How We Met
THE NEIGHBOR GIRLS FOUND HIM, COVERED IN MOTOR OIL. HE HAD SAND, TWIGS AND DIRT GROUND INTO HIS COAT FROM HEAD TO TAIL. SOME TEENAGE GIRLS WERE STEPPING ON HIS TAIL AND BEING MEAN TO HIM. SO THEY BROUGHT HIM OVER TO ME, AS I'M A SUCKER FOR CATS IN DISTRESS. AFTER MANY BATHS, HE GOT FIXED, SHOTS AND HAS BEEN AN INDOOR KITTY SINCE SUMMER OF '09.

oh..i am on my way...today wasn't as cold as predicted but we still couln't go out..i just want sun..sun..and more sun!
i can decorate my beach hut any way i want? well..i do like blue..teehee...and a nicetouch to have a glider, too...i can't wait to feel the sand in my paws...i think sammy has his hut next to steve's..i think i'll build mine a ways away from them..they will make way too much noise for me..i'd never get any sleep..teehee..
mom has been pretty much horizontal today..our human brother came over last friday and left his cold for mom..wasn't that nice of him? she is feeling some better but is pretty slow...
mom sent your mom an em..finally..teehee..see, i told you she was slow...
yikes...johnny cat gained 1/2 #? wow..your mom had better do some weight lifting to be able to lift him now..teehee..

oh my..i love hearing from you..it is wonderful..and gosh..tahnk you for the complement..i try to keep myself in good shape..mom is good, too, to make sure i get plenty of exercise..
i'd lvoe to ahve a picnic with you..but it has to be on your glider..it's way too cold and gray here and it wouldn't be any fun at all..well..except..maybe we could snuggle together..teehee...
thanks for bringing the food, too...those cool mint juleps remind me of warm, summer nights..jsut what i need...
i still haven't gotton too close to that furless ktiten..i will let the younsters be brave and act silly around her..i am too dignified for that..i think i will wait until she is a little older and not quite so grabby..
sammy is planning on getting one of mallow's ocean front properties down at pinto island , too..maybe we can all meet up there soon..it would be nice to ahve soem sun and surf isntead of what we have here..

~Caturday meows from the NICE Crew~
Hi dear furiends,
Sorry we've been MIA for the last few days but mom has been working on thank you notes to people that sent cards, flowers, etc. for GM's funeral last month. That isn't going very fast either because she stops to read each one & gets the teary eyed depression going on. She says it's hard to get back into a 'normal' routine after last month but she's working on it!
She's also been trying to talk to a stray kitty that's been hanging around the last couple of days. He (for lack of actually knowing yet) is a beautiful long haired golden kitty that acts terrified of everything around him. Today he took his first step in coming when the others were called for breakfast so she's hoping he'll realize that he's among kitty lovers & has nothing to fear. Joseph is being a little pushy with him by growling when he gets too close but that's kind of understandable since he's the self proclaimed ruler of the great outdoors around here. The good thing about Joseph being the 'ruler' is that he's more growl than action so don't think he'll cause too many issues once he gets used to the idea. We have no idea where he came from or how he got here but we're glad he stumbled into our yard (actually camps out in the barn) since the weather has been so bitterly cold. Before I know it mom will have that strange kitty smell on her again & I'll have to give her 'the look' though...MOL!
Speaking of the look! Fluffinella has become my constant shadow, whether I want her to be or not! If I hear a mouse & jump to the top of the cat condo to check it out so does she. Mom says I should be flattered that she wants to mimic my every move but sometimes a girl needs her private space to meditate so I have to whack her ears & leave the room at light speed to evade her. When she can't find me then she locates Patches or Zaboo. Patches plays with her sometimes but Zaboo tries to pretend she's not there...which never works...MOL! He finally ends up holding her down & cleaning her ears or face to make her rethink bothering him. Well got to run for now so I can help little bro defeat one of his new video games. Have a pawtastic weekend!

we had a nice Christmas with our furless kitten,although she was more interested in us and all those ribbons..teehee...maybe next year it will be different..

oh..that's ok..it is good to ehar from you any time..and mom has been a little bit shy about letting us come by and visit, too..i think her paws are still a little sore..we are pretty far behind right now, too..and who knows when we'll get caught up..but mom keeps plugging away..a little bit every day..but she isn't as carazy about it as before..sigh..doesn't she know it's hurting us..and not her?
i am glad your mom si feeling better..and has more enrgy..more time to be able to play with all of you. i hope johnny cat is able to get his medicine still and keeps feeling better.
what are we doing? well..no turkey dinenr for us..dad is working and mom says it's just us and she's not going to fix a meal..i hope that doesn't mean she isn't going to feed us..we don't really like that ol' turkey anyway...so..we'll just have a ncie relaxing day...

