Sept 22 Queen's blog
Sept. 13th--Today's diary entry is non-existent. There has been no news from PetSmart about Mars nor any contact by the new owners of the other kittens. Muffin is doing well and playing with the other cats at Debbie's house, which is great. But that's all we have to report for Sept. 13th.
It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Chester of the Peach State cats. Chester (Bart #99156) was found shot when his parents returned home the other day. Some cruel person had purposely snuck up on him and shot him at close range. At first it was thought that Chester might be able to recover from his horrendous wounds, but then they realized that he was completely paralyzed in the back end and could not function in any way. What a cruel fate for such a wonderful and beloved cat! We cry for him and his parents and pray that the person who did this is caught and brought to justice. The Big Apple Gang has proposed that we all light a Candle Sunday evening in memory of Chester and all of the cats that we have lost recently. Anytime after 7 pm, light a candle and say a prayer for the lost, injured, displaced or abandoned animals who need our help. Also in need of our prayers today is Trouble #182633, who is lethargic and suffering from an unknown malady. His parents will be taking him to the Vet immediately. We pray that whatever is wrong is easily fixed and he is back to normal soon.
It is with great joy that we report that Cocoa Puff #4765 has delayed her own Crossing. The decision her parents made yesterday to ease her across the Bridge was vetoed this morning by Coke herself, when she ran out of her room and vigorously demanded food. With such a display of will to live, how could they not give her more time? We are also happy to report that little Angus #185054 has started to gain weight and seems to be doing much better. He still needs our prayers, but *hopefully*, this marks a turning point for this little guy. Also feeling better are Boo Kitty #154855 and Mom. They are both feeling much more like normal and are starting to visit their friends again.
We congratulate today's COTD Koshka #108393 and will join him in celebration. We will also visit DAISY #141573 today to support her COTD bid and hope you all do the same. Let's see her smiling face in that Frame tomorrow! Last but never least, remember to vote daily for Max #93751 so that he may take over the duties of King and give ME a much needed vacation!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just lost my baby Precious kitty at the end of July and am still reeling and sick over this.
