3 Weeks
It has now been 3 weeks since I have joined my new family. I am adjusting quite well. Even though I miss my mommy and daddy, I sure do love living here in my new home. I am loved, petted, and played with daily.Come visit me, Snickers Doodle Stephens.

Mystery To Me!
When I woke up today my claw tips were gone! This is not the first time this has happened. I sharpen my claws, and then I take a cat nap and when I wake up, ... gone.

Cat Show - Denver 4/10-11
There is a cat show this weekend in Denver at Crowne Plaza. It goes from 9-5 on Saturday. The website is:

A young Tobeka showed up at an elderly gentleman’s home & made herself comfortable. Unfortunately, the gentleman’s female cat did not like young Tobeka so the man phoned the Pound to take Tobeka away. Sadly, the Pound will shoot unclaimed kitties after 3 days so this was especially bad news for Tobeka. The Pound man’s wife phoned her Mom, who ran a rescue, and said “There is a really sweet kitty here and I do think she would make someone a great pet.” She asked her Mom to come & pick up Tobeka before her time would be up. The Mom’s Rescue was full at the time but she decided Tobeka could live in her bedroom until she got her shots and spay surgery. The bedroom is normally off limits to the kitties as their Rescue Mommy is allergic to cats but she could not bare to think of Tobeka getting shot. She promptly picked up Tobeka and found she was a very sociable friendly cat that was terribly lonely without companionship. Rescue Mom bought Tobeka, with her distinct stripes and white paws, a stuffed toy Zebra to keep her company and help her adjust. Well, Tobeka fell in love with her zebra! She and Zeb, the zebra, hang out together, sleep together and play together! Once she got all her shots, Tobeka was allowed out of the bedroom. Tobeka happily came out of the bedroom, dragging Zeb with her! She drags Zeb everywhere she goes! Tender Tobeka is such a friendly kitty, she never fights with anyone! If another cat takes a slap at her, she just gently walks away. She loves to play with all the other cats & dogs and is fearless about everything. Tobeka enjoys life and enjoys companionship! She asked us to tell you all about her special “friend” Zeb the zebra as she will share her COTD badge with him since she shares everything with Zeb!

Delilah
Today was a very interesting day. I was sleeping in my condo on the 3rd level and a little black dog came into my home. I have never seen something like this. My special person said her name is Delilah and she is a min pin. She couldn't get close to me, but she saw me and I instantly got scared. My fur all stood up and I started to hiss at her. Aaron said she won't hurt me, but I wanted her to go away. After I started growling, she finally went away. I wasn't sure if it was safe to come out of my kitty house, so I stayed in there for most of the night. After I was sure the little black dog was gone I took a nap in Aaron's lap. I am okay now. Tomorrow I am supposed to see Sampson. He is a min pin also.Come visit me, Snickers Doodle Stephens.

They are all very nice and are always happy to see me. I am going to keep updating my kitty blog, so when I'm old and grown up I can remember what it was like to be a kitten.
My special person, Aaron, made a new toy for me. It is a small ball with feathers on it. It is attached to a short pole with 20 lb fishing line. To me it looks like some weird freaky animal. It moves. It jumps. It flies. I sometimes can catch it. I love playing with that toy. I hope I get to play with it every day. He laughs and says he is cat fishing.
My report from the vet came in today. Everything looks great and Dr. Lucia Miller says I am a very beautiful kitten. I have all my shots for being an indoor kitty. I have also decided that I like sitting on Aaron's laptop when he is working. I am not sure what all those things are moving around in the box, but I sure do want to touch them. I also like to help him type. I keep trying to get his attention but he seems busy. Darn him. Can't he see I just want to play?
<yawn> I guess I need a little cat nap.

Adjusting to my new home
I have now been with my new family for just five days. They are very nice to me. They hold me, and pet me, and love me every day. I thought I was going to be lonely from my mommy and daddy, but my special person has made things A-OK for me. I don't have to fight for food. I have raw chicken like before but now I also have this new food that comes out of a can. I have my OWN litter box that cleans itself! I have my own kitty condo all to myself, and no one pushes me out of it.Come visit me, Snickers Doodle Stephens.

Awards
My mother and father and my grandmother are all grand champions. My daddy and grandma is a TICA international grand champion. My brother is starring in a Ralph Lauren advertising campaign. I am 14 weeks old and I am not going to be a show cat. But everyone thinks that I am beautiful and pretty. Like a true silver Egyptian Mau, my fur is white with black spots and stripes. My mascara lines are profound and you can see my scarab "M" on my foreheard. I have been called a snow leopard because of my coat.Come visit me, Snickers Doodle Stephens.
