Thank you for coming by on my Adopti-Day,
My Darling Booger & family! It is a very special day for me, because it took a lot of time and effort for my family to save my life. They had to make arrangements to have me brought up to MI from Cincinnati and then drive all the way to Detroit to pick me up. They did all this because I was too afraid and feral to go to PetSmart to be adopted and I would have been put down if they hadn't agreed to take me. My foster Mom would have been heartbroken, and Mom couldn't bear that or the thought that I would die simply for being scared. So you see, this is a *very* special day for me! EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 55 & low was 41 this morning, now it's 52 with humidity 71% & wind is 18 MPH SSW. Thursday's suppose to be Showers & High 58.

♥ On Monday morning, 5/20, momfolded 3 loads of laundry, then she mowed the back yard while dad loaded his truck with scrap wood to haul away. When mom was done she then helped dad with the second load of wood then they were going thru piles of metal, wire, nuts, bolts, etc to put in separate piles for the scrap yard and the garbage dump. That was a long hard and hot day!!!!
♥ On Tuesday, mom got a phone call from Pet Food Stamps letting mom know they received the proper paper work and will contact mom once they verify it all to let her know if we qualify. Mom's xcited about it!!!!
♥ This morning, after mom gave me my anxiety pill then fed me my Fancy Feast can food with MiraLax mixed in it, I ate it all up like I normally do then I went potty. Mom scooped out the litter boxes then when she came into dad's room to give Sassee 10605 her Dasuquin pills and seen someone got barfy on the floor and knew it was me cuz it was Fancy Feast and dry food. Mom checked me out and said to just rest which I do anytime I don't feel well. I did come out once this afternoon to get a few bites of the dry food then went back to dad's bed to sleep more.

Oahu - day 3
Today we will try something VERY different. Picture yourself seated next to a window in an airplane flying 14,000 feet over Oahu’s North Shore. The view is magnificent, but right now you’re a little distracted. The thought of jumping out of a plane is enough to sidetrack anyone — but that’s just what you’re about to do. You’re not going to jump solo, of course. You signed up for a tandem dive, and your instructor will be right there with you. You’ve been properly trained before boarding the plane, and your instructor has jumped hundreds of times, but the riskiness of it is still enough to leave your heart pumping.
Lady Dolly and King Mike are skilled at this sport and will jump in tandem, not with an instructor. Watch how it’s done. There is a picture of their jump on my page. Check out those two crazy kits.
You and your instructor, who is attached to you like a Siamese twin, shuffle to the edge of the hatch. It’s now or never, so out you go. Words cannot describe the sensation of jumping out of an airplane at 8,000 to 14,000 feet. How do you explain fear for a mere moment, soon to be replaced by exhilaration that cannot be compared to anything you’ve ever done?
The “drop” is over. Now you’re floating, enjoying the view. If you’re game, the instructor will perform some twirls and stalls, and even let you “fly” the parachute by yourself. Suddenly, you notice the ground is coming up sooner than you’d planned. The instructor pulls up at precisely the right moment and settles you gently on the ground for a perfect landing.
You can expect the adrenalin rush to last for a while. After all, you just jumped out of an airplane.
Time to watch someone else risking their neck. We attend a polo match on the beach at Mokule‘ia and see a historic game that has been played in Hawai‘i for more than a century. Considered one of the fastest, roughest and most dangerous sports played today, polo was brought to Hawai‘i in the 1880s. The polo field at Mokule‘ia is the only one in the world that is located on a beach. Here we have a tailgate picnic, play ball and fly kites on the field during halftime while watching a skydive performance. Live music takes the stage when the match has ended.Come visit me, Q. hi bart and fam
wow we had some more nasty storms at home last night and it got one of our outlets that has a breaker and all the outlets on one side of the kitchen dont work and momma had to pull the fridge out and run a heavy drop cord to it.
momma also said she saw on the news this morning that a lady in oklahoma foune her two precious kitties after searching the debris for hours. one has a broken leg and the other is just fine. sure did put a big smile on momma's face
momma ordered and inspiron 15.6" with touch screen from dell. sure hope she likes it and it gets here soon so we can get to our hockey games again before playoffs are over.

