Wow, what a week it was.....
Snuggled inside of Mama's suitcase with Koshka was romantic but not much fun. It was hot and we were so happy to get to our cabin on the ship so Mom could let us out.
While Mom had fun, Koshka & I put finishing touches on our plan to hunt that GIANT mouse. We went along on this trip so we could have his ears hanging above our fireplace mantle. We did enoy the cruise and then anticipation overload set in as we drove back to the home of that giant mouse. He lives in a huge castle, even bigger than the CC one. He dances and sings and is good to children. We watched his every move day after day and we knew most everything about him. I know when and where he eats, sleeps and everything. Koshka is a great hunter and we trapped that GIANT mouse in his bed while he was having sweet dreams. Koshka went in for thr kill and then Mickey rubbed his eyes, sat up and asked what we were doing. We couldn't believe the mouse was being so nice to us.... So we climbed up in his bed and he told us mouse tales the rest of the night. Koshka and I agree that for a GIANt mouse, Mickey is not so bad. We became friends and he was not even mad at us for hunting him. We did come home with those ears, they look wonderful above the mantle. Mickey Mouse gave them to us and said he has plently of others to wear. What an adventure... We had him but he was so nice that we could not kill him... I now have a wonderful giant mouse friend..
Thanks for coming by to help me celebrate my 5th birthday. Come back again today and help celebrate my beautiful daughter Molly's 3rd birthday. Maybe I will let you see those giant ears. We even have a photo autographed by Mickey himself.. Koshka is holding the ears and Mickey is holding me...

"Mikey's Meow-velous Mothers" - May 9
Today’s special mama cat comes all the way from Cambridgeshire, England! Meet JOLIE, a pretty black kitty who went the extra mile for her kittens.
When Jolie’s owners realized that she was pregnant, their solution to the problem was to drive to a rural area and throw her out of the moving car! A passerby saw this cruel act, and kept an eye on the understandably skittish young lady cat for two weeks, before she was finally able to be coaxed into the safety of her new human guardian’s greenhouse. Once this was accomplished, the lady looked Jolie over and took her to the vet for treatment for her face, which had been grazed by her rough landing in the road.
It was also apparent to the vet that Jolie had very recently had kittens. The kind woman contacted the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to make a report, and for advice on how the kittens might also be found and helped.
An RSCPA inspector thought that the only thing to do was to take Jolie back to the spot where she had been thrown from the car, and look around. Sure enough, when Jolie was set down she began to vocalize in a way that the inspector recognized as a mother cat calling to her kittens. But when no kittens appeared, he realized that Jolie was calling HIM. When he got the hint and began to follow, Jolie led him for over 300 metres, through a back yard, across a field and into a farmyard, all the time calling and then waiting for him to follow. Finally, she led the inspector into an old barn and behind a woodpile, where sure enough he found four week-old kittens, who without their mother would very soon have died of dehydration.

On Easter morning Mom gave me a fuzzy lamb that she filled with catnip. I drag him all over the living room and dinning room. He is soooo much fun. I really like these holidays I get so many special toys and treats too. Mom gave me a lot of treats Sunday and I guess thats because we can't eat candy. Thats O.K. with me I love my treats. HAPPY SUNDAY
well, time to catch up on me blogs. Sorry it has taken so long getting back here with you all. Every "paw-dy" is doing well as can be expected I suppose. The weather has been absolutely GORGEOUS so far but expected to get some much needed showers and sprinkles for the next few days. It figures since it is time for the Sorghum Festival in Mommie's old hometown nearby, and we are having a Fall Festival here in our area too. It never fails to pucker up and rain though during these events. Mommie & Poppie were very busy yesterday putting plastic back up around the rabbits cages and washing their boxes all out, covering the air conditioner, and covering the vents around the house. Mommie said she just hated to see winter time coming. She and Poppie have had the virus going around with stomach problems and it has hit every one really hard around and about. My human cousin has had it really bad and he finally has two teeth popping through too. I am doing great myself right now. Eating, sleeping and purring. Well, gotta run and do some bird watching out the bay window.
