Jupiter rules the night in November 2011 as it shines and beams, like a lighthouse, in the east moving westward and upward from evening dusk until morning dawn.
Meteors in annual showers originate as grains of dust or ice in space, left behind by comets. After midnight, the part of Earth you’re standing on has turned so that you face head on into the incoming stream of space debris. So you typically see more meteors after midnight – unless the moon happens to rise in the middle of the night. Although the moon may wash out some Leonid meteors, it acts as your guide to the meteor shower radiant and the red planet Mars.
The annual Leonid meteor shower ramps up a few additional streaks of light and gets underway in November 6. With the Moon currently waxing toward Full, the best views will come before dawn tomorrow and Tuesday in the hour or two after the Moon sets. Astronomers expect the shower to peak the night of November 17/18.

Hello You Guys!
I am sorry I am late in getting back in touch. Mom and I finally moved, but had to deal with alot of frustration. I enjoy the new apartment and am freer to act on my daily "kitty crazies" as Mom calls them. I run madly across the living room and down the hallway and attack invisible things. I then run back and roll over. You all know the deal I am sure! I love it and Mom laughs when I do it. She tells me to stop running like a horse and making noise! Hope all is well with you kitties. Hello Friends

What pretty kitties you are. Mom loves her kitties. I am Zelda and I am a tabby like you. I am a bit chubby, because I had the operation. I do excercise a lot and love to play to keep in shape.