i am soo glad..i was beginning to worry..but now i know i don't have to..
i would love to sit in the glider with you in our nice snug snuggies..and the "bluey moonpies"..it will be a full moon monday..dress up in blue? how romantic..we will look like 2 peas in a pod..well..almost..teehee..i guess i don't have a jiggly belly..that's soo funny what your mom does to you..mm used to do the same thing to our angel max.
oh..i know..miss a. gracie sure is deserving of all the attention and love from everyone...i have a realy warm feeling in my heart for her...
oh gosh..i had to go to that ol' v-e-t today..sigh..i'm afraid i have lost a lb. since last year...and i eat all the time..i promise...but othersie, i am pretty healthy and can still kick up my heels with the best of them...maybe mom needs to give me more treats..teehee..
mom got a good laugh today..while at the v-e-t..i crawled up and hid in lia's carrier..with her in it...mom had to practically un-end it to get to me..teehee...well..i didn't want to be there..what would you ahve done?
we're just hangin' out with mom tonight.dad is out shooting something he calls "pool"...it's ncie..jsut her and us...

Happy Tuesday!
We haven't been by with Mews for some time and haven't made any real CC rounds, but time to do so. Hope to see you tomorrow at practice Bluey! Mom is settling into her retirement, with more business to take care of than she realized, but its all good. She is having some fun too, visiting old friends. She dropped our landline phone. If you have her cel# it is good. She put up a new picture of Barney on his page and added our new foster bro Zeus to the pics on the bottom of Andy's page. He is the orange cat, a livewire and wiseguy too! Mom has to make sure anything electronic is not near the edge of a table or it will surely be on the floor! Mom is busy with what she calls Fall Housecleaning and we all intend to help her. Why does she complain when we knock over her piles of stuff or play in the boxes she leaves around? Thought that was what they were for. How ya been??/ I am good. waiting for it to rain...MOL. The sun was out earlier and we got hot, but then it clouded up and rain is coming for the evening and into the night.
No, we do not go to MHl prtactise a lot. We just started going to a few practises to see our friends, but we are missing tonight as us boys are going to K Mikes bachelor pawty. We are getting ready for that now and the girls are getting ready to go to MHL practise to see theior girlfriends...I bet it will be mostly girls tonight as all the guys will be at Mike's pawty...
I am hapy you want to be friends with me. I am friends with Gracie, too..we are twins and we look alike. i think Gracie blogs with Kelsee, too.

did you see....
me and angel maitai there at your party? it was us there as our other angels were divided between another party down south, and ralphie was busy piloting angel air as that's the way we came and had to leave by 8 your time or 11 our time. we made it home in record time thanks to cool fronts coming from that way. at last we made it to a few hours at our party here as it certainly was the hit according to all who came! next time maybe our angel air could bring one of you by to party like we divided our-selves up. it was ana and haley holding down the fort here and having all the fun last night with sparkler tag, water sliding and ice cube hockey. well the autumn games start up the week of the 16th just to give you a heads up. got stewed nuts moving in today and tomorrow so most of the roads in/out of town will be clogged seeing we have 3 colleges here. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

Crimeny...is CC ever slow right now..goodness, takes furever to get to my friends pages.
We had a nice day today..it was in the low 80's and sunny all day long, so when mom came home of course you know we all wanted to go outside and play...then mom came out and watered her flowers and we all went on the porch til she was done.
Guess what ??? I {yep me} spotted some cat in the alley today over by our neighbors garage...then when mom went over to see what *I* was looking at she spotted the cat and 2 kittens and 1 of the kittens looks just like me.{NOT MINE---I'M FIXED..HONEST!!} they are very skittish and run away when mom goes out in the alley...she took some food out to them and put it down and waited, but they did not even come out from the garage until they saw mom come back in our yard, then all 3 of them gobbled the food up...mom said she will feed them everyday she sees them...today is the 1st time we ever saw them and it was ME who spotted the momcat. *I* was sitting there, ears all perked up and staring very intently out the fence.
Mom said I am a good watchcat!!! Then all of the others came to the fence when they finished eating and were chasing moms tail around...our mom said the kittens look like they are about 8 weeks old now.
If mom can ever get close enough to pet them while they eat, she will try to tame them and take them to our Vet so he can examine them and find them homes.

Hi dear Bluey and family!
Thank you so much for coming over with your sweet words of concatulations. Mom surely did not expect to see her kitty on the front page today; I only had five visitors yesterday; clearly no one was blogging as usual. Mom and I believe dear Angel Aunt Samantha should be honored today.
We are having a low-key celebration and I am passing out black arm bands with tiny pink CC embroidered on them and we will share hugs and tissues with our dear CC furriends today.
I dedicated my badge when mom first saw I was on the front page: now mom decided to put Angel Aunt Samantha's beautiful memorial photo on the front page. I don't need a shiny badge or to be the center of attention when I have such wonderful and dear furriends like you and your family! Those are the real treasures.
This is a beautiful community of the most loving and caring kitty families and that is something we can truly celebrate!

Happy Caturday!
Sorry we haven't been by a few days, but mom has been sick with stomach flu. No fun! On her Birthday too, which was yesterday. She is going to her cousin Janet's today and hopes she feel up to going out to eat. Hope all is well with you. Hot here, but we do have air. Mom may also be sick because the air went out at work. They need a new condenser.
