My favorite tricks and treats are: Cute really well, jump on mom to help her get dressed in the morning. I ride on her shoulder. Bootsie and Little Missy taught me this and Anything but greenies....go figure???

Hi Whumpie
Mom and I are overwhelmed by the support we have received since my pawnail incident. I have been the bestest patient in all of history… “what?…. Mom, I’m typing. Yes, I know what I just wrote….what do you mean there’s no need to exaggerate? I’m just being honest….Look, Jinx is chasing Max and Dex, you’d better go make sure they don’t break anything….” Where was I? Oh yes, the bestest patient ever. I have been resting comfortably, mostly snoozing off and on since my pain medicine causes drowsiness. But I have been taking my medicine, eating, drinking and….*ahem*….doing my business normally. I have not played, but then I rarely do anymore. It’s much more fun to watch my brothers exhaust themselves. Mom says my paw looks so much better. I go back to the vet on Friday for a follow-up and then I should be all done. Mom also has a friend who is familiar with my paw who will be clipping my nails from now on. That way we can avoid this happening again. Thank you for my surprise COTD shout-out. We had no idea until this morning and we are very touched. I am dedicating my badge to all my wonderful friends here on CC. Oh my goodness! What a surprise it was to look in the box of honor this morning and see ME!! Mom and I are overwhelmed and very grateful. She still misses me everyday but can feel my presence as I watch over her and my other fursiblings. Please come and join me and all the Angels on Sunshine Mountain today to celebrate. I am firing up the grill for an all day barbeque of the most delicious, delectable, delightful delicacies you can imagine. Plus, there will be games, fishing, sailing and plenty of shady spots for catnapping or relaxing. It will be fun, fun, fun and it will be the perfect way for me to share my unexpected win today. OMG! I won my 4th Cat of the Day Badge today 7/07/2011! What an Honor and Surprise! Thank You All!
When mom came out to feed us our early morning breakfast ((kibbles)) she said "Congratulations Samantha! You are Cat of the Day today". After mom finished us up this morning, she came back out with some Pounce treats just for me. No one else got any! MOL! Mom and I was so SURPRISED me getting my 4th COTD. Thank You All for making this happen!
I wish to dedicate my 4th COTD Badge to our mom as if it wasn't for her none of us would be CC members plus she discusses with us what we are going to write about in our message with what's appropriate to say then she does the typing, too, while we supervise her. She shows each one of us individual loves and pets as well as uses our names instead of saying kitty kitty. I believe she is a well deserving mom for this Honor you all has given to me.
Thank you also for all the gifts, goodies, flowers, balloons and treats. I have shared everything with my family. My SPECIAL Thank You goes out to Boo Kitty 154855 and Momma Jane for my beautiful COTD frame.

Happy Mother's Day to your sweet Mom. I left this poem on the Mews Page this morning but wanted to share it again in case you didn't see it. I gave the card that had the poem on it in 2003, my 3rd year with my Mom. A MOTHER'S DAY POEM FROM THE CAT Having fun with yarn and string, Leaving fur on everything, Purring when I get a treat, Always landing on my feet, Posing on a windowsill, Staring like I want to kill, Leaping with both skill and grace, Acting like I own the place, Playing with your rolled-up socks, Visiting the litter box, Seeing who I can ignore, Deciding who's the biggest bore, Taking naps on top of you...These are things I love to do!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! Most of it is like the author knew me personally! Mom and I had a good day with lots of purrs and loving and treats, such a perfect day. My Mom has finally been allowed by the chiropractor to start back slowly to her Curves classes and to walk slowly on her treadmill. She started back to Curves but not the treadmill as yet. I use the treadmill as a perch to watch television from MOL. I am still missing my sweet Maggie so very much and appreciate prayers for us and Mom Pat. Mom and I worry about Mom Pat a lot. What day is TiTi running for COTD? Maybe we will make it to AZ someday too. Either way we can plan to meet someday. I hope you gave your Mom lots of love today. Your kidding me, Reddie weighs 21 lbs!! Wow. Bet you don't want him sitting on you. MOL. Nice to hear from Dottie. Guess what? We got a package in the mail today. And mom said it was ALL mine!! It was 2 YEOWWWW Bananas. But mom put one away for when this one spoils. TIMMYS WHIMSICAL WISDOMS: Why do cats go to the one person in the room that doesn't like cats? When a cat enters a room of people who are staring at him, he becomes uncomfortable. Then he notices the one person ignoring him-the person that dislikes cats. The cat goes to that person to seek a safe haven from those fawning over him. (doesn't work in this house because if a roomful of people were here, we would ALL be under the bed). WOW!!! WHAT A SURPRISE!!!
Thank you so much for my second COTD Award. Mom's computer was in for repairs when this happened, so we did not know about it until a few days later ... and then we still had to wait for repairs to be completed. SO ... rather than explain myself further for the delay, I will say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for this honor. Many who voted for me were already dear friends; the rest of you are about to become dear friends, I hope. The pile of gifts ... toys, treats, and girlie treats ... is so big, we may need to build an addition on the house to hold it all. Mom ate anything that was chocolate, but I'm guarding with tooth and claw everything else. Hope you'll excuse the cut-and-paste; the list is so wonderfully long, I'll be on all day getting my thank you's done.
