My favorite tricks and treats are: He is very smart, very sweet, and adorable, and that's plenty! He loves to fetch a fuzzy toy raccoon up a six foot cat tree, to a window ledge above the door, another two feet! He'll fetch and bring it back as many times as I'll throw it! and Friskie's Natural Sensations
Where I hang out: I love to hang out in one of the 4 cat trees, or the kitty playground mom made us, out of tents & tunnels..
My favorite grubs: He eats Blue Buffalo
My pet peeves: He is a very laid back boy. And he gets scared less and less now..
What I love about my owners: She was very patient and understanding with me. She gave me my own "safe room" to stay in while I adjusted. She loves me bunches!!! She just got me a new "boy" playmate! These girls are too grouchy!
My cat hobbies: Bug the two girl kittie's. They don't have my long, fluffy coat, or tail

How We Met
I saw his baby picture on Petfinder.com, and when I went to see him, he was 3 months older, than the photo. Which made him about 6 months old. He was way to big for the cage that he and 2 siblings were in, and they were so shy. Realizing that he'd spent most of his kittenhood like that was it. I had to get him out of there. He has done so good, and everytime he's experienced something that he never had before, it brings tears to my eyes. He has had to learn to be a kitten.

You're very handsome and so is the rest of your Family. My name is Koda and I'm a Seal Point Siamese and my younger Brother, Marcus is a Chocolate Point Siamese (he's the bad seed LOL). We are Siamese if you please. So happy you now have a Forever Home. Mommy rescued 3 Kittens/Cats over the years. She also says that there's a place in Hell for people who abuse Animals and Humans for that matter. If only we could do to these horrible abusers what they do to Animals, we don't think there would be too many around! Okay, guess that's enough for now. Here's a vote for you. It always makes us smile when we hear that someone has taken in a cat who needs special care. It must have been pretty scary when the pin came out of his leg ! We are very sorry he may have to loose a leg but a lot of cats live long, happy active lives with three legs. We will keep him and all of you in our Prayers. Thank you for the up date ! Your Meiko is GORGEOUS! No wonder you think that my Mocha might be a Ragdoll too. They look an awful lot alike, don't they? How much does your Meiko weigh? Mocha is 16lbs. He's supposed to be pretty big, the vet tells us. Also, the vet asked if Mocha was a Maine Coon because of how big he is. Thanks for visiting us!

THE ORIGIN OF SANTAS REINDEER
Santa's reindeer come to mind as soon as you start to think about Christmas. We've all heard the legend about Santa flying around the world to deliver toys in his sleigh pulled by eight reindeer, but they weren't always part of the Christmas celebrations.
As Christmas legends go, the story of the sleigh with Santa's reindeer is very new. For many centuries there have been stories about a kind old man delivering gifts to children all over the world, whether he's known as St. Nicholas, Sinterklaas, Father Christmas, Santa or any of his other aliases. Stories of the mysterious and generous old fellow have been around since the fourth century. But it wasn't until the 19th century that the eight famous reindeer entered the Christmas scene. Prior to that, Santa traveled on a white horse in Europe and a donkey in South America. It is believed that Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzer first appeared in 1823, in the poem "A Visit From St. Nicholas," commonly known as "The Night Before Christmas," by Clement C. Moore. It didn't take long for them to become an essential part of holiday lore. It soon became common for artists to depict Santa with reindeer. Santa's sleigh full of toys being pulled across the sky by the team of reindeer has become an iconic holiday image. The Reindeer driven by Santa Claus are the only known flying Reindeer in existence, believed to have been endowed with the power of flight by virtue of magic corn given to Kris Kringle by a great and wonderful wizard. Through this magic corn, the strength of the Reindeer is increased threefold, their stamina increased to infinity and their hooves can manipulate the air as though it were solid ground. Thus, a complement of nine Reindeer would be able to pull a sleigh brimming with 13,500 pounds of toys for an unlimited amount of time. Santa's Newest Friend
But what of Rudolph, the most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer, was created in 1939 by Robert May, an employee of Mongomery Ward. The department store wanted to create a free giveaway book for children as a promotion. May wrote the story in rhyme for the book, which was a big hit with Montgomery Ward's customers.

