Sorry we haven't been on much to chat the last few days. Dad did overdo it while saving the kitten from the cold rainy night. PT on Wed was really hard. Thanksgiving was wonderful and he did bring some turkey for us Yummy. Grammy came back with him Thanksgiving night to help. Funny to watch them both hobble around together, but it's good for both of them. Sure hope your Thanksgiving was as wonderful as ours. Dad just got back from the vet for new kitties appt. Thankfully our neighbor took them. Dr. says he 4-6 weeks. Just real thin and tiny. He got the all clear so he's out and about with grammy's watchful eye. He is all white with two tiny patches of gray on his head, a gray tail with white tip and a spitfire for sure. Glad to be out of the bathroom I guess. Don't know if he is here forever but Dad named him Casper so for now I guess I have a baby brother.Come visit me, Casper, "Daddy's Angels" Leo and Tigger & Sahara and the Girls.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Wanted to get on a bit before Dad head's to his sisters for turkey. He swears he's bringing some home. We are deifantely giving thanks this year. There are too many things to list but here goes Dad's overall health considering, that he is a stubborn ol fool who got on the computer so he could hear the kitty and find it, that he seems content now, that we live here in America being able to celebrate such a day, family, the shelter and all the kitties there, and lest of all such furriends. I have been so touch and overwheled I can not even begin to express it. Sorry for the late start today. What a night! Dad was feeling good so wanted to get on CC for a little bit. While typing he heard a screeching meow. Over and over. He got scared!! Thought one of us got out somehow. The big boys like to try and sneak out. He called his neighbor for help. The screeching continued. He couldn't wait silly boy. He climed the stairs and got out and followed the cry. He saw it. A tiny kitten was running back and forth. He tried to get it but couldn't. It ran into the garage. The neighbor came over and after a bit they finally got him. Poor thing was all wet, filthy and hungry. He's settled now into Dad's downstaris bathroom. After all the drama dad was exhausted and slept way late. But sure wanted to come say hello to my furriends before he heads off to PT! Physical Therapy went as well as it could. Dad sure hates it and so do I cause he comes home takes his meds and is down for the count. Kinda like me and Savannah after our big girl surgeries. Wanted to update on his progress.....No Therapy tomorrow yeah cause he has to go see his OS but they are making him go Saturday instead...Boo!!! It's all for the best. His PT says his legs are getting more mobile so hopefully the painful braces will come off soon. The painful breathing 'cause of the cracked ribs well that is gonna take a few more moths they say.....One day at a time.... One foot in front of the other. Good Morning
Long time no Purr I know!! I want to apologize for the lack of contact but my Dad was in a very horrible car accident! He was on his way from visiting with grammy and a bad storm hit. Some idiot was talking on their cell phone instead of paying attention and lost control, spun out of control and crashed into dad's car and it went over an enbankment. He was in hospital for three weeks. It's been rough with physical therapy and taking care of us little ones. He still has pain but alot less so will try to keep in touch as much as possible. Thankfully his sister and brother have helped out as much as they can. I sure do miss cuddling with him but I understand. He says hopefully by Christmas he will be able to walk up and down staris without help.....paws crossed! I have missed you. Daisy was the runt of the litter when she was born and the only “Tuxedo” cat. She wasn't expected to live very long because she was so tiny and sickly. Well, her new Meomy took her home to raise and she fooled everyone. She just turned 11 yrs old on Aug. 8th. Today she still is only about the size of a 10 month old kitten, weighing only 6 to 7 lbs. She shares here home with a canine brother, a 12 yr oldShih Tzu named Pogo and a canine sister, also a Shih Tzu, named Gaby who will turn 2 on Nov 11th (veterans day). Daisy had fun chasing her around when she was a small puppy, but later the tables were reversed and Daisy became the "chased".
Daisy is definitely a Meommy’s girl and would rather spend her time lying on her lap than anywhere else. When her human nephew Zachary, one year old, got too big for his bassinet, Daisy claimed it and started using it as her private sleeping area, that is until Mom took it and put it away..
She is a quiet girl who sit’s around unnoticed, watching everything that goes on around her. She loves to sit next to the window and “sunbathe”.

Today we’re traveling to the 13th established state in our US history, Georgia, to find our COTD candidate. Koshka #108393 was found abandoned after his former owners moved away. It was New Year’s Eve & the shy handsome kitty was luckily meeting his new furever mom for the first time. She took him into her home & named him Koshka, which actually means girl kitty in Russian, but she used it for so long that she decided to keep it because he answered so well to it. It suits him rather well in view of how much he loves & protects kittens that come under his nurturing care. Always sweet & gentle, 6 year old Kashka #108393 loves tuna & licks of ice cream from his momcat’s fingers. He’s trying very hard to be more sociable & is becoming more tolerant of visitors. You may have to look up to find him when you visit though because he’s often perched regally on the top of the cat tree in his home. This is the purrfect place for him to keep a close watch on his other 4 siblings & any other interesting things that happen in his happy realm. Don’t get your bonnets set for him though ladies because this handsome guy has already asked the beautiful Abigail Shyla to become his lady fair! She accepted & we’re sure that you’ll be seeing this gorgeous couple together at lots of the CC social events in the future. CoCo’s original owners had to give her up when they lost their home and couldn’t take her to their new one. They very compassionately had her fixed and given shots in hopes she would be more adoptable. It was there at the vet’s where she met her future meowmy, who wasn‘t even looking for another cat. With a little charm and lots of purrs, she was soon on her way to her new, forever home. CoCo loves going out to read the paper with her mom, climbing the pine tree in her front yard, helping post blogs and head butting the hand that is trying to use the mouse. Hehehehe. She even purred throughout her vet visit, even when it was time for her shots! Is she amazing or what? VOTE MRS. WHISKERS #173257 ON WED. 9/15/10 COTD!!
Three years ago Mrs Whiskers was living down the street from her now furever home. She lived with a houseful of kids and a Grampa (who really didn’t like her that much)..She jumped up on cabinets and did the stuff that all kitties usually do but Grampa was not amused and threatened to put her outside. Not wanting her to be an outdoor kitty, the kids took her up the street to the Cat Lady’s (Mom Deb’s) house with 17 other indoor kitties…At first Mrs Whiskers escape thru a hole in a window screen but after Mom Deb put up a “pet proof” screen, Mrs Whiskers decided to give up the excaping idea. Her new Meomy Deb had her fixed and got all the required shots for her. Before this though, Mrs Whiskers had a daughter who still lived with the kids down the street. Well, the daughter had kittens last summer and the kids were able to give all away except one. They begged Mom Deb to please take the little boy, Mrs Whiskers grandson ( who looks a lot like her BTW). Well, Mom Deb said “sure, why not?” So again her kitty family grew.
Mrs Whiskers has been living with Mom Deb for 3 years now and has never been sick and really loves her furever home and her Meomy. There are really no rules there so she is free to jump on the counter whenever and as often as she likes. She still looks forward to the visits she gets from the kids who she originally lived with. Yep, she is a real happy kitty now and even has a boyfriend who goes by the name of Exit…
