyday without the humidity of NYC. They enjoyed the Bellagio and LOVED the dancing fountains. Today Momma started to open the pool and they celebrated Papa's birthday. I watched Momma put the suitcase away so I know that she is staying home for quite some time. Momma brought me some yummy catnip toys & several little rattling balls. She also gave me a photograph of her petting a small cub (about 90 pounds) at MGM's casino. They went to the Lion's Habitat. That dude's paw is larger than my head. Momma told me I was way cuter!!! Well Missy is all brushed out for today and has finally stopped hacking. She and Ole Gray spent the morning in the yard. Taz and zippo have been chasing and wrestling all morning and are now sleeping. OG is in the garage upside down with a tuna coma. Dad opened 3 cans of fancy feast and we all ate til we fell over. Hello dear Rusty...
HELLO EVERYONE!!! My parents are going to Las Vegas & the Grand Canyon tomorrow until late Tuesday night. I'm not very happy about this but they really didn't ask me. I did spend the entire day glued to Momma. I tried to help her pack and kept jumping in her suitcase. I tried to put a few of my silly mice into her bag. Boy will she be surprised! My sisters are going to take care of me and Aunt Donna is going to come over and play with me everyday. I even think that Grandma & Grandpa are going to come and play with me too! That will be fun. I love it when everyone worships me. Hee-Hee. I made Momma promise that she would call me everyday and try to write me a blog like she did on the cruise. I don't know if there is going to be a computer but she'll try to leave one main blog on my page. Aunt Donna will help me read my mail which will be cool. Momma said that we will start answering all my blogs on Wednesday when she gets back. I will be thinking of all of you even though I’m not blogging for a few days. I also want you to know that my magazine finally came. Momma picked me up and we did the Irish Jig all around the house. Momma told no secret parties while she’s gone. I am glad to hear that your mom is feeling better. The channel is full of really nice people. When we first came on, my mom was going through a medical situation and she was really stressed out. Some other moms wrote to her and made her feel better and she got through it just fine. On Mother's Day she was sad because one of her daughters was in Ireland and the other was killed. Nobody sent her a card and her friends and family were all telling her what great plans they had with their kids. She told one that she would probably spend the day on the channel and they laughed at her and made fun of her. It really hurt her feelings and she started crying right in the middle of a store. When she got home we wrote to some of our kitty friends and they really cheered her up. You will find extremely supportive friends on this channel. If you think about it, it only makes sense. The people on here have opened their homes and hearts up to their cats. They are so full of love for their pets that they have all come together on the channel to share that love. We are really sorry that your mom isn't feeling well. When my mom is sick or going through tests, we try to give her lots of extra purrs and rubs. My mom use to have high blood pressure and had to take medication every day. Guess what, since she got us her blood pressure is lower without than when she took the medicine. Your 200th Vote!!!
Dear Rusty, Hello!!! I feel like I have not meowed with anyone in days. Momma didn’t feel well yesterday so I couldn’t write my friends. This morning we came on to Cat Channel and the site was GONE!!! I think we need to decide on a firm emergency plan. We could meet at Bird Channel, on the Bird of the Week page the next time the site goes down . Just to LOOK. I must tell you its very nice over there. Bird Channel is very BRIGHT and colorful. I would say it’s like a large take out menu there but I don’t want to offend any of my kitty friends who have feathered siblings because I’m only teasing. We could end the day by crashing on the Dog of the Day site. Talk about living life on the edge. Would it be okay to leave them a message on the walls??? Something like “Cats rule and dogs drool!!!. ( Hee-Hee) Fortunately the site is back up. I have been watching the birds again. Somehow a fly managed to find its way into my house. After a brief 12 ½ minutes, he was lunch. I am trying to increase my protein intake. I am going to treat myself to a nice quiet wind blown nap in front of the screen door. The birds are eyeing Momma’s blueberries already. Life is good. PET RULES
To be posted VERY LOW on the refrigerator door – nose height.
Dear Dogs and Cats,
The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.
The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack.
Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn’t help because I fall faster than you can run.
I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out to the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.
For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, and try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years – canine or feline attendance is not required.
To pacify you, my dear pets, I have posted the following message on our front door:
To All Non-Pet Owners Who Visit & Like to Complain About Our Pets:
1. They live here. You don’t.
2. If you don’t want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That’s why they call it ‘furniture.
3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
4. To you, it’s an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn’t speak clearly.
Remember: Dogs and Cats are better than kids because they:
1. Eat less.
2. Don’t ask for money all the time.
3. Are easier to train.
4. Normally come when called.
5. Never ask to drive the car.
6. Don’t hang out with drug-using friends.
7. Don’t smoke or drink.
8. Don’t have to buy the latest fashions.
9. Don’t want to wear your clothes.
10. Don’t need a gazillion dollars for college and . . .

Dear Rusty, Hello... I hope everything is going well with you dear friend.I also hope your Momcat is doing better. Surgery is hard on the Momcat's. I trust that you will take very good care of her with plenty of kitty therapy. We will keep her in our prayers. I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you. We had a really nice time with Grandpa being here. It's a far cry from Grandma, Grandpa & Aunt Donna worshipping me but I think I enjoyed the challenge of making him take notice of me. First, I must tell you that Momma really made him cut up shrimp and ham for me. He mumbled something about serving me cat food but I just looked at him and meowed the words "FOOD RECALL". I'm not sure if he understood "MEOW" but I tried. After dinner I jumped on the dining room table and went inside my basket and meowed until Momma put on my Cat Sitter DVD. Then I sat there and really watched the DVD. Would you believe he never heard of a Cat Sitter DVD??? I think this man must live under a rock. Momma showed him my web site, pictures, scrapbook, my television debut, toys and bed. Grandpa couldn't believe that I really slept on a pillow. Doesn't he sleep on a pillow??? Why would he assume that I wouldn't want to sleep on a pillow??? I was able to jump on his pillow every morning when he opened his door. He had to call Momma to come and get me. Do I look that ferocious ??? Hee-hee. Grandpa did say that I was a very good girl. I don't think I have made a cat person out of him but he did come over and say "Bye Cat" when he left. Today we let our balloons go and tried to catch up with things around the house. I was such a big help to Momma (especially when she was making the bed). A Fairy Tale Birthday Party
