My Beautiful Angel Yum,

I'm coming by with a bag of hot bagels & homemade catnip butter for you to enjoy this morning. I tied a sun dipped "Missing you in the tuna can" vote to the handle. Mom is going to visit her girlfriend, Marianne, for lunch before she goes over to the Nursing Home. She hasn't seen her in several months so wants to catch up a little. Our Aunt is adjusting to the Nursing Home and trying to take it one day at a time. Obviously, some days are better than others. Mom is still trying to straighten the little stuff out for her. Our Aunt's speech & confusion have cleared up tremendously but the paralysis on the left side still remains. She is working hard in therapy. Mom wanted me to come by and say hello this morning so she can try to get to sleep a little earlier tonight. Please send our best to your Mom. Perhaps they can have a cup of coffee soon.

Dearest Sweet Angel Yum Yum,

I hope you had a wonderful day. I must share Mom's attempt to donate blood today. After 8am Mass she went next door to the Rectory to donate blood. She filled out the paperwork, donated and left. All in record time which thrilled her because she needed to be at the Nursing Home by 10am. Mom quickly walked to the car since it was pouring out. As she put the key in the ignition she saw her hand was covered in blood. Even quicker than she walked to the car she went back to the Blood Drive with her arm straight up in the air. She told them that her arm was still bleeding. As they took off her windbreaker there was blood all over. Her jacket, jeans, sneakers were soaked. The floor didn't fair that well either. Why donate one pint of blood when you can give two? MOL! Sadly, the second pint of blood didn't count. Fortunately, Mom was super cool about it and didn't pass out. Needless to say, she had to stop home and change her clothes. When she got to the Nursing Home she gave our Aunt the shirt they gave her for donating. Talk about adding a little excitement to your morning!

With that I'll close by singing... Rain Rain Go Away… Please come back another Day! MOL! I'm sending gentle thoughts your way for a peaceful & pleasant day tomorrow my Darling ~

Recently a cat loving family had their red female cat, Angel Rhuby cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The cat mom of this family decided she would like to adopt another red female and as luck would have it, there was Rosie at the Petsmart Adoption Center. Rosie #252822 and her new mom bonded instantly and Rosie came to her new home that day. Rosie was at the shelter for over two months and was a bit wild. She didn't like being kept in a cage and would fight with the shelter workers when they tried to put her back in her cage. This was a big reason why Rosie #252822 wasn't adopted sooner; she was scared and the people looking at her were not patient with her until her new mom came along. Now at her new home Rosie #252822 is a cuddle cat with her daddy and loves to play with her brother Yogi. She gets along with the rest of her furry siblings and is a happy cat. Rosie #252822 will not eat dry food but she will eat any kind of wet food. She doesn't like dry treats either! Rosie loves to play with her furry mouse and the laser light. Rosie #252822 is happily spoiled now in her new home and we are very happy she has found a wonderful loving home. Rosie would be so honored to have a COTD badge to display on her page. My Darling Angel Yum Yum,

I want to take time tonight to honor those serving in the Armed Forces. These brave men and woman guard the freedom of this nation and the peace of the free world. Please continue to keep our soldiers & Sister in your thoughts and prayers. Mom uploaded a new picture of Samantha on our pages.

We hope your Mom is almost recovered from the time difference and her vacation. We can only imagine how much fun she had. Mom still smiles when she sees her postcards hanging on the refrigerator! I was hoping to get to the Arena last night but my purr-sonael secretary didn't make it home in time. Our Aunt asked Mom to stay until her medication came so Mom said sure. She started voting from her cell phone [which takes fur-ever] but couldn't attempt blogging at the Arena. Our Aunt is making small & steady progress with her speech & her confusion is clearing up. She is working hard in PT/OT & Speech and is getting stronger. The left arm is not cooperating but she's taking it one day at a time. With that I'm going to float up a basket of chocolate croissants & salmon flavored butter for you to enjoy tomorrow morning. I love you Sweetheart!

I'm coming by to wish you a very Happy Anniversary! It seems hard to believe I asked you to be my Gal back on November 14,2010 ~

That's 912 days we've spent together as a couple.
Which is 130 weeks and 2 days.

That's 2 years and 181 days, including 1 leap year,
or 2 years, 25 weeks and 6 days.

In other words, that's 30 months!!!

I know I could have said Happy 30th Month Anniversary to start with but I thought this was a lot more fun. wow angel ping and et says the fish wrap features a new place called the tonkinese toad and they have everything from fowl to fish entrees. they want us all to take angel miss maggie out for a good celebratory brunch

Mom is doing ok. She still hasn't made it through a day without crying for me. But there are times when she can think of me and remember happy times. She still hasn't put me in my web but that will probably take a little while. She doesn't want to spill me. I am sitting on the mantle with Angel Daddy right now. She got one of those necklaces that she can put a little of me in so I will always be with her. I know she wants to fill it so she can wear it but the thought of opening the container still gets to her. It took almost a year before she put Daddy in his.

Today was one of those days that were simply beautiful. Clear, sunny skies baked by the warm sun. Mom opened all the windows for us when she came home. I hope your day was as marvelous.

