Hi sweet Malachi
How is the weather now? Is it still as hot?Right now we are concerned with the rains and floods. Dehradun where we live is the capital of the northern state of Uttarakhand. [India has 28 states and 7 union territories]. Dehradun is a valley, but most of the state is mountainous. High in the mountains are four important temples. Snowbound in winter, they close from November to mid May, and after they reopen, the pilgrimage season starts.
This year the southwest monsoon came early. In this area it rained non-stop from 14th to 17th June. The rivers rose. In the mountainous areas, four hundred roads and bridges were washed away. Houses and hotels collapsed like cards. Thousands of people and animals are missing. 70,000 pilgrims are stranded.

OK those toys are in a bag in mom's closet. She had gotten some of them when she had Angel Sassy. They were her favorite and mom got them on sale after Christmas. Mom says it's easier on the pocket book. What does a book have to do with toys?

Mom is watching game 4 of the Boston/Hawks series. Hawks are ahead by 1 going into the 3rd period. Come on Boston. Boston just scored..tied at 4 each.

I spent the day outside today, it was purrfect out. 77* and sunny with a light breeze. just purrfect. Mom enjoyed being outside too with her Kindle Fire, she has music and games and books on it, so she was reading.

We also BBQ'd outside and mom had burgers and beans and shared a burger with us, I had 1 bite and Jesse & Kelsee had lots of bites...mom always makes us a burger and them 2 eat it all. MOL!!! I do not eat people food a lot, my fave is chicken.

♥ Wow!!!! Was I surprised when mom got an email letting her know the winners were available and that mom and I won 2nd Place in the Hug Your Cat Contest!!!! We are very happy that Winslow 132020 and his sweet momma Shirley had won 1st Place!!!! Mom sent her an email to let her know yesterday and she was happy to hear her fur baby had won!!!!

♥ Mom and I do want to apologize though for the picture mom had chosen to enter as it was the same one she chose for last year's contest. We never knew that til one of our friends told us about half way thru the contest. Thank you to those who voted for me!!!!

♥ Well, I had to try out the new kitty bed, too, and of course, mom had to get a picture of me so now she also changed my profile photo this evening!!!!

♥ We think that with these wild fires that happens every year and burns the homes down then they rebuild just for it to happen all over again, that they should build solid brick homes as they are fire proof and the humans wouldn't loose their belongings and mostly their beloved fur babies!!!!

yeah..don't we live in a democratic society anymore? geesh..but, i have to admit..if baby kitties are as bad as furless kittens..mom probably made the right decision. hehe
we had some pretty good excitement here last night. our dad was over at a friends..got dizzy and passed out..so mom spent a good deal of the night in the e.r...today, he had heart tests. he is home now and is on a heart monitor for 24 hours but is feeling fine. mom thinks he is still a little "off" cuz he also hit his head..but she will be watching him closely..
AND, mom even cooked dinenr tonight..that's amazing in of itself cuz mom NEVER cooks..hehe..
AND, to top all this off..mom had a flat tire on the way to the hospital this morning. hehe..when it rains it pours..
hope you all had a ncie day..i SAW it was nice even though we couldn't go outside..sammy

Hi Sir Malachi!
It was quite windy this morning when my Mom fed the outside kitties, so it was very distracting for both cats. They were very jumpy at any noise, such as leaves blowing across the driveway. It took them awhile to finish eating, but they did, stayed for a little petting and then headed back to their Igloo where they felt safer. Callie and I are watching the trees blow, safely from our bay window. The perks of being an indoor cat!

I left a vote with purrs and hugs. CC is very slow today. Sorry for being so late :(

It sounds like you are blessed as well. Spoilt? We are spoilt and it is 7 kitties to 1 human! With 2 on full time staff, you must be overwhelmed! Are you able to care for them both sufficiently? Koshka was an only cat for several months but mama felt bad that he was alone so much and Katya joined the family. After that, God kept referring kitties to us. Now we have a full house! CC is putting a kink in my tail today
& if it moves any slower I'm going to find a snail to blog for me before I start clawing the keyboard...MOL!

I was hissing at the window earlier this morning when I saw my crazy mommy cat Sassee getting ready to jump at the screen. Trixie ran up to join me in hissing at her & then she left so must have decided that pouncing toward 2 hissing kitties might not be such a great idea...MOL! Mom has been able to pet her dark tiger kitten but the other one scampers off (like I used to) anytime he/she hears a noise. Time & lots of mom's patience will hopefully tame these two wildcats just like it did me. Joseph is another prime example of patience & love because he wouldn't have survived without mom's help. He's a sweet & gentle boy that loves to lay on mom's lap when she's sitting outside...or when he's in for his daily visit. I hiss at him when he comes in but he ignores me so guess I'm not as scary as I think I am...MOL!

