Hi Patches!
I haven't been on in awhile so i just wanted to say hi! Hope you had a good 4th of July. I didn't like it at all! The park by our house celebrated on the 3rd and then the big fireworks were in downtown pittsburgh. I hate loud noises so i spent most of my time hiding in the cellar! I also got myself into a bit of trouble after that: I squeezed my way into a crawl space that is in the cellar that runs underneath the kitchen floor. My owner looked for me a long time and could hear my collar but couldn't find me. Then i popped my head out! They were so surprised that i was able to fit so now it's all blocked off for good! I'm going to try to stay out of trouble for awhile--i think that was enough! How are things with you and your owner? Hope you guys are having a great summer. Hope to hear from you soon! It's good to hear from you! It's o.k. that you haven't replied in a while-i understand that your owner's busy. It sounds like you've been busy too with the new kitty in the house! Glad you guys are getting along fine. What kind of cat is Sandy? I have to tell you about my outside adventure: remember how i told you a while ago that i got a lead and harness for my birthday? well my owner decided to give it a try even though she was real nervous about it. Anyway, I just laid down in the sun for about 5 minutes and went back in. She's going to wait awhile (till i'm older) to try it again cause i kept meowing at the windows for about 45 minutes!!!! I'm fine for now just sitting in the window behind the screen checking everything out! We've had some nice days in pittsburgh but the past few have been kind of chilly. Hope your owner has fun on his vacation! Where's he going? You'll have the run of the place! I would miss my owner a lot too!! Hope you have a good time and behave yourself! Just thought i'd drop you a note while i was online. I tried to add some things to my cat home for us but i'm not sure how to do it-if you know or can figure it out let me know o.k.? What a lousy day here in pittsburgh, so much rain so in other words not much to look at outside! How've you been since your tree adventure?! My owner went to Petco yesterday and got me some kitty ping-pong balls to play with so that's been a lot of fun! So, what do you and your owner like to do for fun? One of my favorite things to do is hide in the cellar and then i wait till she goes back upstairs to jump out and attack her feet--works every time!!!! I also like to jump in the shower and hide between the shower curtains and dive out! Well, i think i hear the shaking of the snack bag!Gotta go!!!!Talk to you soon!Come visit me, Scooter.

Hi Patch! How did you get yourself stuck up in a tree?! Glad to hear you're o.k. Not too much has been going on with me. The weather here is nasty so far today-a lot of rain and kind of chilly. I had a sore eye a couple days ago but i'm o.k. now. Just got some dirt in it from being in the window, then i rubbed it and irritated it. My owner was worried about me being o.k. but i'm fine!! She took some towels, food and newspaper to the animal shelter where my vet is. I left a note on my blog last time i was on for everyone who visits to check out your page too! I get to check everything out from the windows from all angles! I love to lay in the window and feel the air and hear all the sounds yet i'm still safe and protected. Know what I mean? Good to hear from you! The weather here in pittsburgh is supposed to get nice starting tomorrow and for the weekend. I guess i'll get to try out my harness. I don't know if i'll like it or not. I do enjoy going to my owner's parents house where they have a screened-in back porch. It's kind of like being outside i guess. You asked about my feeding schedule: About 8:30a.m. I get some dry food and a half a can of wet (tuna and egg is my favorite!) and of course fresh water. Then i get some snacks in the afternoon. In the late evening i get more fresh water, fresh dry food and the other half of the wet. On occasion i sometimes like that milk for kitties called Cat Sip. It's delicious! My owner used to give me it a lot when i was younger cause our vet said it would be good for me but now i don't need it as a supplement to my diet just as a treat cause i'm a little bit older now. I wasn't at a shelter but my vet's office is at one. I feel bad for all the kitties there who have to wait for homes. I'm very lucky. Got to get going--left you a vote as always! Glad to hear back from you. Thanks for the votes! Left you another one too. Yes, I can do flips--I do them all the time when I'm playing. The fishing-rod toy is sooo great! I never get tired of it! That, my loofa for cats, and milk rings are probably my favorite toys. Do you have a loofa for cats? If not it's like a little stuffed toy that is crinkly inside it. It was the first toy my owner got me and it's like my baby. His name is Loofy! They have to look for it everyday cause if I can't find it I get deporessed. Things I really can't stand are loud noise and i despise the vacuum! I'm not real crazy about being picked up a lot either but my owner says she can't help it cause"i'm so cute". I'm looking forward to the nice Spring weather here in Pittsburgh because even though i'm strictly an indoor cat i got a harness and lead. I got it for my birthday which was on April 2nd. My owner is a little nervous about me going outside with it but i'll be with someone in the yard and i can enjoy the outdoors like everyone else! How about you, do you ever go outside? The other kitty we had only started to when she was older and never by herself just when someone was outside with her. Her name was Kitsy but she passed away in September. She was 21 years old. We were all very sad even though i wasn't around her all that long. I came long in August when i was a stray and neglected on my owner's street. I have a very good life now with lots of love and attention. Not to mention i am very spoiled! Sorry to hear that you were in the shelter for so long.
