Amazingly, Sniffles was a little kitten found abandoned outside the Head Start building, skinny and cold. Being an animal lover, his adopted Mom took him home, cleaned him up and fed him, posting “LOST” flyers around the area. When no one claimed Sniffles, she could not deny this affectionate adorable purr machine, and claimed him as her own!

SNIFFLES #135423, of Andrews, Texas, is so loving, he purrs constantly and lets the little kids love on him. The most heartwarming part of Sniffles story is the fact that his Mom had never thought of herself as a cat person before Sniffles entered her life. She had 4 dogs she loved with all her heart. They can all be found on Dog Channel. Sadly, she shared with members of the DC community that “on March 24th, 2009, a neighbor took their short lived lives into his hands and carelessly ended their stay on this beautiful planet of ours ... guess out of pure anger and hatred, he chose to retaliate by poisoning all of my darling babies using bait laced with rat poison. When I discovered them lying on the ground, I rushed them all to the vet. My babies, Tango and Cash, died almost immediately after our arrival to the vet's office. Freckles and Maverick managed to cling to life for another eighteen hours before taking their final breath. They have all been brought home with me and laid to rest on our farm where they belong and will always be remembered... Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers...”~(DC dogs Angel Freckles (DC#30850), Angel Tango (DC#78185), Angel Cash (DC#78186) and Angel Maverick (DC#101024).

As an animal lover, her heart was so hurt from the loss of her 4 family dogs to a cruel neighbor, she did not think herself ready to open up her heart to another fur baby when this helpless deserted kitten meowed into her life. SNIFFLES #135423, with his loving ways, won her over, and now she loves him unconditionally and furever! It was a beautiful Summer day on a country road. The little kitten sat by the side of the road trying to figure out which way was home. Hours went by as she walked and tried to find her home. VOTE ANGEL ASHES #101450 FRI 6/5!
I miss my 6 sisters and 1 brother, in which, I was the eldest. My Mom is still so heart broken over my passing, but she knows that I am waiting for her at the rainbow bridge. I was brought home by my mom, who saw a "free kittens" sign along the road and couldn't pass it up. She says that she knew that I was calling out to her to come get me! Skamper, who passed about 7 years ago, was the elder cat before me. When he passed, I missed him so badly. It is great to see him again!! I loved my home, but I did not like all the craziness of being 1 of 8. I just liked to be by myself, but I dealt with all my siblings for my Mom. My favorite food was Chicken!! Mom would make me special chicken without spices. I loved to greet my special people at the door up on my back legs, in which I received the nickname of "weasel kitty" by my favorite human boy Josh. We grew up together and I miss him. I was so excited to see him when he would come back from college on the weekends. My mom and friend, Mitch, said I had the loudest Purr that they ever heard. So nice to hear from you. I hope Blossom is better. Your mom did the right thing in taking Blossom to her Vet Doctor. Yes, when you have a small kitty sometimes things come up and you need to see a vet. I am so happy she is doing alot better.

Yes, when mom droped off that kitten to her local humane society, they ask her if she wanted to foster another kitty, a brother and sister for about 3 weeks. Of course, Mom said yes, without any hesitation. That meant I would be busy intertaining them. I don't mind a bit because I have so much fun with them. Also my catmates.

Just dropping in to say meow. I see you got some new photos. Very Cute. Yesterday, mom when on a 6 mile charity walk with her co-worker. She had alot of fun. The weather was beautiful. Got alittle too much sun. At the end of the walk they got free lunches.

I have been playing with a foster kitten that mom's been fostering for 2 weeks. Monday afterwork mom is going to return her back to our local humane society where is going to be put up for adoption. I had so much fun with her. She brought out the silly side of me. She is such a fun kitty to be around with. Hee! Hee!

Oh that silly Blossom. I guess she did not know. Thats a kitty for you. I am glad mom can use the computer now.

I have been playing with my catmates all day. We have been getting into alot of mischief around the house. All I here from mom is oh no not again. You silly kitties stop that and so on...... We love to jump up against the wall and onto the floor again. Especially when mom is using the laser pointer. That is so fun. It feels like we are flying for a moment. Yee Pee!!!

The weather has been very nice today. Mom and Dad went around the island to just sight see. The ocean is so blue-green. They were hoping to see whales, but had know luck. At this time of the season the whales come to mate then take off to another area of the ocean to go home.

Little Lulu or Blossom - Hum........
Well Isis, Tell mom that I think she should name her Blossom. That is a cuter name and it fits her perfectly. She reminds me of a flower because of all the different colors she has in her fur. She is the prettiest kitty I ever seen.

From those pictures mom sent me, she looks so content and happy to be with both of you. Blossom (if I may call her) is a lucky kitty to go into a loving home like yours.

