Education: I'm so happy with how quickly Mocha accepted the new lil baby Gracie. I told him he was gonna love her & would regret those days wasted hissing at her & sure enough (Mother's always right) he did. Within 3 days he was licking her head, just like I wanted! I'm so happy he made her feel welcome & loved & now she has a home with the best of both worlds
My favorite tricks and treats are: I can still get into the kitchen cupboards even though mommy put those child/cat safety lock things on to try & keep me out, Yeah right! and Catnip, cat grass & celery!
Where I hang out: Anywhere the sun shines on the carpet. & next to the computer under the desk. Interestingly enough,I prefer being inside, even though I can go outside (to the balcony)& anywhere next to meowm.
My favorite grubs: I'm known to be extremely picky & Mommy's been experimenting lately now that lil Gracie is here, but so far my favorite of the 'trials' has been EVO wet & Natural Balance Dry. Oh & Artemis is cool too.
My pet peeves: I don't like it when the door to my mommy's room is closed for no reason & I can't go in there. & kinda don't like it when I'm sleeping & Gracie jumps on my head & bites me or when I'm trying to be nice to her & she smacks me. Boy, I tell ya, she sure is lucky she's little & cute
What I love about my owners: I've really tried her patience over the years, but despite the things I've broken, chewed, sprayed on &/or ruined, she always provided me with food, comfort & unconditional love. & she seems to take pretty good care of me since I outlived my foster brother Pickles & especially after they said I had an immune problem & would have to get my teeth pulled! Yikes. But I still got all my teeth, minus 2 & alive to tell about it! & even though I didn't understand it at first, I'm glad she took lil Gracie in & gave her a home & a chance like she did for me 12 years ago.
My cat hobbies: I'm getting old & I really enjoy just laying around, but that lil Gracie sure is trying to make me young again & keep me on my toes!

How We Met
Just after I had lost (lost, not died)my fave cool cat Talien, (who had ears on the side of his head & looked like an 'alien') I was walking home from the store when this lady who remembered me from going door to door looking for Talien, saw me, asked if I ever found him & asked if I wanted another. I said No, but she told me how he had been coming to her porch for the last few days & that he purrs instantly & he was black & she was calling him Mandela. I said thanks, but no thanks, but she went & got him anyway & I held him & he purred & I've had him ever since. 11.5 years & counting. & he's just a little guy. Only 8 lbs. & looks black, but is auburnish in the light, so he's coffee with a hint of chocolate=Mocha- !

87 Honoring Your 3 Year Forever Sleep, Mocha

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 52 & low was 43 this morning, now it's 52 with humidity 71% & wind is 10 MPH S. Monday's suppose to be Showers & High 49.

♥ Mom still has a lot of sadness in her heart♥ since Aunt Samantha 15442 was killed in August by those two Pit Bulls. The only kitty that will sleep on the patio is Suezee 11528. Mom goes out on the patio and she tells dad that the patio is so empty without seeing Aunt Samantha as well as Velvet 10732. NeuBee 123633 and Sylvester 11567 is hardly ever out in the back yard anymore as well. They stay in the front as does TaumKat, too. Little noises still keeps the other outside kits on alert!!!!
♥ Our doggie sister Carly (#11000 DC) has slacked off on her Prescription Diet w/d can food the last couple days so therefore she gets her insulin cut back.
♥ We want to say Thank You for so many who has showed interest in the "Antifreeze" information and even shared some comments with stories back to us.

Dear Angel Mocha,
We are coming by to remember your first crossing anniversary a year ago, today. We know your pawrents are sad today as they think about that day. You were here a week before I crossed the Bridge and I remember how you welcomed me with the other angels and made everything feel alright. We are happy and healthy, here at the Bridge and I know it brings great comfort to my pawrents. I hope it does yours, too. Take care sweet angel.
