How We Met
A woman rescued Auria and was brought to the Vet that we use for our animals. When I brought my dogs in for an annual check, the Vet said , "I have a cat for you!". I was so surprised and taken back as my vet said that she is "not" a nice cat. She is declawed front and back. And I thought why would my vet tell me that she is "not" a nice cat. Well, 3 weeks later, in our home. It seems that she is very scared and my husband and I feel that she may have been abused. So, we are so happy to love her and give her a home. As we know, with time, with love, and with proper care, Auria will relax and be at peace here in her new home.
Because she was found, I have been doing all this research to try and figure out what type of cat she is. My first guess was a Ragdoll. Second guess, a snowshoe longhair, third guess a main coon. So this is still a toss. Yet, when I looked up Ragdoll, I saw a cat with very similar color and face markings. And when I contacted the main coon rescue foundation, the woman there felt that Auria had the features of the main coon and colors of the snow shoe. So........we are still debating and researcing on her type. But she is a beauty!

Dear Auria & Lydia, Hello my friends. I hope you had a wonderful day! I hope you have the windows open to enjoy this beautiful weather. There are dozens of birds outside chirping their hearts out. I am having a blast watching them. I caught my first ladybug of the season. I must admit that it kept me entertained for quite a while. I would watch it crawl up the screen and then whack it down. Then it would pretend to be dead until it thought I wasn't watching and it would crawl back up the screen. You can guess what I did!!! I like the new picture that you posted on your page. SOMETHING FUN...
Hello Mommies, Kitties & Our #1 On-line Dadcat, Last Month the Ragdoll Gang thought it would be a nice idea if we all picked a week to post kitten pictures of our babies. We bounced the idea around and it received positive feedback. So here it goes... Please join our first Annual “YOU'VE MUST HAVE BEEN A BEAUTIFUL BABY" Celebration in honor of Mother's Day. This Saturday we ask that you post 6 pictures of your kitty when they were kittens or when you first brought them home. These pictures would be different than the ones that you have posted now. It would let you reminist over photos that you haven't looked at in a while and it would let everyone else see something new. If you adopted your baby as an adult cat then try to find some pictures that we haven't seen. If you don't have a digital camera you can always scan a picture and post it to the site that way. If your baby is still a kitten then perhaps you can just switch the photos around a bit. We would leave the photos up for a week and the following weekend you can post anything you want. This would be an activity that we can all do together no matter where we live. Our friends’ homes range from Australia in the West as far as Belgrade, Serbia in the East. The majority of us are in the States & Canada. What a fun way to come together. If you can't switch your pictures you can still participate by enjoying the baby pictures posted on the other Kitty sites. So if you like the idea and want to join us please do. If you have any questions let me know and I will try to get right back to you. There are 112 Kitties in our immediate Friend's circle. We tried to figure out what kind of kitty you were. Some Maine Coon and Maybe Norwegian forest cat. See Missy. We have 4 kitties and except for Missy and Ole Gray who is a Russian Blue. We dont know. Zippi is a Hemmingway kitty and Taz is a mess of good kitty types. Drop by and visit. Dont worry what you are we will love you anyways. We just stopped by to say meow and send you a vote. We are shelter kitties and dad gave us a forever home and still doeesnt know that we picked him (yes I do..DAD) We sent prissy Missy to the groomers today and now she is ignoring us.