Just a quick c/p to let you know why I have been MIA for the last week and maybe for a few more days. My Mom has been suffering from a severe flu bug since early Wednesday morning. She has not eaten at all, and has to have family and friends come by to help take care of her and to feed me my Fancy Feast. She says the smell of my luscious dinner makes her sick! Can you imagine? I am doing my part to help my Mom feel better by loyally staying at her side with healing purrs and sweet kisses.

I guess I am very lucky she got sick while we have been having horrible thunderstorms and lots of rain here! I have been spending lots of time in the window keeping one eye in Mom and watching my new birdie friends. When G-ma visits, she leaves some bird food under their tree to give me some real entertainment while Mom is getting her rest.

I miss you all and can't wait until Mom has the strength to turn on the computer full time again!!

I was given to my forever Dad for a birthday gift!!! I was a sun lover, like most cats but, I REALLY loved it! I was always trying to get outside to roll around on the warm pavement or the warm rocks in the sun. I was a total lap cat. I loved to peek around corners 'n' stalk Dad. He would peek at me 'n' I would peek at him. Then, he would hide 'n' I would creep up fast 'n' pounce on him around the corner! I loved to get in boxes of all sizes. Even ones that I was too big to get into! I'd have to try anyway! I loved Mom as much as Dad. That made me special to Mom. Dino is Daddys' boy all the way. Sammy at least sleeps with Mom. I used to all the time. I loved my tummy rubbed too! My Special Friend

Yes. I can be such a Lazy Kitty when it comes to sleeping in my bed.

So mom bought you a lazer pointer. That is a cute name for it (Fire fly). That brought back memories. When mom was a kid living in Missori, she and her brother used to catch fireflies at night and put them in a large jar with a cap on top. They both would watch them for hours until they released them into the night sky to watch them flutter away. They had alot of fun doing that.

The laser pointer mom bought for you, You will have fun for hours trying to catch it. Let me know if you do succeed. I haven't caught mines yet.

Nice you got a new scratchies. Enjoy your catnip when mom brings it indoors for you.

So where did you live in IL? Are you snowbound right now? I have heard from others on CC that there is a bad blizzard . Please stay safe and warm inside. I will try to send some of our sunshine to melt that yucky snow for you!!!

Lots of new workmen have been making all kinds of noise around my complex this week. Roofers, painters, and landscapers. They even levelled the field next to my house. I don't know where all the bunnies went, but all the birdies made a new home in the trees by my bedroom window. Unfortunately all that cut up greenery has wreaked havoc on Mom's allergies. She has spent most of the week taking it easy and taking allergy medicine. She promised to go out this weekend for that new bird feeder she's been talking about for all of my new friends.

The weather has been beautiful here! The windows were open all week! Today was in the 60's and very sunny! Let's just hope that this is the beginning of a new trend. I hope you have a wonderful evening!!! Sweet dreams and big hugs!

Computer problems -Oh no!
Hi Isis I hope they can fix the problem with Moms computer. It can be very frustrating when the darn thing do not work right.

I can picture your dog sliding across the floor trying to retreve a dog toy. That is so funny. What kind of dog do you have? And what is his name? How long did you have him? We have 3 dogs, 1 just died recently due to old age. Speeder(Whipet)my dog was 19 years old. We adopted him when he was 3 years old at our Humane Society. We made him comfortable during his last hours of life and he shortly died after. We buried him in our backyard with our other dogs from before.

We have 3 dogs now, Kamuela(sausage dog)10 years old,Hokulani(sausage dog)6 years old and Makanani(poi dog)2 years old. We adopted her at the Humane Society when she was 6 months old. She is so cute. They are alot of fun to have. They bring alot of joy to our home along with our 5 indoor cats.

Yes we both do like to climb high up on our mom's cabinets and refergerator. Oh what fun it is. To look down on the humanes and see what they are doing.

Nice to hear from you. That is ok about not being on. Sometimes that happens, computers are fussy just like people. They are so unpredictiveable.

I hope your having a great day. Today mom is doing the chores in the house. It is a weekly duty. Sometimes she does it more often during the week. But she enjoys it. Dad is mowing the lawn outside. Our 3 dogs follow dads riding mower around the yard till he gets done. It's looks so funny. I think dogs are kind of silly anyways.

I like your new photo featuring you in the cat fancy magazine. You look so cute in your cat bed sleeping. Perfect title. The cat nap marathon. He! He! That is my favorite thing to do too.

Sorry I haven't been around for awhile! It has been so chaotic around here with plumbers and electricians doing a lot of work in my apartment building. They were big and scary and I didn't like them much. Mom said that we should just be thankful that they are upgrading the building! The men have moved on for the moment, so life is good again! Now I am just praying for lots of sunny days with open windows!. I have had to watch it snow more than I should in April. If you have seen the sun can you please tell him to stop by my house for a visit? Thanks! Hugs!

How has the weather been in CO lately? We ahve had a bit of snow every other day or so here. They say we should have SPring back maybe by next week. I am keeping my paws crossed!

