THAT IT MADE HIM SO SAPPY HE JUST WANTED TO SING :..'O CANADA OUR HOME AND NATIVE LAND...TRUE PATRIOT LOVE...GOD KEEP OUR LAND GLORIOUS AND FREE....O CANADA WE STAND ON GUARD FOR THEEEEE!!!.'....WHAT AN HONOUR YOU HAVE ALL BESTOWED UPON ME ! FIRST OF ALL TO BE GIVEN THE PRIVILEGE TO RUN FOR COTM LAST MONTH AND THEN TO BECOME A CANADIAN KING FOR CC! IT IS A DREAM COME TRUE! IT WAS SUCH A MOVING AND EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR ME!....I celebrated my first day of kingship by going to my cottage for a relaxing peaceful weekend ,giving my paws a rest. I was served Merrick's gourmet cat food 'Surf and Turf' and also some grilled salmon from Dad and lots of special treats.The family served a cat cake in my honour I managed to sneak a taste of whipped cream! Check out my cake pic ! I am licking my lips!.They catered to my every wish ( well almost ). and played with me all week-end I could really get used to this!....I have really enjoyed catpaigning this last month and meeting new and old cc furiends. It has been hard work but well worth it and very rewarding!...Through the London Ont shelter expansion, the rescue of the Colorado kitties to the shelter and new homes, the kittyathon, and learning about the day in the life of many of our cc families and the many humorous and touching poems it has been a great learning experience too. Thanks to all of the cc famililies that told their stories! We lost Dereck and Tasha this past month They crossed the rainbow bridge On a happier note Lucky was found ,we had a fish wt and name contest and Halloween costume contest. ...I WILL DO MY BEST TO BE KING THIS MONTH AND WEAR MY CROWN AND BADGE WITH RESPECT ,PRIDE AND DIGNITY CARING FOR THE SICK CATS AND HUMANS IN NEED AND HELP KEEP EVERYONE SAFE HERE ON CC....With heartfelt thanks I would like to take a moment to thank each and everyone new and old to cc who stopped by to vote and support me this past month,some voted everyday and others as often as possible and to those who put a hyperlink after their name under their picture thank you so much! It was greatly appreciated and mean't so much to me! Also thanks to all of you who sent me treats and supported my mom while she was sick .The caring and purrayers really helped her! Also thanks to the catpaign and mews room for their snappy captions added to their catpaign adds and for the great pics they made for me. They make cc the wonderful place that it is!...Leaving you all with a special vote for all of the support and caring you have shown me over this past month... WHY VOTE FOR THE REST WHEN YOU CAN VOTE FOR THE BEST! ...VOTE NAPPY # 68109 FOR COTM!... Happy Federal Election Day in Canada!. Thanks to all for voting for me when i was up at my cottage .I had a great thanksgiving with my family lots of kids to chase ! Lots of turkey samples too! it was 78 and sunny lots of orange and red leaves to roll in too.I was out watching for my birds and chippers too..I did get out for 2 fishing trips and the lake was very calm the first trip no fish and the second we caught 2 bass one 6 lb and 0ne 4lb very tasty!....WELCOME TO A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE GREEN MOUNTAIN GANG FROM WELLS,VERMONT. ..Officially, morning begins around 7:30 AM for the Green Mountain Gang, but some of us have been up for a couple of hours or more! Wally usually wakes up before sunrise and wants to go outside for some early morning mousing, while Holly and Haylee play with toys and chase each other from room to room in an attempt to awaken Mom and Dad. Mom makes her way to the kitchen stepping on cat toys strewn along the way. Gabby, Haylee, Holly, and Wally (if he’s back in time) all gather for a breakfast treat of a spoonful of canned food. Queen Gabby gets a bigger portion mixed with her daily dose of Prozyme. Priscilla insists on eating apart from us for some reason—maybe Max from the PA Pawsee understands what this is all about! Mom cleans the litter boxes, gives us fresh water and makes sure the dry food bowls (yes, more than one) are FULL! We get quite nervous when the food gets below the top rim of the bowl! While her coffee is brewing, she goes outside to the shed to feed Neila, the "shed cat" and let her outside. She takes a few minutes to drink some coffee while reading the morning paper online, and then drives to Grandma’s house just up the street to check on Grandma and feed and care for the rest of the Gang who lives at Grandma’s. She’s met at the door by a chorus of meows from McFluff, Missy, Mickey, and Kitkat (no profile), who anxiously await their own spoonfuls of canned food! Grandma’s cat Angie, like Priscilla, insists on eating apart from the others—she’s a loner. Water and food bowls are filled and litter boxes are cleaned. Everyone gets petted, scratched, cuddled and snuggled…so begins another day in the life of the Green Mountain Gang!..Thanks so much to Haylee # 59869 and all of the GREEN MOUNTAIN GANG kitties for sharing your special story with us. We appreciated it! ...WISHING 2 KITTIES HAPPY BIRTHDAYS FROM OCT 13TH THEY ARE.. MISS KITTY # 3148 ..AND LUCY # 6449.... Welcome to CC. Thank you for stopping by and congratulating me. Thank you to all of my CC friends. Because of you and your prayers I am totally back to my energetic self. I still need to put on some more weight, but Mom says I am doing great. I am eating and drinking as much as I always have. I also want to thank you all because I got my beautiful COTD badge on October 7 because of all of your prayers and get well wishes and stopping by to check on me every day. Mom says that without all of you and your prayers that I may not have made it. God Bless you all and there are no words that can truly express my gratitude. Mom says that our furiends on CC are just beyond anything she has ever experienced. If the whole world would act like our furiends here there would be no hate, war, famine, or any of the other bad things that are going on in our world today. Mom says I have to get off of my soap box now MOL.
