Our esteemed Buddy aka Ron suggested that maybe we should start earlier-say 7:30 pm. The reason we began at 8 pm et was due to Sam's Mom's work hours.

I could make the 7:30 I am usually there anyway my concern is for members like Misse CA and others in the states to the west of me some of whom barely make it as it is and most of the times they are late. Hello I am Nibbie one of the Chubbie Cubbies. I am checking on our member to see if you wish to be on the team this season. As far as I know Bandito is going to be our Captain again this year mom just has extra time so I am setting up the roster for Bandito.
One other note we are having practice every Tues and Weds. If you want to come they are on page 121904 same time as always. .

I'm not 100% sure I am 100% RB either, but all the Blues on CC told me I am one, so mom changed it to that...I may be part RB, I am not silver white in color. Maybe your mom can go by KALI's page and take a look at her...momma was told by a few CC kitties she is a Maine Coon, but from what mom knows about them, they are large cats and Kali might weigh 5 pounds wet if that...MOL...she's quite small under all that fur she has....The Vet said she what you call a DLH {Domestic Long Hair} maybe your mom can tell my mom what Kali might be...have a pawsome night...purrs~~~Winston>^..^<

Great job all season team. It has been a real priviledge to serve as your Captain this year. We have had alot of fun and made lots of good friends. You have always been good sports and given me your best on the ice. I thank you. We made it almost to the last round. Great job. Very sorry your team, the Chubbie Cubbies, was knocked out of the playoffs as we were. Just checking, you and Bear are interested in joining your brothers on the OC? I thought that is what I heard last night. We will retain our name, Orange Crush, but will gladly welcome two talented non-orange cats who are related to three of our team mates. I do have two positions open. I will assign Blackhawk positions tomorrow and pass along to all players. Our schedule will be: Rink games on Friday 5/1/09, Sunday 5/3/09, Wednesday 5/6/09, Friday 5/8/09, Sunday 5/10/09 Tuesday 5/12/09 and Friday 5/15/09. Only 2 more nights of ROUND 1 games. Tonight the Orange Crush face the CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS. OC is behind 3-2 and needs to win tonight. They are playing on home ice so that should help. The FIERCE FELINES are still beating off the ferocious skating and attacking ability of the RED HATS. The league leaders, FF, are behind 3-2 at this time and need a win to stay alive. Tomorrow is game 7 of the CHubbie Cubbie @ CAR games and the TIMtations @ FLYING TIGERS. Crossing my tiny frail paws for the boss's team. He may run me over with his Audi if they lose. AND please stop by the Office page, and tell Cmsn. caser that you would LOVE to play on a round 2 team. APRIL 24-Games #4 have been completed and 3 teams have swept their series. The KITTY AVALANCHE beat CBJ-4-1, 4-0, 4-1, 6-5. VAN beat STL 2-1, 3-0,3-2, 3-2. The SLAMMERS beat the always competitive FRISKY PREDATORS 4-2, 5-1, 4-2, 4-1. THE FLYING TiGERS lead the TIMtations and the RED HATS are confounding the FIERCE FELINES in a surprise show of strength and skill 3-1 in the series. How this can be is a mystery to this writer and his boss, the commissioner and undervalued goalie of the TIMtations, is not in a good mood. THE RODENT RIPPERS & G. LIONS and CHUBBIE CUBBIES & CAR are locked in the same battle. FRIDAY Night is game 5 and could determine if any team goes home or stays to play another day. You guys were awesome!!!...we won and I am so proud and happy...I couldn't make the game tonight..we would have but as soon as we got home from dinner mom got a phone call from her g/f in CT...and they hadn't talked for awhile so as I paced back and forth...mom kept giving me this look like...Bandito go sit somewhere till I am off this phone!....so I sat in her lap...making happy feet which mom totally hates cause my nails need to be trimmed, but did that work NOOOOOOOOO....So I went over to the dogs water dish and started pawing all the water out all over the floor....but she still wouldn't get off that darn phone...so I decided okay now would be a good time to go stink up the litter box, that always gets her moving....heeeeheeee. ...well it did, but we were still too late...rats!...anyway good job and see you Sunday night if you can make it...hugs and luvs...Captain O'Fritoman

Just returning from our game at the arena...I want to post a message from acting Commissioner Casey about the forthcoming play schedules for our hockey games; hehemm Caser here....In light of a variety of concerns, I would like to propose this setup going forward from this Sunday. We will have active MHL nights on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The NHL games from the day before will be played. On Monday, Thursday,and Saturday just the scores,and the 3 stars will be posted and there will be NO HOST. Goalie stats would be optional. This way, there are free nights and on Saturday, you can go karoake at the Hat Trick Bar or go on a date. Captains, please send this to your teammates for comment at #106152. Also if you would like to host once in a while, tell me what day,or be a substitute editor, please leave that info also. Thanks for the info. We will make sure that the vet does that. She was one hungry little thing - the first 2 days, she literally gulped and inhaled the vast amount of food mom put down for her. If she did have a home, she doesn't seem to be too concerned about being away from it. Mom and Aunt Linda also have a reputation for helping kitties in need - so they are also suspicious that someone may have dropped her off so that we would take her it -- OH WELL, WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THESE SILENT PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO SHAME! Just curious, how did you come by the name Mouse? All my cats have "la" at the end of their names because mine does, too. I am Sheila and the cats are Lela, Kayla, Lola and Syla and some day when I have kids they will have a "la" at the end of their name, too. It's a family tradition. :)

Mouse and Bear,
FYI our new team page is #111090 if you want to check it out. It has the list of our games and shows the next one as being this Wednesday, 02/04/2009, followed by this Saturday and Sunday. Mom says we will be there on Wednesday, but she doesn't know if we will make Saturday or Sunday. She and Aunt Linda are going shopping on Saturday and on Sunday they are are going into Phx to a cat show and then going on to "The Chocolate Affaire" in Glendale (just what it sounds like - lots of chocolate). If she is home, we will be at the games Sat and Sun, but she kind of doubts we will be. The 2009 MHL team roster page is #121411. So far, we have not been assigned our team members yet, but I'm sure we will be sooner or later. Also, I found out today that they have made up a new page where we will be playing hockey the second season, which is #121409 - so if you come to the game on Wed, I guess check both that page and the old one of 43885 to see where the games are being played.