Hi Bart & Fursibs
Another scorcher today..we hit the mid 80's again. It was 90* yesterday and this is only May, can't imagine what July will be like.
They keep calling for rain, but it never comes, so mom keeps waterin' the flowers outside. We do not like the hose, so we come upstiars when she does that, she doesn't get us wet, but we are afraid the water will get us anyway.
Mom is all done painting her dresser and vanity in her room. She ordered a new white chest of drawers yesterday. Mom ordered a new headboard last month and it is white, so instead of replacing all the furniture in her bedroom, she painted it all white, but the chest of drawers is so damaged and the drawers are falling apart, so she ordered a new one.
Thanks also for my COTD win and my birthday wishes and gifts. I know this is late, but with 6 kitties, mom is usually behind with our blogs. I was pleasantly purr-prised by my COTD win, I was not expecting that at all. Thank you!!!

Oahu - Day 2
Pearl Harbor, Honolulu … This memorial is a fitting tribute to those who lost their lives on a fateful day which launched the US into World War II when the Japanese military attacked on December 7, 1941.
Wikipedia tells us Pearl Harbor is a lagoon harbor on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, west of Honolulu. Much of the harbor and surrounding lands is a United States Navy deep-water naval base. It is also the headquarters of the United States Pacific Fleet. The attack on Pearl Harbor by the Empire of Japan on Sunday, December 7, 1941 brought the United States into World War II. On December 8, 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared war on Japan. In return, December 11, 1941, Germany and Italy declared war on the United States.
The USS Arizona Memorial is the most recognized icon of World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument, a unit of the National Park Service. Access is gained through the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Upon entering the visitor center, we head to the NPS Tickets & Information desk where we obtain free tickets for the USS Arizona Memorial program. While waiting for the tour to begin, we rent an audio tour headset, and explore the bookstore and exhibit galleries.
We watch a 75-minute program in one of two theaters. It includes a brief introduction to set the tone for the visit and a 23-minute documentary film which includes actual footage of the attack. After the film, we climb aboard a Navy-operated shuttle boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. Note: There are no public restroom facilities on the Memorial so we make quick stops before boarding our shuttle.
The Memorial spans the USS Arizona, a sunken WWII battleship which is the final resting place for most of her 1,177 Sailors and Marines killed in the December 7th attack. In the shrine room, we find a marble wall with the names of all of these men. In addition, we see a smaller marble wall, which lists the names of USS Arizona Survivors who, since passing away, have returned to their shipmates by having their ashes interred inside the fourth gun turret by Navy and NPS divers.
It is important to realize this is not a tourist attraction, but a memorial and grave that deserves to be treated with respect and reverence. This is a place of learning, reflection, and quiet contemplation.
Following our Pearl Harbor visit, we dine at a Five Diamond Hawaii Regional Cuisine restaurant, enjoying wonderful fish and local produce. The pineapple here is so very sweet. Tomorrow, we must head for the Dole Plantation.

