Daemyn you are sooooo cute!!!!!! What a nice present you were for your mommy! You remind me of my first cat, The Neut (1983-1993), who ended up being 20 pounds! Hope you don't get THAT big or you won't be able to lay on your mommy anymore. But then again, Rocky weighs 18 pounds and always lays on my chest. I've learned to take shallow breaths. Hi dear friend, this is Kinser. I am,was a big boy. I tipped the scales at nearly 20 pounds and I got really sick!! I had to go to the hospital and stay there for 3 days. I was so scared and I didn't like it at all! I had a Urinary Track Infection and Kidney Stones. When I was released from the hospital, the vet told mom that I may get it back but if I lost some weight, I would have a better chance at not getting it back!He put me on a special diet and now I weigh 16 pounds so everyone is really proud of me. And I am getting around much better with the weight off. But I still have to loose more so I will continue with the diet for a while yet!! Come visit me, "Onyx" & "Kinser".

How sweet! He's a much better companion than some exboyfriend, I'm sure. He should grow out of the sucking thing, otherwise consult info from Pam Bennet-Johnson. I have 2 of her books (Think Like a Cat and Cat Vs. Cat). She's easy to read and really understands feline behavior.
