Some Siamese facts!
Siamese kittens, although cream or white at birth, develop their visible color-points in the first few months of their life in colder parts of their body. By the time a Siamese kitten reaches four weeks old the points should be clearly recognizable enough to recognize which color-point they are. Hi Cosita & Family
Thank you so much for stopping by the other day to congratulate me on my COTD win. Winning COTD was such a nice surprise for me. Right now, I am feeling a bit under the weather. Mom noticed I was coughing a lot and having some labored breathing yesterday. I seemed to be running a fever as well, so Mom started me on some antibiotics. However this morning, Mom talked the vet and he said I should be getting a different type of antibiotic as I probably had an upper respiratory infection. Mom thinks I have pneumonia as there is so much noise in my chest (other than purring, which I do a lot of). The treatment is pretty much the same, so I'm taking Clavamox for the new few days. I DO NOT want to have to visit the vet so I'm trying to feel better. I don't think they want to see me either as last time I was there--for my big boy surgery--I tried my best to trash the place....oops! Thanks again for stopping by! I have made so much new friends--that's the best part of this whole experience! ok, that is fine. I understand you are busy. The weather is just gorgous here. It is a shame my owner is sick. My family is starting to open doors but I am not allowed out and the screens are always shut! :( Oh well. It is scary outside with all the coyotes, stray dogs, hawks, and vultures. Every day I go sit on my little table by the window and I watch the big fat roadrunner that is lways in MY yard. I wish I could chase him. Have a wonderful first day of spring! Thank you for the compliments! Mom thinks that Siamese are the most distinguished looking kitties. I rarely go outside, there are too many scarry things out there! But Charlie loves the outside. (He is a Flame point Siamese Manx.) He did get hurt- he lost part of his cornea, but we are giving him eyedrops and antibiotics, and that is helping lots! We don't know if he got in a fight or how it happened. Of course now that he is feeling better, he really wants to go back outside. But mom said no, he has to stay inside. (Fact) We are the only creature ever to domesticate ourselves. (Fact) Usually cats are solitary and do not hunt in packs. I too, am be nature a carnivore. Osito De Felpa means Teddy Bear in Spanish! Mom likes Spanish names- my aunt's name is Te Amo, and that means I love you. She's a Siamese Torti. Hello my "Meezer" furriend!
Dropping by to say MEOW and a vote! Its ccccooolllllddd here in Florida this morning. It actually is 24 right now! Im glad that Im an indoor kitty. I got out once a couple of months ago for about an hour. Mom was real scared because we live on 5 wooded acres and there are coyotes around here. I think that I learned my lesson cause when I flew back into the house I was shaking. Something out there frightened me. Mom told me that its safer for me to look out the windows and we have plenty of them in this house! Better but the cancer spread real fast(bone cancer) she cried a lot on wed and couldn’t stand up, mommy called the doctor and he came to our house and gave her a shot to go to sleep.

Saturday purrs
Meowmy let me get on the computer for a few minutes to catch up my thank you blogs...yippee! Just wanted to pounce over & tell you thanks for the catgrats on my COTD badge. I had a purrfect day. Zaboo's grasshopper pie wasn't too bad & he even cleaned up the kitchen when he was done! I got attention from all of my hooman family members & our outside kitties presented me with a collection of butterflies to chase & a bouquet of beautiful flowers. I had a great day!