Thank you for welcoming my babies, Mitty and Jimmy, to the site. Your babies are so adorable. I'm so happy that I rescued both of mine, especially my baby girl Mitty, now age 5. When her original owners dumped Mitty at the Humane Society, she was 8 months old and weighed only ONE pound! Mitty was emaciated, dehydrated, infested with fleas, and one of her back legs was injured from being abused. The Humane Society had dozens of 6 to 10 week old kittens and I had planned to adopt a kitten, but I fell in love with Mitty at first site so I chose her instead. When I learned what Mitty had been through with her previous owners that made me so angry. But that is why I spoil the daylights out of her (and Jimmy too). Mitty now weighs 12 pounds and both she and Jimmy are very spoiled; they sleep wherever they want when they want, they eat whenever they want, and they are both babied beyond belief. Mitty still does the stroking your face with her paw thing and she does it so incredibly gently and sweetly that she wins the heart of everyone she meets. I am amazed that she is such a sweet and loving cat after what her previous owners put her through. I rescued Jimmy as well, partly to give Mitty a cat friend and playmate but also because I wanted to save another cat from being euthanized.Come visit me, Jimmy & Mitty.

THE MIRACLE OF THE POINSETTIA
At Christmas in Mexico, most houses display the Poinsettia. Just as we have Holly, Misletoe and the Christmas Tree, the Mexicans have the poinsettia. They believe that the beautiful plant brings a blessing that will last all year. The tradition has existed since 1834 when a miracle occurred in a tiny village.
In those days it was customary for people in the villages to take gifts to the Baby Jesus at Christmas Eve. Little Maria, a poor peasant girl had no gift, but she did so want to enter the church and see the Baby Jesus in His crib. She stood outside, watching others as they entered, carrying their gifts. Some took food, some took crochet and lacework. Others carried flowers. But little Maria had nothing. One lady passed her with a huge bundle of flowers in her arms. As she walked by, a leaf fell from the enormous bunch and landed at Maria’s feet. She picked it up and thought, “I will take this leaf”.
Others saw Maria pick up the leaf and smiled as she carefully wrapped it in her small handkerchief. And then, clutching her tiny gift, Maria entered the church. She took her place at the end of the line of people waiting to make their offerings. Then at last, it was Maria’s turn. She stretched out her arm and carefully opened her fingers to place the leaf on the altar in front of the crib.
There was a gasp from the adults who had seen Maria fold the leaf into her tiny handkerchief. For as her fingers separated, it was seen that the little peasant girl was now holding a beautiful flower. The miraculous bloom was formed like a star with brilliant scarlet leaves.
Word of the miracle spread quickly through the church and people fell to their knees. The gift of the Poinsettia came to be known as “The Flower of the Holy Night”.

Description of Mohs Surgery:
Mohs surgery is a precise surgical technique used to treat skin cancer. During Mohs surgery, layers of cancer-containing skin are progressively removed and examined until only cancer-free tissue remains. Mohs surgery is also known as Mohs micrographic surgery.
The goal of Mohs surgery is to remove as much of the skin cancer as possible, while doing minimal damage to surrounding healthy tissue. Mohs surgery is usually done on an outpatient basis using a local anesthetic.
Mohs surgery is an improvement to standard surgery (local excision), which involves removing the visible cancer and a small margin of healthy tissue all at once. Mohs surgery allows surgeons to verify that all cancer cells have been removed at the time of surgery. Mocha is blushing from the compliments! I (owner) am curious about you thinking he may be a ragdoll? Im not sure about that. Only because I've compared his stats to the Maincoon, and he fits perfectly. However, I am not exactly an expert at these things.He does have those big beautiful blue eyes. He's about 16lbs. Yes, hes got the lynx ears. So if that mean he's a ragdoll, then I guess I have mislabled him! Whoops! Your cats are gorgeous! Thanks for coming to visit. Meiko... My owner used to have a kitty name Meeko... It's spelled differently, but pronounced the same. She had to give him away though, because her other cat Tucker died, Meeko couldn't take it. Has to be around other cats, and he was going beserk, so now a friend has him and he is enjoying life.Come visit me, Isabella.
