Where I hang out: Mommie put a bed in the front window where I like to nap!
My favorite grubs: Anything Seafood...I see food and that's all she wrote!
My pet peeves: Too much furminator grooming! A little is fine...but Mommie gets carried away!
What I love about my owners: I love her, Daddy and Sammi and JoJo...not sure about the dog children, though...MOL!
My cat hobbies: Eat! Isn't it obvious??? MOL ♥

How We Met
Mr Mooch was sitting there in his cage...he was due to go to the Bridge before the rescue got him. He looked so much like Stashu Kitty, that I started crying right then and there! He had to be ours, and so he is! We are blessed!

Thank you so much for welcoming me to the Cat Channel and making me feel at home. I feel like I fit right in because I know so much about all of you from my sister, CC.
How are you doing? Are you enjoying some nice spring weather? It's been really nice and warm here except for the past few days which got downright cold! We even had snow predicted a couple of nights ago but fortunately it didn't get cold enough for that.
Anyway, it's beautiful here with the flowers blooming and everything green and I'm so very happy that the cementing of the new patio is all done. That was tiring! Mama worked two nights in a row. But it was worth it. Hard to blog and cement at the same time though.
Melian helped a lot. We have this huge ground compactor. It's about twice the size of a lawnmower and twice as loud. It didn't bother her one bit. She would stand right next to it as it was pounding the ground. I also helped a bit. I wanted to help smooth out the cement with my paws but mama yelled at me. So, I ran over all the cement and put lots of footprints in it. Mama was not happy and she smoothed them all out. And then I was told I wasn't allowed outside till morning. By then, it was too late. I couldn't make a mark! Melian tried too.
They also went on a really fun hike in the mountains 2 weeks ago. They walked for about 6 hours and found snow up there! Mama was kind of limping around though after hiking and then making the cement form, and then pouring the cement. She makes such a big fuss about things! I'm not tired in the least! Oh wait, maybe that's because I didn't hike? hehe
I finally updated my page to include information of how we met(i.e. my family and me, Tom). I'm not a new kitty to the family however I am new to the Cat Channel as mama can hardly keep up with helping one kitty blog let alone all of us. With CC gone now there are only 3.
Mama has a fantasy horse, Shadowfax, running on the HC this month and last month she was helping out Pixie Dust on the HC, so she's been hogging the computer all this time for hoofed blogs! As always, I question her priorities.
I hope you have a wonderful Memorial day and weekend. We remember all of our fallen heroes, both those who served in battle and those who were personally close to us, human and animal. Rest in peace, CC.

Happy Easter!
I see that your mama is getting better! That is the most wonderful news! We are keeping Jeff in our prayers too. I know that his ordeal has been trying for you all.
Happy Easter to you and I hope you had a wonderful day celebrating! It was nice and warm(ish) here today. A nice change from the snow we had a couple of days ago! I don't mind the snow too much but it does cramp my style!
Please welcome me, Tom, to the Cat Channel! You were the true love of my sister, CC and I am honoured to be keeping her memory alive by continuing her legacy of blogging here on the CC.
I am 8 years old and will turn 9 on the 13th of this month. I have posted lots of photos of me including kitten photos because I was just so irresistible. Well, I'm still irresistible! And handsome too!
CC always used to talk about you! She was a bit timid but I'm a bold guy and I like to tease the dogs. Sometimes that is a mistake but it's worth it.

This is by far got to be the hardest blog I've written tonight since you were CC's sweetheart. Thank you for your kind words and heartfelt condolences for me during this time of loss. I'm still in a bit of shock because it happened so suddenly. CC had been frail and had a few health issues but I thought she'd be around for a few more years. One moment she was here and then suddenly, she was gone. I don't want to go into too much detail. It's too painful to write about and I know you understand.
CC was a bit younger than Tiny (DC 12997) but they instantly became fast friends. They were so cute together and taught each other all the tricks of their specific trades. I will always treasure the memories we made together. Now she is with Tiny again.
And Acorn is with them too. I'm sorry I haven't been around the past month but I have been so sad about her tragic passing on New Year's Eve that I haven't been blogging much. Too much sadness to start off a New Year.
I don't know yet what I'm going to do about blogging on here. I don't think CC will be writing as an angel. It's just too hard. For now I will write from my point of view. Perhaps I will add another family cat to CC's profile. Or I may have Melian, my dog, write from her point of view on here. It will be easier to keep up if I do that.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know that I'm a few days late but I just didn't have a chance to log on and write! I guess you were pretty busy too with family and food. Not necessarily in that order.
We had a great day and the humans stuffed themselves so much that they're still complaining about being full. We've had some pretty lousy cold and slushy weather but on Thanksgiving the sun came out and it warmed up a bit. So, they all went for a long walk. I stayed home and snuggled in bed. I do that a lot this time of year.
You won't believe what mama did again. Well, shortly after I last wrote to you, she was riding Prince and he exploded again! And yep, off she came. She was only unconscious for a few seconds, a minute at most, this time but she was totally confused. She was talking gibberish and repeating things over and over. She doesn't remember much from that evening. So, her head is all jumbled still and she has a headache. When will she learn? 3 concussions in 4 months is not wise. And each time I think she gets a little stupider!
Anyway, back to better subjects. I'm doing fine, eating and sleeping and generally taking it easy. I guess it's almost a hibernation but occasionally it warms up enough and I go out and sunbathe a bit. It feels good to stretch my legs.

Happy Birthday!!!
I hope you had a wonderful birthday, Moochie. I'm so sorry I missed it. You know that concussion mama got last month? Well, she did it again only much worse. Prince bucked her off and she landed on her head and was knocked out for half an hour. She was rushed to the hospital where they asked her difficult questions and she hardly knew who she was. She's now recovering from a brain injury (not that I noticed much difference) and is finally able to think a bit better now. The doctor told her another hit to the head like that anytime soon could be her last. Yikes!
Anyway, that's why we haven't been around. Always something, huh?
