How We Met
Beau was at the Humane Society as a kitten and my family found him sitting in his cage, sadly staring at everyone with his head tilted to the side. We couldn't bear to leave him there so we brought him home, thinking he would be a mellow cat. In fact he turned out to be very hyperactive, and he lived 15 wild and happy years with us before dying in September 2006.

Hi Beau,
I am mom and dads 1st siamese, now they know what everyone talks about how siamese are talkative and need special attention. We request the honor of your presence at our family Thanksgiving Feast. Dress is casual. Please R.S.V.P. if you plan to attend, and select the meat for the first appetizer. Lizard Tails, Farm Raised Possum Cubed, or Squirrel W/Crushed Nuts. Napping cushions or pillows will provided for all attending. Kitties having special needs should specify same for accommodations. Please make sure you make your selection known to the chef at the mouse tank upon arrival. Private game room and trees will be provided, please feel free to suggest games. Please arrive November 22nd by 2 P.M., dinner will commence at 3. All out of town kitties should advice as to pick up requirements at the airport, train and bus stations. Over night reservations can be arranged at the local Casa Di Gato Inn. (800)- EAT-MICE. Security will be provided Cataglia and Catleone Families.
MARSHMELLOW & FAMILY WILL PROVIDE A BANQUET HALL
Volunteer human servants and chaperones are welcome. Separate menu of course.

How are you this fine day? It's cold here again. The sun is out today finally, but the wind is so cold. Mama tells us it's lucky that we don't go outside. I'm not sure about that, it looks like it could be fun out there. We will just look out the windows! We know that mama know best cause she love us so much. We will meow at you later! We stopped by and didnt realize Beau had crossed rainbow bridge. When our dad lost his tabby of 16 years a friend sent him this writing. We hope it brings peace and happiness to you all, in deepest sympathy. Missy, Taz, Ole Gray and dad......Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Sorry to hear Beau died, but it sounds like he lived a long and happy life. My brother Slider is also black siamese mixed. My mom works at a vet hospital and she sees a lot of kittens but not very many live that long. Thanks for visiting me. Another Black Beauty!
Hi Beau! I'm Wicca and I'm a longhaired black cat from Canada! Your brother Willow meowed me a note, and now I'm busy meeting all your four footed family! You look just like my "cousin" Guinness! He lived with us for four years until his Dad, Momcat's oldest "big kitten" got his own place again. It was fun while it lasted! We black cats have to stick together! I'm a pretty mellow kitty, preferring to lie in the sun, or on the wool sweater Momcat puts on the bed for me, but my little "brother", Snorky Bob is a real little hellion! He gets into all sorts of trouble and constantly ventures into the NO CATS zones. There aren't very many of those, but Snorkers finds them! Come visit us sometime! You're a georgous black kitty. Say hi to my lost siblings Molson, Tamworth and Peggy-Sue up there in Kitty Heaven with you!

Hi,
Thanks for visiting me, Muffin. That's funny. You had Beau for 15 years? My mom had a big red and cream male tabby for 15 years too. He's the one that inspired her to get me. I'm a pure-bred red and cream Maine Coon. J.J. was probably part Maine Coon. I'm actually very sweet and loving. J.J. was a difficult cat. When she got him, he pouted all the time, and bit. The vet was so terrified of him that he wore big leather protections for his arms when J.J. went to see him. J.J. used to attack all the feral cats on the other side of the glass door, and, finally, he sank his fangs into my mother's instep and she had to go to the hospital because it turned black. She didn't talk to J.J. for 6 whole weeks after that (I can't imagine not kissing my mama every morning when she gets up and every night when she goes to sleep, and in between). Anyway, he kept begging to be brushed. She finally gave in, and he stopped biting her, but only because he was afraid of losing her. Then he was diagnosed with diabetes. Once he got insulin, he was like a different cat, with everybody but the vet. He went for 6 years on the insulin, but developed liver cancer, which the vet never diagnosed until it was too late to do anything about it. Well, that last year, my mama would lie on the floor next to J.J. and pray with him. By the time he died, he was the most loving, peaceful creature you'd ever want to meet, except for the last week of his life, when there were terrible thunder storms. Then he raced up into the windows and stood in the rain coming through the screen for several hours. He was a character, but I guess my mom really loved him. A psychic told us that he came back to live with us as a spirit cat. You can see him prowling around grinning from ear to ear. Snow
Hi Beau!
Your mom wrote to me about giving a bowl of snow to Indigo. We don't need a bowl brought to us here because our house gets all the snow thrown against the front door. Whenever anybody comes inside, we get to taste it and play in it. We all love to do that, although, personally, I would never set foot outside. I was born outside, and I was so glad to be rescued that I never want to go out there again. What do you do when it snows? Handsome Beau
I can tell from the pictures that Beau was a really special cat. He an Chloe would have been such great friends. Thanks for visiting her and telling me about Beau. It's hard to let go but, it sure helps to chat with people who know what you're going through. It's tough.
