Hey Muffie!
Yes that does sound like a good day. Getting lots of treats is always a plus. Today is very pleasant. Mom opened the windows and we don't even need the fans on! Looks like it will rain off & on. Mom may go out to mow the lawn but isn't sure it won't rain as soon as she gets the mower out. We have an electric lawnmower so she doesn't want to start if it is going to rain. Hey Muffie!
Got lots of rain today. Was raining when we woke up and did for several hours. It stopped but was damp & muggy all day. Started drizzling again about an hour ago. We watch Mom working out in the garden. She was annoyed the squirrels yanked up 10 of her tomato & pepper plants so she replanted. Hope the squirrels leave them alone. We both kiss Mom too. Hi Muffie! You have a catwalk too!
Aren't they cool? We have one that starts on the stairs up to the bedroom, it's a very gradual ramp, and then it runs all the way around the kitchen, ending at the refrigerator. We jump down onto the fridge then onto the counter if we want to get down that way. It's great that you got stairs for yours now! We looked at your pictures and we can understand why it scared you to use that ramp. We have ramps in our enclosure too, and they can be tricky because they are only about 4" wide. If we miss our footing we can fall in the pond! Anyway, we are glad that you enjoyed your birthday. See you! THEY FLEW TO LONDON, THEN ENDED UP IN ZEEBRUGGEN BELGIUM. OFF TO AMSTERDAM, BACK TO THE WEST COAST OF FRANCE. A NICE LITTLE BEACH TOWN CALLED PORNIC. THEN TO THE CITY OF LIGHTS. THEY WENT DOWN TO ROME, THEN ENDED UP ON FIRST THE ITALIAN RIVIERA, THEN THE FRENCH RIVIERA. ONE WEEK ON THE BEACH (UNDER A LIFEGUARD STAND) IN NICE. THEY WENT TO MONTE CARLO, AND JUST ALL OVER EUROPE. BUT NOT SPAIN, GREECE OR EASTERN EUROPE. THEY EVEN WENT TO HELSINKI! WHEN THEY WERE IN ONTARIO, CANADA, THEY GOT PRETTY CLOSE TO MICHIGAN IN SAULT STE.MARIE ONTARIO. ARE YOU THAT FAR NORTH? CANADA IS JUST A BEAUTIFUL AND FRIENDLY COUNTRY. SHE HASN'T HEARD OF LES ISSAMBRES, BUT WILL GOOGLE IT.

Good Evening Muffie,
I'm so sorry to hear that it is snowing there so bad that your Mom slid down the driveway taking out the garbage and injured her foot. Did she miss any college classes because of her foot or because of the weather?
Aren't Moms wonderful - no matter how they feel or what is wrong with them, they take care of us! Inside kitties are so lucky to have such great Moms. How is your Mom's foot feeling now - all better or still a little sore?
Oh my gosh, your Mom's purchase ended up in Florida and then back to the warehouse! Somebody got something wrong, that's for sure. She has been waiting for that inversion table now for a few weeks. Are they going to send it back out to your Mom - maybe priority shipment - at their expense? Probably not...
Will your Mom be able to start back on the enzymes she was taking when her foot heals up some? That is a shame, she had to stop taking them when they seemed to be working well.
I'm glad you are doing okay. So you are the laid back one there. I think I am that kitty here in this household except when the boys look at me - I growl.
I'm happy to hear that you have been up on your catwalk and taking some naps up there. When Desiree, Cinder and Biscuit are carrying on and playing up there, I understand why you don't want to go up there.
How wonderful that your Mom loves her classes and her students. I know that makes her happy. It is always nice when you have to work, you like your job!
The weather here has been absolutely wonderful. We are a little embarrassed because the rest of the nation has been fighting cold, snow, sleet, ice, and freezing temps. We have been in the 70's/80's the past few weeks.
Those feral kitties sound pretty lucky to have your Mom watching out for them. I am so glad I live inside, but I guess the ferals learn to cope with the cold. That is nice that your Mom has the winterized houses out there for them to sleep in and stay warm in. The raccoons would probably bother the kitties just to get at their food. I'm glad your Mom has a way to block the shelter from them.

My Mom is so far behind she is just answering your message of the 17th. For whatever reason, my Mom just can’t seem to get into the swing of blogging for me everyday.
Oh my gosh, your Mom had a little trouble starting off planning her college classes what with the textbook, workbooks, and audio CDs. I hope all those classes your Mom taught – two in one class by mistake and the class in advance because of the possible homework - paid off in that she didn’t have to teach them again…teehee Your Mom was probably a little worn out from all that “over-teaching”! Has things all settled down. The students have stopped complaining, I hope…MOL
Has your Mom received the inversion table she ordered? Is it helping her back any? Are the enzymes – Heal and Sooth – reducing her swelling?
How are you doing with your catwalk? Going up and down the ramp without any problems now? Do you hang out up there a lot during the day or when your Mom is away? Has your Mom had a chance to redecorate your room?
How cold are your temps up there? Have you had lots of snow like the other parts of the country? Tell me a little about the outside mother cat. I didn’t know about her. Did she have or has she had a litter of kittens? I’m not familiar with a ferrovilla – is the mother cat sleeping in it? Will it keep her and her kittens warm, or just out of the elements?
Our weather is pretty nice here. In the 70’s mostly during the days. We have had two cold fronts come through but they only lasted a day or two. Nothing to complain about compared to some of the temps in other parts of the country.
