The Boss is in negotiations with the CHEESE HOCKEY LEAGUE. This league consists of famouse and important mice, and they are interested but cautious. Considering the number of mousepucks that get eaten during a game, the CHL commissioner wants reassurances that THEIR hockey players won't get eaten. Seems logical. We hope to have this ironed out by the March schedule.
And speaking of eating Mousepucks, the Commish also received a formal complaint from MOAS (pronounced mouse)-Mousepuck Official Advocacy Syndicate. They think we need to give out fines payable to the OIMP (old & infirmed mousepuck) fund in addition to on ice penalties. I believe the Boss's response was "Give me a break. It's a mouse!" More on that to follow.

Things are looking up! 50% of the top ten teams are now cats, and only 1 is in the bottom of the fish tank. It's been a rough week though. Concussions, upper & lower body injuries (not too mention tail sprains), broken wrist, leg, & foot, bruised feet & egos, some human flu, and the particularly virulent, orange flu. ARE YOU VACCINATED YET? The arena vet office will be open before the next game for your convenience; it's FREE and part of your MHL contract.
Now to the important stuff. League standings.. Rodent Rippers tied for 1st with COL at 18 points. #5-TCLAN-15.....#6 FF-15....#7TIMs-14...#10. OC-13...#13. CC-12...#16. Hi Tigger!
How have you been my furriend? Its been too long! Hope all is well with you and your family! We're all doing good here! Mom has been super busy at work and her computer crashed but work has slowed down some now and the computer is fixed so she has time to help us blog again! I'm glad, I've missed my furriends on here! We've been having birthday celebrations lately! Snickers turned 5 in May, KG and Shy turned 7 in June and Tiny just turned 9 on Monday! Mom also fostered some baby bunnies recently. She just let them go this past weekend in some blackberry bushes! She still takes them lettuce from the garden and someone is eating it if they aren't! Back on blogs from 5/28/09 now. Sorry to hear the foster kitty was not doing well and may have FIP! That is nasty. Mom adopted Ricky with Dean and he crossed the Rainbow Bridge five months later from FIP. That was nice of you to give blood to help the kitty. I pray the kitty is okay or did not suffer. I'm sure by now you know the OC is out of the playoffs and the KA and RR are duking it out! I sent those dates out. Great job all season team. It has been a real priviledge to serve as your Captain this year. We have had alot of fun and made lots of good friends. You have always been good sports and given me your best on the ice. I thank you. We made it almost to the last round. Great job. Absolutely! I guess you kitties didn't hear, maybe you left early last night. Instead of kitties from our team filling in opening spots on winning teams, we have decided to keep our orange cats together and the OC has taken over the Chicago Blackhawks and will proceed to round two. we will be playing the Vancouver Canucks, who were the Frisky Predators. Black Bear and Rusty's team. the second round starts this Friday. Tomorrow I will post the new roster with all of our blackhawk players and the schedule. So I hope you and Casper and Merlin can continue to attend the OC games. We will be adding Mouse and Bear if they are still interested. I thought one of them expressed interest last night. Unfortunately the Flames managed to lose on home ice last night. The Blackhawks beat the OC 4-1 and have knocked us out of the playoffs. I want you all to know everyone played great all season and I am very proud of you all. It has been a pleasure serving as your Captain.