Zaboo & Patches are doing fine & have been enjoying the last couple of days when mom has been able to open the windows. She says she'll probably have to shut them down later this afternoon though because it's beginning to heat up even higher temps predicted for the rest of the week. Guess we should expect that though since summer is peeking around the corner at us. Well I'd better get pouncing so I can visit as many as possible today & clean up our pages. Have a pawtastic day dear furiends!

Instead Skitzy went into hiding after you joined our household. But I think the two of you can work out some sort of compromise!" I hoped for a miracle, I knew probably would never happen.

"You gotta be kidding me!" Cole started laughing at both Skitzy and myself! Cole chatters a lot at me. I don't understand half of what his meows mean, but I knew he was now defending his position to me. "There is only one reigning King Cat of this Cat House, and that's Me! The sooner you two females both accept that, the better off we'll all be. If I were to act differently now, it would show great disrespect to the long lineage of my black cat hunter heritage. You wouldn't want me to be viewed disgracefully by my family ancestors, now would you?"

"Didn't you notice how scared I was the last time he went after me? Or don't you care anymore?" Skitzy directed her questions of distress to me!

"Scaredy Cat, Scaredy Cat. Skitzy's nothing but a Scaredy cat!" Cole seemed to enjoy the way he was mocking Skitzy!

"Cole" I said "That's enough!"

"I'm sorry this has been traumatic for you Skitzy! I'll try to do better, and give you more quality time and attention. But you have to do your part too, and stop hiding out under my bed so much! How can I pet you, when I can't reach you under there very easily?"

"How many times have I heard you say that? You're always telling me you'll do better, but it never happens! I've been your sweet and loving cat all along, until you brought that...that...grievous cat Cole into this place" Skitzy sputtered. "I've done nothing wrong whatsoever to deserve the treatment I've gotten from either one of you!" I had to admit, she was justified in feeling that way.

what your mom told janet she thinks that the server was down or something of that type or if there were solar flares that too cuts things off. with cc moving at a snails pace she's racing to make entries shorter and we did tell you that we can have the ceremony in the front yard if need be or in the garage which is all decorated just in case. going to be lovely today cooler and clear with no humidity or chances of more showers like the past 2 days. looks like more weeding for janet especially in the herb garden by friday as well as doing wash when she gets home from work tomorrow as she'll do her banking on friday instead so she can figure out how much she's going to take out of her savings and leave in there as she'll have to pay nat's car insurance which is really expensive. sandy,ana,haley,angels

The only way I could get her out from under there, was by moving my bed a few times. Then she'd reluctantly and fearfully dash into the room she was confined to. Then Cole got his turn to explore the other rooms.

Before, when it was Skitzy's turn to be out, she'd run around the back of the living room couch, or plop down in my lap to help me with my latest knitting project. Now the only place she seemed to want to be, was under my bed.

"That hour you spent cuddling me when we watched Ice Skating together was really nice" Skitzy continued, "but most of the time I hardly get five minutes of you petting me or paying attention to me. Sometimes I think you forget that I'm even around. You've become so computer addicted, that the only time I get let out now, is when you're getting ready to go to sleep. Do you call that quality cat/human time?" Skitzy asked me in disgust.

"I used to be able to type on the keys of the computer, or block your view of the computer screen, or curl up for a nap in your lap, while you typed." Skitzy reminisced. "Now I never get to go in that room anymore, since Cole's been here!"

I felt a rip to my heart. I thought of changing things around, but when Cole was first confined to a different room, he tore up the carpeting trying to get out. Granted the carpeting was old, and needs to be replaced anyway, but I didn't expect Cole would so actively assist with that job. Or I could move the computer to the other room, to have more quality time with Skitzy, but that would be a big undertaking on my part.

"Oh you're such a little baby, Skitzy." Cole piped in with a smug look on his face. "Why don't you just face facts? Our human person, just happens to like me better than she likes you!"

"That's not true!" I protested. How did I become the human enemy in all of this? "I love you both and care about the welfare of both of you." The nerve of Cole, coming out with those upsetting remarks to Skitzy and to me! Cole can be a bratty cat at times and this was one of them.