Oahu ...
Lovely Hawaiian ladies place leis on our necks as we disembark in Honolulu. These are a special gift of aloha - welcome, and love. The ladies receive those made of white ginger or jasmine … our choice. I love jasmine; my choice is simple. Oh, the beautiful fragrance. No wonder everyone wants one of these when in Hawaii. For the men, there are leis of kukui nuts. With our shirts and dresses from Hilo Hatties, we are ready to explore the final island of our Hawaiian adventure.
Here, Hawaii’s timeless beauty blends with the modern luxuries of today. We can swim in the warm waters of world-famous Waikiki one moment, then enjoy the dramatic mountain views of the Nuuanu Pali Lookout another; watch the surfers on the legendary North Shore by day, then dance the night away in vibrant nightlife spots around Honolulu; get a taste of local flavors in Kapahulu one night, then dine at a Five Diamond Hawaii Regional Cuisine restaurant the next.
Our first visit is to 350 acre Diamond Head crater, one of the best-known volcanic craters in the world, whose vantage point offers some incredible panoramas of Honolulu. We choose to start early to avoid the heat of the sun. Diamond Head State Monument encompasses over 475 acres, including the interior and outer slopes of the crater. This broad, saucer-shaped crater was formed about 300,000 years ago during a single, explosive eruption that sent ash and fine particles in the air. As these materials settled, they cemented together into a rock called tuff. The panoramic views of Waikiki and Oahu's south shore from the top are impressive. We will have many gorgeous photos for our memory books. We learn the crater was named Diamond Head by 19th century British sailors who thought they discovered diamonds on the crater's slopes. These "diamonds" were actually shiny calcite crystals that had no value. The volcanic crater, a major Oahu landmark, has been extinct for 150,000 years.
Next we travel to Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the US. It was the official residence of King Kalakaua and Queen Liliuokalani, the last king and queen to rule Hawaii; the monarchy was abolished in 1893. We take the guided tour, which leaves us thinking our own Castle on CC is just as impressive and much more inviting to fun-loving kitties.

Recently a cat loving family had their red female cat, Angel Rhuby cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The cat mom of this family decided she would like to adopt another red female and as luck would have it, there was Rosie at the Petsmart Adoption Center. Rosie #252822 and her new mom bonded instantly and Rosie came to her new home that day. Rosie was at the shelter for over two months and was a bit wild. She didn't like being kept in a cage and would fight with the shelter workers when they tried to put her back in her cage. This was a big reason why Rosie #252822 wasn't adopted sooner; she was scared and the people looking at her were not patient with her until her new mom came along. Now at her new home Rosie #252822 is a cuddle cat with her daddy and loves to play with her brother Yogi. She gets along with the rest of her furry siblings and is a happy cat. Rosie #252822 will not eat dry food but she will eat any kind of wet food. She doesn't like dry treats either! Rosie loves to play with her furry mouse and the laser light. Rosie #252822 is happily spoiled now in her new home and we are very happy she has found a wonderful loving home. Rosie would be so honored to have a COTD badge to display on her page. Good Evening Bart & Peach State Cats
The Woes of Princess O: I am so stressed out...My whole life routine has been disrupted & it's all my Mommy's fault as usual.....I ask you, why must the woman cause me undo stress & upset the delicate balance of my life??...She is so selfish & only thinks about herself...First she had the nerve to stop eating all my favorite things like, cheese puffs, carrot cake, pumpkin muffins, ketchup, I could go on...Now I am alone waiting, waiting, waiting for her to come home in the morning and she is never on time anymore...Listen, my life is tough enough being without her when she works at night, now this...Let me set the stage before the disruption in my life began...It's 7am & I rush to my window sill to wait for Mommy to drive up...Between 7:05 and 7:10am Mommy drives up, parks the cars, gets out & waves at me...I then run to the end table right next to the door & a minute later she comes in and I get kisses, hugs & Greenies...You might think I am waiting at the door because I want my treats but really I love Mommy's kisses on my little head & I give Mommy lots of head butts, purrs & then I get my Greenies...Don't mock me...I really do love my kisses & oh okay, I love my Greenies too...Anyway, here is the new scenario, it's 7am, I run to my window sill, I see Mommy drive up, she gets out of the car & waves to me, I run to the door and no Mommy...Would you believe she never comes thru the door now until 45 minutes to 1 hour later...Well, today I had enough...When Mommy came thru the door I gave her what for...I meowed my displeasure & wouldn't let her kiss me...I was so upset with her...I do not like this new routine...Why, oh why must my Mommy treat me like this...Mommy said she is trying to stay healthy by walking in the morning..She also said she would take me with her to the Boardwalk where she walks if she could get my stroller down the three flights of stairs in our apartment building...Sure she would, the woman always has an excuse...So now when Mommy is due home I have to wait & wait, and wait some more...I am not happy...MOL...Anyway, I guess I have no choice but to adjust to this new schedule...How did I lose control & when did my life start being about Mommy???...It sure is a good thing I am such an adaptable, easy going, sweet natured, loving, tolerant kitty...You know, I wonder if Mommy knows what a good thing she has...I mean after all, how many kitties would let their lives stop being about them & allow their lives to be controlled by their human...Geesh, I'm ashamed I'm a cat, please don't tell anyone about this, it sure makes me look bad..MOL...HKL, where did I go wrong!!!... No dirty dishes! 5-18-13
As if any of us care, actually. Since either our moms or Engine are in charge of clean up. We're in charge of "mess up". :)
Up putting early this morning in the cold is Ana, with a chilling 38 and a putt of 11. Rowing in right behind her is Mimi with J.C. at the helm, delivering a 61 and a putt of 7.
Tucker claims to be heading in the right direction for once, with a 51 and a putt of 6. Paddling along with Mimi's row boat is water boy Steve with a 57 and a pretty lousy putt of 12. Sloshing and galoshing to the Mudmobile with her mud pies, Engine hits a 61 for a putt of 7.
Coming into the clubhouse for a game of pool after his sunny/cold combo of 38 for 11, UBB heads to the basement to look for any remaining Cat Daniels. Bee Gee decides to hit up the vending machines for some Reeses after her dismal 48, and a putt of 12. "Hit" is a figure of speech, Bee Gee....
Mallow rolls her soggy 52 across the green, kicking up those little golf ball rooster tails, for a putt of 7. And finally Bart is stunning in bright green water-wear (does that mean 'raincoat'?) and leaves a 63, for a putt of 9, with the scorer.
And now for the winners:
1st - Tucker, 6. No doubt about it, that's the right direction.
2nd - 3-way tie, Mimi, Engine, and Mallow. And you guys don't even live anywhere NEAR each other!
3rd - Bart, 9. It's the green. How can you lose wearing "putting" green?
O-M-G!! I don't want to be the one to say this, but it looks like Steve and Bee Gee will be on cart duty tonight. It's a good thing tomorrow is Sunday. I doubt there will be a lot of carts in operational condition!
Oh! Speaking of carts, everyone cast your eyes on the bottom of the page and see Tucker's hover cart that we've all heard so much about but we finally just got a picture of. Way cool! Now everyone will want one. Except Engine! Hahhaa!