Thank you so much for the kind card. It makes me feel better about having to leave my mom when she so did not want me to go knowing how she is loved and cared for by our CC friends. I felt so welcomed at the bridge when I saw you and Rhuby and all the other Angels there to great me. I dont know if mom will be able to do my kitty mail. Its not that she wants to forget me its just that it still hurts so much. Maybe she can do hockey for me and let me visit my girl friend Misty. I will leave you with one of moms favorite stories about me. Someone had broken the back window of the truck and mom had to drop it off to get it fixed. It was going to take several hours so they offered to give us a ride home. As we walked out of the repair shop I headed straight for our truck. Mom said we arent taking our truck Sparky we are going in that other red one. I immediately changed direction and headed for the other truck. The man who was taking us home was dumbfounded. He asked if I understood everything mom says. My litter box is in the king cab part behind the seat. This truck had the same style cab. I started to go to the back of the seat and mom said Sparky your litter box isnt back there. I stopped and came and laid back down on moms lap. The man was amazed. He said that cat really does understand everything you say.

It was still in the low 50s but we were thrilled to sit on our window seats and let the slightly chilly breeze tingle our whiskers. I kept pretending I was in Florida sitting poolside on your lanai.

Mom will definitely call tomorrow. Just let me now how early she can call. Dad has a lot of paperwork to still get done this week so he'll tackle that at the kitchen table. Mom will deal with the litter boxes & morning chores and then call. She'll try to get up as early as she can. Dad loves to stay up late during his vacation as then sleeps in a bit.He said it's sure better than getting up at 4:30 each morning.

My Sweet Angel Yum Yum,

I'm coming by with a box of catnip covered Matzos and HUGE thank yous for wishing my Dad a Happy Passover. They had a really nice time seeing everyone.

Mom is jealous your Mom is heading back to Hawaii. She reminded our Dad that they were suppose to go there 31 years ago. Even Sister spent four months there! All kidding aside, we're thrilled she's getting a well deserved vacation.

Mom's not sure if they're still going down to visit Samantha at the moment so please let us know when would be a good time to get together for a cup of coffee. Perhaps you can give us two choices and we'll work around our Dad. If Mom is here, she would like to aim for Wednesday.

With that I have to run Sweetheart. Mom is falling asleep and I still haven't mastered typing on the keyboard by myself. MOL! Have a very peaceful evening my Love ~

My Darling Angel Yum Yum ~
I missed your message until after I refreshed the page and you had left. Mom can't schedule a coffee date for later in the week yet. We know we're celebrating Passover tomorrow evening in New Jersey. My Parents may be going down to Fort Bragg on Wednesday but they don't for sure. Our sister is hopefully closing on her House Thursday but that date has changed three times already. Mom will fill your Mom in on everything else when they talk. Today is the first day of Dad's vacation so he's very happy. With that, I will close for now. Mom is trying to watch the end of "The Bible". I will keep you posted on her schedule. My schedule on the other hand is wide open to "hop" down for a tuna can visit.

HERE IS A SHOUT OUT FROM THE BROWN FAMILY SIX PACK TO SAY GOOD MORNING TO ALL OF OUR VERY DEAR FURREVER FURRIENDS!!!

MOM SURE HAD FUN SCOOPING TODAY, MOL!!! WHILE SHE WAS DOING THE DASDARDLY DEED, YUK!, MOL, THE LINE WAS 3 DEEP WAITING FOR THE BOXES!! MY THE CHASE WAS ON TODAY TO BE THE FIRST ONE TO DIRTY THE LITTER, MOL!! THIS SHOULD BE AN OLYMPIC EVENT ALONG WITH LONG DISTANCE KITTY LITTER TOSSING BY THE WAY ZACHARY AND MONTY THROW THE LITTER AROUND!! MOM SAYS THAT IT IS A MIRACLE THAT HER AND DAD DON'T GET "KITTY LITTER" LUNG FROM INHALING ALL THAT DUST FROM THE LITTER, MOL!!

NOW ON A SERIOUS NOTE. MOM AND DAD TOOK MONTGOMERY TO THE VET YESTERDAY AND GOT SOME DISTURBING NEWS. MONTY'S CANCER IS NOW SPREADING AT AN ALARMING RATE AND THE GROWTH IS GROWING INTO HIS MOUTH, RATHER THAN OUT AS IT WAS BEFORE. HE HAD SUCH A GOOD VISIT LAST MONTH IT WAS A DOUBLE SHOCK THAT IT IS TURNING SO BAD SO QUICK. BUT THAT IS THE WAY OF CANCER. NOTHING IS GUARANTEED. WE HAVE TO REALLY WATCH NOW THAT THE GROWTH DOESN'T MOVE TOO FAR ACROSS MONTY' MOUTH AND CHOKE OFF HIS WINDPIPE. THE BEST WE CAN DO AT THIS POINT NOW IS TO KEEP HIM AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE AND TO WATCH THE GROWTH'S PROGRESS. SURGERY IS OUT OF THE QUESTION AS DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE CANCER, SQUAMOUS CELL, IF IT IS DISTURBED IT WILL GROW BACK WITH A VENGANCE AND TAKE HIM QUICKER AND MORE PAINFULLY.

AS THE ANTIBIOTICS DO NOT WORK ANYMORE, THEY HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED AND THE PIROXICAM HAS BEEN REPLACED BY PREDNISONE TO HELP HOWEVER IT CAN TO RETARD ITS PROGRESS. BUT THE RESULTS WILL BE THE SAME. MONTY WILL BE GONE BEFORE SUMMER.

That is smart since a treat may be involved if your name is being called, and Percy #245206 enjoys Temptation treats. She gets a little upset, though, if she is expecting a treat and she is ignored. Percy #245206 can use her paws like furry hands and manages to open things. Percy likes to sit on the back of the recliner and watch her family as she relaxes and observes what is going on.