"Well you hurt me the last time you attacked me!" Skitzy said plaintively.

"It's not my fault that you must have flunked out of your cat courses in how to defend yourself! I'm just doing what comes naturally to me. Which is go after anything that moves. You move Skitzy, I'll go after you. It's as simple as that!"

"What do you expect me to do? Stand still, like I'm some sort of cat statue or something?"

"Cole" I intervened. "You're a lot bigger than Skitzy is!

Guess what? It rained today! Mom did not get to mow the lawn but did cut down all the stray bushes growing all around the yard. Hope she didn't pick up any poison ivy. It's pouring as I look out the window. Thank goodness I'm not outside! Wonder where the Doodles and BatCat might be hiding? Mom has still to figure out why they don't spend time on the front porch when the weather is bad? They have a large doggie bed set up for them along with their winter house--the house is probably too hot fur them now. Aw, don't be nervous about your wedding. It will be wonderful. I'll be sending pawsitive vibes to you and Ana on that morning. I am very excited for the both of you!

This morning my Mom was feeding the outside cats, Whitey & Orangie, just like every morning, when suddenly a big, loud meow came from inside the house. It was me, Whiskers, standing on the other side of the kitchen door that leads to the garage. Mom said Whitey & Orangie were both startled. Orangie ran for cover to the Igloo, but Whitey slowly walked into the garage, right up to the kitchen door and just kept listening. I meowed a few more times and Mom said Whitey just sat there, listening intently. She sniffed the door and then walked back to Mom to be petted. Well, Whitey has never walked that far into the garage and she wasn’t scared. My Mom is hoping this is a sign that we will get along with one another, once they finally do come inside. It was a very good morning!

Big Sur Coast Highway to Carmel

The Royal Feline Castle Train will be our guide through the Big Sur Coast Highway. We want to enjoy the spectacular scenery during the day, so after dinner on the train, we can all relax onboard for the night. Sip a cocktail in the lounge car, read in the library, gain a tree-top perspective of the landscape from the dome car or join furiends around the piano. Or simply relax in your cabin in the comfort of our sleeping cars until morning, when the breakfast bell chimes, signaling our journey is about to commence.

The stunning views of the Pacific Ocean right outside our windows make the perfect companion to our breakfast meal. Tables are set with crisp starched linens and fine china and glassware reminiscent of the glory days of rail travel.

Timing is perfect to enjoy a spectacular view of the California coastline as our train travels to our next destination of Carmel. We will be traveling the route that hugs the California coast, providing access to austere, windswept cypress trees, fog-shrouded cliffs and the crashing surf of the Pacific Ocean. Views include rugged canyons, towering redwoods, sea lions, and other marine life.

Big Sur's beaches are subject to generally cool weather. Sunny days are sporadic as a blanket of seasonal fog often hugs the coastline, dropping the temperature in the process. Private property and Big Sur's steep terrain make most of its coastline inaccessible to the public. However, several State Park and U.S. Forest Service beaches are open to the public all year. These beaches are recommended due to easy access and spine-tingling scenery.

The actual town of Big Sur has been a fertile area for artistic advancements. A variety of authors have immortalized the region with the written word. In the late 19th century, Robert Louis Stevenson lived briefly in the area, followed by John Steinbeck, Henry Miller, and Jack Kerouac, among others. Unlike many areas honored in literature, Big Sur remains relatively unchanged over the years.

John Steinbeck wrote, "Here at Big Sur, at a certain time of the year and a certain time of the day only, a pale blue-green hue pervades the distant hills; it is an old, nostalgic hue, it is a mystical phenomenon, or so I like to think, born of a certain way of looking at the world."

John Steinbeck's legacy is now synonymous with the Big Sur area. Known as Steinbeck Country, the cities of Monterey, Carmel and Salinas on the northern end of the byway brim with memories of John Steinbeck's legacy.

Our journey for now is almost over as we arrive to the city of Carmel.