It's for real!

Evie has her ’56 Ford Fairlane entered in the Mikes May Madness Car Show, Mike (my brother) is in training for the big wing eatin’ contest which happens after the 5K “Run Like a Headless Chicken” run. Molokai
Serene seascapes, unspoiled coastlines, untamed wilderness. We visit Molokai & travel back to a timeless place. Lining the northeast coast are the towering cliffs of the North Shore Pali. At 3,600 to 3,900 feet from sea base to top, they are the tallest sea cliffs in the world; their near-vertical plunge ends 2000 feet below sea level. We step cautiously to the edge to peek over. Whoa, that’s a drop! Later in the day, we do some ocean kayaking along the face of the cliffs; this is amazing beyond belief! We also discover secret, secluded beaches, sea birds, & cascading waterfalls which provide incredible, photogenic scenery
We then hike into the East End’s classic cathedral valley to see Hawaii back in time. It is believed ancient Polynesians settled in lush Halawa Valley as early as 650 AD. This area, half a mile wide and three to four miles deep, and blessed with beautiful vistas and towering waterfalls, is one of the island's most historic areas. Roughly two miles up the trail is the impressive, double-tiered 250-foot Moa’ula Falls. If you’re considering taking a dip into the pool, drop a ti leaf into the water first. Hawaiian legend says that a giant moo (lizard) lives at the bottom of the pool. If the ti leaf sinks, the moo is in no mood for visitors. If the ti leaf floats, it’s safe to enter. Our ti leaves are forming a veritable flotilla, and we slip gratefully into the refreshing pool. Soon we are splashing and playing like … well, kitties.
We have been invited to a luau by the residents of a small village near Maunaloa, birthplace of the hulu. After dining on succulent roast pig, and all the tasty side dishes, we are given grass skirts to put on for a hula lesson. Soon we are dancing and telling the stories of the island, looking almost like natives.

