Nicknames: Yes, lots! Pooh-Bear, Pookie, Punkin, Georgia Peach, Little Freckled Nose, Pooh-Pook, Little Legs, Sunshine, Angel, and probably more I can't think of right now!

Education: She is the greatest comforter in the world. AND a highly gifted comedienne!

My favorite tricks and treats are: She climbs walls and doorways, does wheelies around corners (usually followed by spectacular crashes!), and will stand up on her hind legs to get a treat. She is HIGHLY intelligent! and Tuna fish in water (lots of juice)! Tuna, tuna, tuna, tuna, tuna....

Where I hang out: In the window, high on her perch!

My favorite grubs: Pretty much anything, lol!

My pet peeves: Dogs, loud noises, thunder, bad storms, cats wandering into "her" yard (i.e. the entire neighborhood!), not getting the "right" treats, being shut out of a room (any room) and worst of all: THE DREADED VET VISIT!!!!

What I love about my owners: Mommy (also Grandmaw and Grandpaw) love me to distraction. They spoil me, but somehow I stay sweet! They make sure I am happy, they clean my litter box, they play with me, they scratch under my chin and the base of my tail (well, it itches!!), they love cuddling with me, and overall they are the best slaves ever!! When I passed over the Rainbow Bridge on May 6, 2008, it broke my family's hearts. I had been suddenly diagnosed with "end-stage cardiomyopathy" and they fought SO HARD to save me. They cried and cried when I died, and I don't like seeing my loved ones sad. If only they knew how happy I am now, and healthy, they would be happy too! When I passed, I was at home (the place I loved best) and with my family (the people I love best in all the world). I had a very happy life and I loved all my family because I know how much they will always love me!!!

My cat hobbies: Play and sleep on her perch in the window with just the screen between her and the back yard, which is filled with birds and other wild critters. She loves to watch them until she's tired, then she curls up on her perch and takes a nap! She also loves to cuddle/sleep with us 4-legged cats!

How We Met

I lost my beloved kitty Malkin, an orange male cat, to cancer in September 2006 at the age of 17. I'd had him since he was a baby, so I was heartbroken. One day I couldn't stand the silence any longer, so I asked the way to the local animal shelter. I know that Malkin guided me there, since I have NO sense of direction! I wanted another orange kitty, and they only had one--a FEMALE!!! (90% of orange tabbies are male!) This little orange-and-whit- e girl, about 5 and a half months old, came up to the front of the cage, looked up into my eyes, and gave the sweetest little meow, like, "Hello! Are you my new Mommy?" Well, I ask you...what could I answer but "YES!"???
