Education: Of course, she saved our lives once when a small fire started on our apartment's porch. I was inside with my daughter and Mocha came meowing desperatly at me. I though that maybe sha was hungry and I followed her, but whe had food and water, and she passed by running the kitchen. I stood up trying to figure out what she wanted, while she was coming back and forth with a very particular meow. I decided to follow her, and she went to the porch door, and suddenly she started scratching the door. Immediatly I knew something was wrong, because in her ten years the only thing that cat has ever scratched is her scratching post. My surprise when I open the door I see a small fire on the porch. Thanks to Mocha we were able to extinguish the fire right away because it was starting. Since that day I'll be always grateful to have her.
My favorite tricks and treats are: I'm very smart, I know how to open doors and cabinet. and and I love to eat HAM!!!!
Where I hang out: The window. She is a window cat who loves to do bird watching.
My favorite grubs: fancy feast elegant medleys (florentine style is her favorite) and science diet dry food
My pet peeves: I like to go fishing in the toilet, and wherever I see water.
What I love about my owners: SHE IS ALWAYS SPOILING ME!!!
My cat hobbies: eating fancy feast elegant medleys, and going out for a little car ride.

We adopted her from the shelter. She was there for a long time, I couldn't believe such a beautiful cat spent so long in there, but I believe she was just waiting for us because she is the perfect match for our family.

!**Warning! Children and Pet Hazard**... Recently a couple had to have their 5-year old German Shepherd dog put down due to liver failure. The dog was completely healthy until a few weeks ago, so they had a necropsy done to see what the cause was. The liver levels were unbelievable, as if the dog had ingested a poison of some kind. The dog was kept inside, and when he was outside, someone was with him, so the idea of him getting into something unknown was hard to believe. Their neighbor started going through all the items in the house. When he got to the Swiffer Wetjet, he noticed, in very tiny print, a warning which stated,...* may be harmful to small children and animals*. He called the company to ask what the contents of the cleaning agent are and was astounded to find out that antifreeze is one of the ingredients. Actually, he was told it's a compound which is one molecule away from antifreeze. Therefore, just by the dog walking on the floor cleaned with the solution, then licking its own paws, it ingested enough of the solution to destroy its liver. Soon after his dog's death, his housekeepers' two cats also died of liver failure. They both used the Swiffer Wetjet for quick cleanups on their floors. Necropsies weren't done on the cats, so they couldn't file a lawsuit, but he asked that we spread the word to as many people as possible so they don't lose their children or animals. This is equally harmful to babies and small children that play on the floor a lot and put their fingers in their mouths a lot. PLEASE, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BABIES, SMALL CHILDREN OR OWN A PET; PLEASE FORWARD THIS ON! YOU MAY NOT HAVE ANY, BUT SOME OF YOU HAVE FRIENDS OR FAMILY WITH PETS, CHILDREN, AND ALSO FAMILIES WITH GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. Rosebud didn't know it, but she was in serious trouble. Her family was moving and they couldn't take her. They asked around until they persuaded a kindly family to take her in so she wouldn't have to go to the humane shelter. It was a lucky day for Rosebud and her new loving furrever family! The years have passed and at 17, Rosebud has retained her girlish figure and doesn't look a day over 12! Rosebud never fails to wake her mom up at 5:00 a.m., she is a meowing alarm clock! Several members of the community have nominated Rosebud for COTD and this very deserving senior citizen kitty is long overdue for her badge! Miss'stachee won the Best Mustache contest and placed Third overall in the Virtual Cat Contests! Miss'stachee became a member of the Arizona clowder when her kitty mom went missing when Miss'stachee and her siblings were just over 3 weeks old. Miss'stachee, her sister Bootsie #39755 and her brother were brought inside to join the clowder and with the love and support of their foster kitmom, MADAME HOUDINI #8578 of the clowder, they were taught how to be proper indoor kits. Miss'stachee and her sister Bootsie are permanent members of the clowder while their brother lives with their Aunt. Madame Houdini still grooms and washes their faces on occasion. The hardest lesson for the babies to learn: p--p, cover, and then walk. They were bathed in the sink more than a few before they learned the lesson of clean kitty toilet use. Miss'stachee still tends to be shy and skittish except with her loving Mom. She loves to play, eat and nap on her Mom's lap when Mom is taking dictation from the whole clowder for their blogs. Miss'stachee adores the laser light and will even sit by her Dad to get him to run her in circles with it! Miss'stachee #39772 & the whole AZ clowder extend a Thank You paw for your support and be sure to enjoy her pictures when you stop by for a visit on Wednesday, JULY 30! As the month of July comes to a close, we salute King Rhoamin Knight #2921 for doing a wonderful job as CC's King of July. Once upon a time, a long time ago, she was socializing a painfully shy "scaredy cat". This fluffy Birman fella would just curl up in her arms and hide his face in the crook of her elbow. The shelter manager walked by making the rounds as she prepared "The Dreaded List" just as the fluffy fella was being put back in his cage. Shai's Mom jokingly asked if the shy Birman was on the list, figuring such a handsome fella could never meet such a fate. The Shelter Manager gave Shai's Mom "the look". The shy Birman boy did not "show well" due to his fears and the shelter was overflowing. Shai's Mom immediately volunteered to take the Birman home to foster, saving him from the euthanasia list that fateful day. The Birman Boy spent the first two weeks hiding his head in the crook of his foster Mom's elbow. By the end of two weeks, Shai's Mom had fallen in love with him and so adopted Shai furever! It was still months before he would take his head out from her elbow. So she named him Shai, which means "gift" in Hebrew and because he was just so shy. Shy Mr. Shai is still shy when strangers come over or sometimes when there are new rescue kitties like Mo. Currently, Shai shares the home with Jes, Socks, Mo and Smudge. Socks has been missing for a couple of days and his Mom is worried, praying for his return. Shai is best buddies with Smudge! You can see pictures of them together as they always hang out when Shai is not on his mom's lap. Shai sleeps right next to his mom's face at night or elsewhere on the bed with Smudge. Shai & his Mom have been together for over 6 years now and she will never let him go! Shai is very smart as he knows his name and when to come in at night.
