janet didn't mind working but this morning had a little trouble since she woke up between 1-2 and had to make a pit stop and by the time she was relaxed and back to sleep, you guessed it right, was time to get up and start blogging for this morning! she got half of the weeding done yesterday leaving just the other two parts to be done between today and tomorrow before it starts to warm up and she's sitting outside reading once again. sports day wed. sandy,ana,haley,angels

we were
into the 80s once again yesterday for a good part of the day till the backdoor cool front pushes in from the mari-times and we're only supposed to be upper 60s here today too, but back to the 70s starting tomorrow, so only a 1-day thing. janet heard sandy meowing to come into her bedroom, but was into a deep sleep and then woke up and realized it was time to get up. sports day today! sandy, ana,haley,angels

nice and warm since the air is so dry, everything else which is nice and green is now turning the ugly brown it was earlier this past month as we are going into a drought condition and fire danger is extermely high here through till next week when we're supposed to get some rain. janet walks in 45 minutes, so have to get cracking to the next entry. sandy,ana,haley,angels

we're starting to make
inroads from where janet left off after getting in from her walk and doing potatoes for herbed potato salad for supper tonight with another cookout like last night. she'll have to do that after lunch as she's marinating some chicken tenders for her and the others and maybe some burgers too. she had a good hbp/cholesterol check and goes back for more testing in july, just her blood sugars are up so she's got to cut back more on her starches which she so loves. she also paid off her car insurance in one big payment and is waiting to see about the surcharge she's now fighting as of right now as she sent in that form yesterday. she worked raking up more nasty pine needles which nat didn't get up. she got weeds pulled as well as planting 2 rows each of leeks and sweet onions and one each of broccoli and radish/lettuce mix. with a few onions/leeks leftover to get into mommy's patch outback of the picture window. we're into the 70s here today, yipee! sandy,ana,haley, angels