I am muchly blessed feline fellow. Mama holds us or pats us and prays fur us every day. Koshka insists angels used to come and play with him before Katya arrived. I do enjoy having all these sibs to love on. They are not as quarrelsome as some of my previous fursibs. Sometimes I must raise the paw, but mostly they are well behaved and loving. Like me! if it does we have the garage decorated and will s
stay that way so if we have to use it for the wedding we can and the backyard if it's threatening, how's that. can still see the sunrise over the pelham hills to the north-east of here. it's gonna be a hot one anyways and only a scant chance of a pop up shower in the afternoon which happened yesterday out of the blue! more going to be like that today, then sunny and dry 80s the next 3 days before the humidity returns on saturday, so all in all not to bad. we can have a breakfast once we've gotten to the nh line after we've gotten off of I-91 up through mass/vt like janet and nat will do on sunday, is that okay? sandy,ana,haley,angels

On the road again ...
Along the border of North Carolina and Tennessee, straddling the ridgeline of the Great Smoky Mountains, lies the most visited of our national parks, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It sometimes seems impossible to find respite from the crowds touring and snapping photos in Cades Cove, Cataloochee, or Clingmans Dome, but we have found a unique piece of history begging for discovery away from the public’s eye. Near the northern border of the Park lies the Walker Sisters’ Cabin located in a narrow valley. Just past the Greenbriar School on a one way gravel road, we walk the remaining mile to this homestead steeped in history. The five Walker Sisters lived and worked off their land in the traditional way, even after the government moved in to purchase surrounding property for the purpose of establishing a national park. Instead of selling their property for a price, the Walker Sisters agreed to sell the land in exchange for lifelong leasehold on the cabin. When the last Walker Sister died in 1964, the National Park Service chose to embrace the homestead’s history and the testament to the pioneer spirit upon which our country was built by choosing to leave the cabin as it once stood.

We spread out blankets and open picnic baskets and enjoy what feels like a “Little House on the Prairie” moment in time. Short naps and a good deal of stretching later, we listen to a Park Ranger as she tells us the park encompasses 522,419 acres (816.28 square miles) making it one of the largest protected areas in the eastern United States. It was the first national park whose land and other costs were paid for in part with federal funds; previous parks were funded wholly with state money or private funds. The park is so big that scientists are still discovering some of the plant and animal species that live there. The park is home to more than 1,500 bears so we keep our eyes open when hiking the Smoky Mountain trails. Nothing beats seeing a bear in the park, but we think we might like to do that from quite a distance. There are plenty of other breathtaking sights here in the Smoky Mountains–waterfalls, winding valleys and, of course, century-old architecture.

There are three entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park from Gatlinburg, and each one would take us into a different section of the 800 square miles of unspoiled Appalachia. Sweeping vistas, marching woodlands, tumbling streams and incredible cliff tops unfold as we wind our way along much of the 400 miles of mountain roads. Smoky Mountain trails, scenic overlooks, waterfalls and historic homesteads are everywhere. Loop roads hug the mountainsides before opening up onto breathtaking vistas. Whether we had arrived during the rich green days of spring and summer, the crazy quilt of autumn color or the sparkling white of winter, our drive through the roads of Great Smoky Mountains National Park was guaranteed to be an adventure in itself. HUMAN STORIES: A TALE (OR IS THAT TAIL?) OF LIFE EVENTS FROM THE CATS PERSPECTIVES.

"One thing I've learned, and I've lived here some time, is that my human person, isn't very reliable. She doesn't even get it, that I'm much smarter then she is!" pouted Skitzy, my smaller female tortoiseshell cat.

The human counterpart of this two cat household, that being me, inquired about Skitzy's current mood. "Skitzy, You don't seem to be as happy as you once were? You don't seem to be your sweet little loving self. What's going on with you?" I asked her, hoping I could get to the cause of this change in her personality.

"You're the one you brought in that big black bully brute of a Cat named Cole! Though you talked to me about it before you brought him here, I've suffered greatly since he's lived here. I think you love him more than you love me!"

"Oh Skitzy! How can you say that? I brought Cole in because I thought you needed cat company after Misty died. I had hoped Cole would be a good cat companion and a playmate for you."

"Well you thought wrong didn't you?" Skitzy got that haughty and hurt look on her face. "You've seen the way he goes after me? The minute I move, that big brute, Cole is all over me, like peanut butter sticks to jelly. How can you ignore the keening noises I've made when he aggressively goes after me?"

"Skitzy I haven't been ignoring you. Those noises are very distressing to me. That's why I started my Cat separation system, and my cat rotation system." One cat gets confined to a bedroom, while the other cat freely gets to roam the rest of the place. Then it rotates and they change places. The Cat that was previously out, gets confined to a different room, and the one who was previously confined gets the run of the rest of the place. It would be so much simpler if I could have built a cat revolving door. "I've done that to protect you from Cole's aggressiveness. My cat rotation system, was to make it fair to both of you!" I pleaded with Skitzy.

