My favorite tricks and treats are: I can say "Momma" & "No!" I will put my hind feet together and hop up and down the stairs. and Tuna juice & Bonkers.
Where I hang out: I love to be held and cuddled like a baby.
My favorite grubs: I'm not picky. I'll eat just about anything but my favorite is Kit N' Kaboodle and tuna.
My pet peeves: I do not like the smell of hairspray & car rides. Someone would put me in my kennel and by the time we got to where we were going, the kennel would be full of brown nuggets, MOL.
What I love about my owners: She would cuddle with me and hold me like a baby.
My cat hobbies: Cuddle, what else?
Pet motto: If you cuddle me, I'll be your best furend! **The kitty pictured at the bottom of my page is one of Best Friends' professional sunbathers, "Totoro". He is the kitty being gift sponsored by my mommy from Sippie's mommy. Totoro who is FIV positive, began his journey to Best Friends when he collapsed beside a dumpster in California. It was raining, and he'd just had a seizure. Some kind people brought him to Best Friends where he's as mellow and even-tempered as a piece of driftwood, as one of the professional sunbathers. Life has been sunnier ever since.**

My mommy and family wanted a kitty so they went to a local pet store. I was in a crate meowing my little head off. Everyone thought I was so cute and loveable.

Sorry we did not start yesterday, but mom was just feeling overtired with all the snow she had to clear and then there was Zeus, who snuck out twice! The snow was soft and up to his neck. Didn't stop him! Mom just stood outside and let him have a good run, because chasing him wouldn't have done any good and he does know where the door is.
Anyway, we want to thank you so much for our Meezers ACOTD and all the friends, who came by in memory of the fourth Anniversary of A.Rosebud's passing. Rosebud was very special to mom and I don't know how much you know of her story. She was originally rescued as a kitten by a friend of mom's. She was probably over two years, when mom's friend asked her to kitty sit Rosebud and another female black LH named Midnight for the first time, because they were moving to Duluth, MN and did not have a house picked out in that area yet. The two cats were neither spayed or vet checked for a long time, so mom took them on the agreement that she would get that done, with no cost to the family. Mom's friend has a learning disability and the family had other dysfunctions, including an alcoholic husband. The cats were not abused, but there was never money for proper vet care. Anyway, the cats were spayed and returned to the family, once they had a home in that city. A few years passed and the family was moving again. This time they had Rosebud and a year old pup named Ginger and were planning a drive to Florida. Midnight, who was up in her teens, had passed the Bridge due to breast cancer. When mom had her spayed, she had several tumors and they had been removed, but they did come back and she was brought to a vet and euthanized, before they moved again. The Tumors were inoperable and cancer had spread. Anyway, this time they asked mom to take Rosebud and keep her, because they knew mom loved Rosebud and would give her the best home possible. Mom also asked for their dog, a Rottweiler mix. She could see that Ginger was very gentle and friendly, but fearing the family had been living homeless more than once, she knew that often Animal Control people would simply euthanize certain breeds of dogs, if they were taken in. Mom was determined that that would not happen to Ginger. The original contract was that they had to demonstrate they had jobs and a secure place to live. That did not happen. Ginger is almost 13 and still with us.
Sorry, we were going to tell more about Rosebud too, but are running out of room, so will do that on Tuesday. Needless to say, she also lived with mom several years until she crossed the Bridge. Thank you so much for your Purrayers!
Mom is SO sorry it took a while to write you back and to thank you for voting for me and helping me be crowned COTD on 27 Oct ! It means the world to me and it’s even helping me feel better. Mom switched vets…the emergency animal clinic recommended one in our area…even though it’s about 40 min away, it’s well worth the drive. Mom took me back to the vet on Thursday. She couldn’t wait to get there… mom knew I wasn’t myself. I stopped eating and drinking again and then mom went to pick me up and I cried at her. Dr. Layne examined me and she found two little ulcers under my arms and then some more in my mouth. She said it was related to the hives I had (from the allergic reaction) and that mom would have to leave me at the hospital until Monday. Mom is very upset with the vet she always took us to and she will never take us back…we are just thankful the emergency clinic recommended Dr. Layne. After what occurred last week, mom walked into the office and asked for all of our records. Can you believe the office had the audacity to ask why we were leaving? Mom sure told them the reason why!

Hello Angel furriends!! It seems like an eternity since we have visited!! We have missed each and everyone of you so much since Mom has been sick..We thought since this weekend is Mother's Day, it would be nice to plan something "special". We would love to have each of you (and any siblings) join us for a weekend at "Sunshine Mountain"!
