How are you doing? I hope you have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving tomorrow. I hope you eat lots of good food with your family and friends. We have much for which to be thankful.
I am lucky to have such great friends as you who love me even though I'm so bad about getting online and writing. I miss you and just wish I had more time to write. Sigh! Such is life…

5/5/1862: Cinco de Mayo, the 5th of May, celebrates a victory by the Mexican people over the French Army in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. It honors the memory and bravery of the Mexican soldiers who fought for their country.
"Battle of Puebla": Its victory marks a turning point in Mexican national pride. A small, poorly armed group of about 4,500 men were able to stop the French invasion of a well-equipped European army.
Today we enjoy the colorful festivals, lively fiestas, special dances, decorated piñatas, delicious foods, drinks (Corona, tequila, frozen margaritas), traditional Mariachi music and wear clothes of red and green, the colors of the Mexican flag with our friends from South of the Border.

Thank you all for pouncing over to help me on celebrating my 11th year Adoptiversary which in results made me win my 3rd Cat of the Day and my 2nd Cat Rescue of the day Badges on 8/15/2011. Thank you also for all the yummies, treats, gifts, flowers and most of all your friendships!!
I also have enjoyed meeting new friends. I also got xtra Friskies Natural Sensations treats. I am a very picky eater and mom has a hard time finding treats that I will eat. I just love these treats!