I have just the thing for ya! Would you believe it’s Mike the Headless Chicken Day?
Yes, you heard me right! Let’s head off to Fruita, Colorado for the Mike the Headless Chicken Festival
This is absolutely for real! The story starts on September 10, 1945 when Fruita, Colorado, farmer Lloyd Olsen chose a chicken for his evening meal. Mr. Olsen cut off the bird’s head, but Mike just shook it off and continued trying to peck for food. He lived for 18 months and went on a national tour as “The Headless Wonder Chicken”. I know we can all relate to Mike’s example that you can live a normal life, even after you have lost your mind.
Can this event possibly be missed? There’s a 5k Run, Bike Poker Ride, Disc Golf Tournament, and eating contests, along with live music and food. This sweet kitty joined the angels in February 2013 after losing his battle with complications that developed after being hit by a car the month before. He’d survived having both legs broken & surgery, but was unable to walk & had to drag himself to the litterbox. He was very brave & stayed a very sweet boy during all of the pain, infections, examinations & becoming a foster; but the angels knew that his life would not be a full one with his disabilities & thus called him home. Please pounce by to paw ANGEL CRASH #248838 a vote today so that his foster mom will have a fond memory to cherish & so that this sweet angel can earn the honor of making his star the most brilliant in the night sky tomorrow night.
Congratulations to our newest royal cat QUEEN SPUNKY #161265!! Your campaign about the details of cat shows was stupendous & we learned a lot about how things work for the fabulous show cats. Sea monkey hunt! 5-16-13
Be vewy vewy quiet - we're hunting for sea monkeys. I hear they might be snorkeling in the water hazards, so naturally we sent our fearless Pig-shark in to have a look see. In the meantime....
I think Steve must be trying to hook a sea monkey using pizza weenies for bait. Try little sea bananas instead. :) A 62 for Mr. Safari. Ana looking buff after a full day of sports yesterday comes to the sea hunt with a 47.
OnTheLookout LiLi stays alert to avoid Steve's golf grip on her shins and swings for a 64. Bart is slowly recovering from his grits pizza - would you like to supersize that? - and hits one toward the water hazard for a sinking 59.
Mimi isn't too sure about those open windows all night, must be a mosquitophobe. She leaves her 69 at the scorers table. Tucker pretends not to notice the girls and hits a 60, then heads to the food wagon - where the girls like to hang out. :)
Now Engine has a fine idea on how to use those left-over grits. Pot-hole fill! Excellent! She leaves a 62, and heads to the Snackster to handle the pizza stuffed mouse dogs. UBB does a little dilly-dallying on the veranda with a shot of Cat Daniels and a few tuna melt crackers before turning in a 55.
Bwana Bee Gee borrows Safari Steve and gun bearer/catty Gracie T-t for her underwater sea monkey safari, and turns in a score of 53 before setting out to the mysterious water hazard....
Ah, bringer-of-food Armani! And generous post-birthday Chloe, too. One can NEVER have too much birthday cake, I always say! They complete their morning with a 59 on the links. And finally, Mallow just can't wait to fling her 52 to the scorekeeper and go after a sea monkey or two herself. She races off to join the safari.
Busy day here, folks. I can feel the excitement building. Who will have the first sea monkey sighting? Who will bag the first sea monkey? Who will bag the biggest sea monkey? Who will bag the most sea monkeys? Who cares? :)

I think I see Pig's snorkel breaking the surface like a periscope. This could be it - the big sighting alert! He seems to paddling mighty fast! This must be important. He's approaching the shore. He's out of the water! And - what the.... What IS that thing? Oh man, nobody told poor Pig there were crawdads in the water hazards! Ouch, that must hurt. Anybody for a crawdad feed? :)
Looks like Mimi and LiLi will be heading out to the barn today. See if there's a REALLY big pot out there!