"You call this set up fair?" Skitzy asked in protest. "I get confined much more then Cole does. I used to volunteer to go into the room I get confined in, or didn't you ever notice? But why should I go in there voluntarily now, after his last vicious attack on me?"

Everything she said was true. After the last time I tried to reintroduce them to each other, Skitzy got the worst of it from Cole. She became traumatized and wouldn't come out from under my bed. Even opening a can of wet cat food, did nothing to entice her out as it had in the past. (coninuted tomorrow)

♥ Mom cleaned up this kitty that she had stuffed away in the storage shed for a couple years. She used to use it for the outside kitties as their waterer til she learned not to use plastics and such for our food and waterers. Anyways, she brought it inside and put it on the front room floor for us to check out so that's just what I started doing then Rhoamin 2921 came over to see it then I got in it and laid down! Can you guess what came next? Yeppers, the Pawpurrazzi's at it again! Mom took three pictures of me in it and now you can see me, too, in my picture gallery! MOL!

♥ So some of you were wondering what kind of bulbs mom got from Michigan Bulb! Well, she got 15 Cool Breeze Freesia Blend bulbs; 3 Summer Cheer Daffodil bulbs; 3 Switzerland Begonia tubers; 3 Passion Mixed Begonia tubers and 1 Independence Hosta plant. She's suppose to get the rest next week which is Oxalis Triangularis (Wood Sorrel) and Mixed Ranuculus. Mom calls those "Paper Roses" cuz that's what they look like to her!

How was your weekend? We enjoyed an awesome pawsome time! Did you know that today begins Take Your Pet to Work Week? No cat owners in a recent pet industry survey said they took their cats to work, but 3 percent of dog owners did. Silly ole dogs would like work, wouldn’t they?! We are MUCH too smart for that! When I was just a baby, I would visit Mommy’s office often. Everyone there oohed & aahed over cute little me. Now I prefer to stay home. Don’t you agree?

The outside kitties Whitey & Orangie are doing fine. My Mom gave them a special treat, which we all got for Father’s Day. We love when she buys us Whiska’s Filet Mignon cat food. Unfortunately the vet doesn’t recommend it, so we only get it on occasions. I hope you had a nice weekend.

Check out time at the Madonna Inn is later than the usual hotel. But then the Madonna Inn has been anything but usual! We’ll have time for breakfast & a game of tennis on the pink tennis courts, or just relax & stroll the grounds.

Back aboard the Royal Train to continue up the coast of CA. We’ll enjoy brunch as our train glides out of the depot & begins its journey to the town of Cambria. Here we will detrain to the waiting Feline Motor Coaches & head to San Simeon, home of Hearst Castle. If we’re lucky, we might catch an odd glimpse of a herd of zebras grazing alongside the highway. These are descendants of animals brought to California for William R. Hearst’s personal zoo. But don’t worry; they are well cared for by the Hearst Castle grounds men.

William Randolph Hearst, an American newspaper publisher who built the nation’s largest newspaper chain, told architect Julia Morgan that he wanted to built "a little something" on the CA coast. Three decades later, Casa Grande (commonly called Hearst Castle) crowned La Cuesta Encantada, Hearst's "Enchanted Hill" above tiny San Simeon. It's a 165-room Moorish castle with 127 acres of gardens, terraces, pools & walkways, furnished with Spanish & Italian antiques & art, flanked by three large guesthouses. In its heyday, Hearst Castle had a zoo, tennis courts & two magnificent swimming pools.

With a personal collection of ancient art, sculptures, furniture, relics & more, William Randolph Hearst amassed a collection that still rivals museums today, and used almost every square inch of the hilltop California estate to showcase it all.

Today Hearst Castle is a State Historical Monument, and we can all enjoy a glimpse into the Hearst's opulent lifestyle.

We’ll be taking the Hearst Castle Twilight Tour where costumed docents literally bring the Castle to life! Warm lighting & staff in 1930s costumes - women sipping martinis over their card game, reporters typing their days' stories in their bedrooms & lovers strolling the grounds - bring the massive house alive. We’ll wind our way through the Casa Grande’s social rooms, guest accommodations, the Office & Mr. Hearst’s own private Gothic Suite.

