The first Friday of October each year marks World Smile Day, a day to do one act of kindness. Spread a little happiness to make the world a better place. Harvey Ball, creator of the now famous yellow smiley face, thought the logo was becoming too commercial and losing its real meaning. Here's your furrfriend's smiling VOTE!
Leaves are falling all around
Red, yellow, orange, and brown.
Twirling, swirling to the ground
Look how many leaves I've found!
Come little leaves, said the wind one day,
Come o'er the meadows with me and play;
Put on your dresses of red and gold -
For summer is gone and the days grow cold.
Leaves in the autumn came tumbling down,
Scarlet and yellow, russet and brown.
Leaves in the garden were swept in a heap,
Trees were undressing ready for sleep.

Well aren't you just a cute little thing. I looked just like you when I was a kitten!... I think. I mean, stripes, right? We're all in the same basket, here. I hear at least twice a day that "striped cats are nuthin' but trouble." (Shh, don't tell my owner that I was the one to unroll the toilet paper!)