Putting for Pizza! 5/15/13
Steve declares it’s Pizza Party Day! Finally a normal, non-crazy thing to celebrate around the Catty Shack. What could they possibly do to this one? Well first, they can get it wrong, my calendar says National Pizza Day isn’t till Friday, but I’ll go with the flow:
Steve starts us out by asking the ageless question “Wonder if Engine has any pizza weenies?” We wonder if Steve has any score. Yes, he does. It’s a 54 (=9).
Bart meanders through next with a 59 (=14), wondering if Engine has any scrambled eggs & grits. On pizza?? Copycat Mimi also shoots a 59 (=14) and says she’s expecting record breaking heat. It’s not here yet, but it’s coming!
Tucker says he’s all over the pizza weenies. No wonder no one wants ‘em (ewww!) His ice beer sounds more appetizing as he drops off his 51 (=6).
LiLi is coming up roses in red & white, with a 63 (=9) in the middle. Engine comes with a different colour scheme: Greenies and tuna (on pizza?) and a 44 (=8) on the side.
Sandy wonders if we want a wakeup call. Not with that 28 (=10), we don’t. Going back to sleep till it’s REALLY spring, thank you. Bee Gee seconds that motion with a slightly less freezing 40 (=4).
The Dynamic Duo get back on the 59 (=14) bandwagon and decide to have a picnic with lemonade and hot dogs, while UBB declares that he is skipping the pizza weenies. Do they work better than stones? Oh yeah, his score. 50 (=5)
Finally comes Mallow, being all Cloak & Dagger and confessing to her first petty larceny of the day. Somewhere along the way she scores a 52 (=7).
And let’s see where the pizza weenies fall:
1st – BeeGee: 4
2nd – UBB: 5
3rd – Tucker: 6
And let the parade of losers begin: Bart, Mimi and the Dynamic Duo, all with their pitiful 14’s, head out to the cart barn. You don’t fool us, you just want some time alone with the newly sanitized weenie wagon while the rest of us enjoy our pizzas with … uh … weenies and scrambled eggs and Greenies and grits and tuna. (Yum ??!), with some Chocolate Chipmunk Ice Beer. Now you’re talking! Beer fixes everything.

well momma is at lunch now and gonna visit a bit. we are having great weather now. it is 81 and real pretty day. momma had a good mother's day as she went down and spent the day with gma.
we have been playing and such just being lazy kitties,
hhmmm, me thinks shaddy be kinda strange. he was laying in momma's lap and she was petting him and he wanted to play a bit, but then he started gettin his own tail now, and was grabbing and biting it and he started quarrelling at himself and even hissed at himself and then jumped down to the floor now is that strange or what!!!!!!!
we have missed our friends, but money got a bit tight with daddy out of work a whole month and momma says she has to get it built back up afore the home puter can be seen too

My Dear Fur Friend ♥ Bart....
Mom and I are so glad your parents had such a wonderful time with their Grandson! I bet he must be super adorable!
Mommy loves children.
It´s raining outside but it´s not very cold. I´m watching through the window while Mom writes my kitty letters. The cars pass by with their lights over the avenue and people walks with their umbrellas. We tried to blog yesterday but CC was super slow.
Dad gave my Mom a new BlackBerry cell phone a couple of days ago and she´s been chasing us with its camera! She loves taking pictures of us. MOL! Mom tells not to close my eyes when she´s about to take a photo of me. Tee-hee!
Last night she caught me yawning in my kitty bed; I meowed at her to let her know a lady must be ready for a photo!
We´re waiting for Grandma to come back from work and have supper together. We´ll be helping Mom to cook in a little while.