Your mom is quite a great gardener. She can grow catnip and cat grass. Wow!! My mom is so funny. She tried to grow cat grass from seed. She had it outside and the birdies got to the seed. Mom came home from work and found the tray upside down in the grass and all the seed was gone. She finally gave up and just went to walmart to purchase it already grown. It's alot easier and we don't have to wait for it to grow. It takes too long. We do not mind a bit.

What sort of hobbies do your mom do? My mom is always on the computer when she has the chance. Dad always have to wait till mom is done. Mom loves to clean house and help dad in the yard. She loves to go hiking and bike riding. She use to crochet but has not for a while. She crochet beenies, neck warmers and shaws for us. Took photos, and posted up at our vets office. She is so proud of us.

Well we got a catnip mat, several toys (lots of feathers attached to sticks) a back scratcher, several cat beds and cat grass, thats my favorite. Oh, lots of balls that roll and makes sounds.

I hope this weekend is nice, Dad wants to play a round of golf. Mom usually goes for the exercise. He loves that sport. Do you golf?

Sounds like your mother is a special person. She has a kind heart for all animals. We once had a tame dove. My husband(glen)tamed it. The dove knew his name and would fly to you and land on your shoulder. I thought that was pretty cool stuff. He named it BoBo. That is a silly name for a bird. He lived to be about 10 years old. One day he just died. Probably old age I gather. Love birds are fun to have and watch. They are a playful bird. Their bite hurts if your finger gets in the way.
Today we had better weather. Thank god, I got to watch the birds come and go. And felt the sunshine come through the window. It was nice to have that.
Tonight mom and dad are going to petco. They want to pick up some more of the cat beds. We can never have to much. They probably by more cat toys, catnip and a catnip mat. I really like that one. I can hardly wait till they come home tonight. Hope you and Fat Louie had a nice day as well. Friends, Baby Ashley

Summer is my favorite season also Isis
We have so much in common Isis. I like summer also. It's something about summer that brings out the best in me. You mom is so thoughtful to bring out the heating pad so you can enjoy looking outside and watch the snowflakes fall. That sounds relaxing. In Hawaii, there is alot of tropical birds that fly around. Certain time of the day they come out and fly around. There is alot of parrots (ringnecks, Macaws, cacatoos, wild canaries,lovebirds,). Amazing how they are able to survive out in the wild. We use to own quite of few birds. We had it for many years and decided to give alot to our neighbor. For example: Many parrotkeets, lovebirds,cockatiels,finches and our parrot. We still have our parrot, 2 cockatiels. These birds are in outdoor cages located in our patio. Does you mom have any indoor birds?

Blizzard Stopped
Hi Isis So the blizzard stopped that day. I wish in Hawaii we would get something like that. I think it would be pretty cool to experience that. You are so fortunate to experience the 4 seasons. (Winter, Spring, Fall, Summer) Out of the 4 seasons, what do you prefer? I hope the birdies come out soon so you can enjoy watching them eat seed. Sometimes I get silly watching the birdies that I forget that there is a screen in fromt of me. Boy, I hit the screen so hard it startles me. Mom gets a laugh watching that. Your mommy takes good care of you making sure you have a tag with all the infor on it and also microchiped. Just in case you get lost. So Fat Louie just hangs around the house. No desire to ventured out and see the big world. I don't blame Fat Louie. I would be just like that too. I was on my own for about 6 months living outside. It's a hard life. Glad mom found me at grams senior housing. I love being pamper on. Mom loves me very much along with my other friends I live with (Matty,Dreamy,Spooky,Friskie.) It an easy life I have now. What!!
A Blizzard during Spring. Is that odd weather for you at this time of the year? It started on the 26 of march. Is it still happening? And how long does it last? I hope you and Fat Louie is snuggle up in a warm bed perhaps with Mom. You posted more pic of you. Very nice. Do you play on the piano? For real? I like your outfits. Mom is having me wear a cat collar with a bell attached to it for now. It's kind of weird. But I guess I will get used to it. My other siblings wear bumble bee hats and crochet beenies,christmas stockings, and whole bunch of collars. I will too one day. Have a nice day Isis and Fat Louie. Huggs, and Purrs.

Thank you for your prayers
Thank you for your prayers tonight. My little angel has crossed over to the rainbow bridge. She is now with the Lord. I can imagine how much fun she is having. Running about and getting into mischief. Just having a blast chasing butterflies.

Hi Isis
Thank you for asking about the kitten. But sadly to say she took a turn for the worst. We are making her comfortable now and trying to keep her warm with our heating pad. She barely can drink her formular First Born. It hurts mom alot to see the kitten this way. She does alot of crying and Mom and Dad keep on hoping that the kitten will get better. The kitten is only 8 days old, today. Please pray for the kitten that maybe she will go back home to God. Take care Isis, I am going to check on Mom and the kitten.