Hearst lived & entertained at San Simeon with his long-time girlfriend, actress Marion Davies. Their guests included Hollywood stars, politicians & dignitaries such as Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, Greta Garbo, Charles Lindbergh & Winston Churchill. On the Hearst Castle night tour, as visitors, we can pretend we've received an invitation to come to "the ranch."

Unfortunately, there’s no restaurant at the Hearst Castle. We have snacks onboard the Feline Motor coaches to tide us over until we’re back on the train, where our exceptional fine dining awaits us.

good morning
well it's turned humid and sticky out there we'll take that over the dry and cold of the 40s of yesterday morning although it did warm up pretty fast as the sun came up and it was clouding up at the same time! all the boomers and showers/rain missed us to the north and a scant chance to-day of an isolated boomer and good chances tomorrow when a dry cool front comes in and 80s the rest of this week here and 70s up north where we'll be (janet and nat too) next week. we'll be gone for two weeks, right? just making sure if not a week is good enough! janet's mom said they'd better be home on wed. next week and not stay another day if they can afford it as she's gotta start saving for the winter tires, when her boyfriend rick comes up late in september for a week, then also for nat's car insurance which is why she's leaving $2,000 for insurance. she's got to look into it since she's been putting it off the past two months and into this one long enough, she's just around the corner from where master goes to pay bills from time to time so can go there and find out as well as see about how much it'll cost master...her really to get nat onto his policy to drive for the rest of this year and into next. sandy,ana,haley,angels

Mom and I have been looking at the show schedule and right now the only shows listed are the ones in Palm Springs and Las Vegas. They are still listing shows and we are watching for the new list. ♥ You know what else? My back is all healed from when I had that growth removed and my fur has grown all back! I feel good and mom even says my attitude is better! Gosh, I didn't think I had an attitude! MOL!

♥ Hey! Did you see my new profile photo yet? You just gotta come over check me out! Mom just posted it. Mom says I look like a human! MOL!

♥ So, mom and dad worked a little in the front yard yesterday and then mom got a small package in the mail from Michigan Bulb. Mom also washed and dried the one big litter box in the front room then fresh litter in it once it was thoroughly dry.

♥ Today, mom planted her new bulbs and made some hanging baskets, too! She's anxious to see them grow now! Mom also scooped out the big sand~litter box in the back yard plus the covered litter box on the patio, the three in the front room and the two in the girls' room then hauled the garbage and yard debris carts to the curb for morning pick up.

♥ Mom did get all of the DOTD Thank Yous done last night for her Pekingese ~ Tiger 15052. You know, he was a cool doggie and he liked me! You can see him and me in my gallery on the second page. He was bigger than me cuz I was just a fur ball kitten!

How was your weekend? The last couple of days got away from us. We had some bad storms on Thursday we had debris everywhere outside for mom to clean on Friday. Then mom got a belly bug yesterday and spent most of the day between the bed and the bathroom. Mom is rarely sick so this really threw her for a loop. Today mom has been on call and she worked most of the afternoon--she'll be glad to be done with call tomorrow morning at 7. How was your weekend? Are you getting ready fur your big day?

Our Special Recognition cats today are Serj & Leah #196985 who were both adopted from Lolly Pop Farm Animal Shelter at the tender age of eight weeks old. Both quickly acclimated to their new forever home by making fast friends with their new furry siblings with Serj #196985 getting close to his sister Katie, who sadly is now an angel, and Leah being wherever her brother Gir is. Like all of us cats, both of these fine felines have their own personalities and likes & dislikes.

Serj is pretty outspoken but Leah #196985 is shy. Serj's morning routine is waiting for his mom every morning in the bathroom and after her shower, insists on head scratches and kisses and lovey dovey time.

Leah #196985 is a bit feral but she has relaxed enough that she will allow her mom to pet her on occasion without running away. Leah lets her mom know when their food bowls are empty by standing on the counter and meowing an alert to have the bowls filled. Leah only likes dry food and especially likes it when it is poured fresh into her bowl.

Serj #196985 will jump over the dog gate to get inside his mom's bedroom so he can cuddle with her even when he whacks at the ferrets during the night. nope..i have never been a dad..mom took care of that..and she didn't even ASK me..how rude!
our dad had to work today..but mom will be making sure that dad has a nice relaxing evening..
you're right about the humidity! mom spent 2 hours outside today pulling up all those epsky weeds and says she sweat buckets! but, the garden looks much better..
she wouldn't let us out to help her either..so we all just supervised..from inside..i hope i can go out later and check things out and make sure she got every one of those weeds..hehe..