Great Mom got lots of time with the Gbaby yesterday. I'm sure she loved it! Getting a late start again today. Mom saw the surgeon this morning. He is pleased with her progress & will see her again in six weeks. She will continue her PT. The landlord came today & finally mowed the lawn! Boy was it high. ♥ Our SPECIAL Message by SISSEE 11531 tonight!
♥ This year, we would like to do something different with our 10th Year Adoptiversaries by introducing a SPECIAL kitty to you! While mom and dad was cleaning and going thru everything in the back room, mom came across a picture that she couldn’t find for a long time and thought it was gone forever. This picture is of a precious tiny kitten and will remain in mom’s heart♥. This tiny kitten’s name was PRINCESS KNIGHT and she was mine, Suezee’s & Rhoamin’s littermate sister.
♥ When we were just tiny kittens, running wild & free under our fur mama Baby’s 13286 care when PRINCESS found a way to our neighbors’ yard [mid July 2003] who has a Yellow Lab. That Lab was let out in their back yard and he seen PRINCESS. Mom & dad heard the little screams of pain & came running out in the back yard. The neighbor got a hold of their dog and dad went over the fence to get PRINCESS, but it was too late for her as dad handed her to mom. Mom was in such tears. PRINCESS was only 10 weeks young when she was killed. To this day, that dog is still next door to us so mom always worries us outside kitties.

Thank you for your kind words, prayers & sweet thoughts. Like many of you, Mommy knows all too well about kidney disease. Her Dot passed away at the age of 17 from kidney disease & hyperthyroidism in October 2000. Mommy had hoped it would be a very long time before she was faced with this awful disease again. She will do her very best to give me the greatest care possible & lots of TLC.
I am eating the k/d canned and dry foods pretty well so far. Mommy says it is extremely difficult having one baby on a special diet. But we are doing our best with this situation & taking it one day at a time.
Thanks again for your prayers & concern. We really do appreciate it. Job 12:10 says “In God’s hands is the life of every creature.” We believe this to be true.

I am so glad that your Mom had her grandbaby yesterday. For Mother's Day our Mom got...nothing. Our human brother had ordered her flowers but they never got delivered. He had also bought her a new cell phone case that was supposed to be delivered by last Thursday and still has not gotten here. Daddy wasn't able to get Mom anything this year because of financial problems. So Mom had a bummer of a Mother's Day. We tried to cheer her up but I don't think it worked. It sounds like your Mom had a real nice Mother's Day, and that you got some special one-on-one time with her. I bet that made her smile!
Aunt Mary and Mom took Grammy out of the nursing home yesterday, and met up with Aunt Pat and family at a restaurant. Grammy had a very nice time, and was still thanking Aunt Mary when she called her this morning. Aunt Mary and Mom said that pretty soon, when the evenings are a little warmer, I am going to visit Grammy at the home! I can't wait. I really miss her. Aunt Mary told me that Grammy was wondering if I would remember her after almost a year. Of course I remember her! I would NEVER forget my Grammy!

Happy Mother's Day your way. Sounds like you had a great weekend. Our weather finally cleared up and we enjoyed low humidity and temperatures in the high 60ies today. Mom and dad will be going on a trip starting Tuesday so we probably won't be back on the CC until next Sunday. Mom is too cheap to pay fur internet while gone. Hope your week is pawsome.

Why didn't you ask for a ride in the cart. That sounds like fun. Of course the extra lap time is always good. Lap time is sort of scarce here. The temperature was high 77 & low was 40 this morning, now it's 77 with humidity 31% & wind is 14 MPH WSW. Monday's suppose to be Showers & High 66.

♥ Well, mom told Callie 239447 that she met her match!!!! Saturday morning mom just happened to look over at the end of the couch to see Sassee 10605 sitting on it, which mom thought was awfully strange cuz she never gets on that end table then she seen Callie hunkered down under the top shelf of the end table. Mom told Sassee to leave her alone then mom had to pry Callie out from under that shelf part!!!! That's the first time Callie's been scared. Mom told Callie not to mess with Sassee especially when Sassee's in pain!!!! Sassee is the ALPHA girl inside!!!! No one was hurt!!!!
♥ Mom opened dad's window after she finished her kitty chores so we could go out in the cattery. Funny thing is though, she had it boarded up with plywood as it's suppose to rain today and she didn't want everything getting wet. At least we got the fresh air as well as relaxing out there!!!!
♥ Mom and dad didn't do much xcept relaxed and watched a couple movies on tv then some recorded shows on the DVR.
♥ Mom took the first cuttings of two roses today from her rose bushes. One is of her Angel Face which has a beautiful fragrance and the other is Jacobs Coat.
