The other day I, once again, exhibited my brilliant ability to hunt. I caught a mouse by the goat shed and carried it proudly to the front door for inspection and to get my praise. Mama looked at me suspiciously and asked, "Is it really dead this time?" I have always tried to share my prey with Mama (who is a lousy hunter by the way), but she refuses to eat it. I have tried to show her how by gnawing on the head while she was looking - all to no avail. SIGH! Strange beings these humans! All I hear nowadays are moans about how expensive food is and how much everything costs, but when I try and contribute a fresh kill, she pats me on the head and says, "No thank you." When Mama brings out bills and puts them on the table, I help by sleeping on top of them and refusing to move. (This is meant as another hint about what SHE could do.) I really can't see the problem. If Mama only did things my way, everything would be fine.
HINT FOR THE DAY: Sleep for 23 hours and hunt for one! Purrfect!
